CW POTA at US-4567 with the Yaesu FTDX10
I'm back at US-4567 today for another CW Parks On The Air activation. The bands have been rough lately, so I figured I'd run some more power than usual. I grabbed the FTDX10 and my UR5CDX key from my shack and paired them with the Wolf River Coils Sporty Forty and 213" whip. QSB was bad, and signal reports were all over the place. Even on 100w I was getting 339 RSTs. I had some pretty big pileups going, but they'd just completely disappear at times. All in all, it was a pretty busy activation. Thanks for watching and 73!

I'm running the TX-500 and the WRC antenna along with the BaMaTech TP-III. 40m is my favorite band, and summertime morning activations are awesome. Today I'm activating US-4567 Captain John Smith Chesapeake National Historic Trail. This runs the entire length of the Susquehanna River.
