Why are they mentioning his height like he’s tiny? Calling him smaller than Marcus Stroman is a bluff. He’s 5’10 and stroman is 5’7. Yamamoto is the Japanese Pedro Martinez. Same height, same frame, and 3 elite pitches. Mark my words

He also has a slider, cutter and 2 seam that he rarely throws...i would not be surprised if goes to those pitches much more often in the MLB

Do people realize Tyler Glasnow is 6’8.
So imagine facing 6’8 Glasnow then facing Yamamoto at 5’10.
And then potentially facing 6’5 side arm lefty Ryan Yarbrough.
Both Glasnow and Yarbrough pitched for the DRays in the 2020 World Series.
      Getting Bueller back is big.
Dodgers should really try to get Kershaw back. He picked up 2 of the 4 WS wins. Kershaw seems to okay better in a short season concept which will actually be the case for him in 2024. He’s expected to be back from injury in July/Aug 2024.

"There's no major league starters of any size that size" yeah I guess Marcus Stroman is somehow shorter

Not true, the NPB is considered the 2nd best baseball league behind the MLB.
The top NPB teams would dominate over the weaker MLB teams..
I personally wish the Japan Series winner would play the World Series winner in say a best of 3.
