I won’t lie, this game made me a little emotional. The result was heartbreaking but this was an incredible baseball game! If Mexico was going to go out, I want them to go out fighting! 🇲🇽 Mexico had an incredible WBC run and made me proud to be a Mexican! 🇲🇽 Congratulations Japan! You deserve it 🇯🇵 Games like these are what make the WBC special and I don’t understand how anyone could possibly dislike this event! Baseball won today! I really saw how Ohtani is not only a leader on the field but in the dugout too. Even when they were down 3-0 he was willing his team to win, I respect that.

I can say both everyone got very stressed about it, the techniques of Japan where incredible and precise, and Arozarena basically blocked possibilities of a home run from Japan, both teams did an incredible job.

Wow! That's one of the bestest baseball games I've ever seen and I've been watching MLB for 40 years. Why? Because of the passion (passion = suffering) and joy. I even liked the Mexican outfielder dropping a pose after robbing that homer. This tournament needs more attention in America. Just like World Cup soccer.

Honestly this felt more like the finals than the one where Japan vs USA especially when their better pitchers didn't play. What game and for Ohtani to win it with a walk off from Murakami's hit. Will see this more often now that he's on the Dodgers with MVP teammates.
