Aces at Work - Yoshinobu Yamamoto

There are few things more pleasing to watch than an ace pitcher throwing heat or fooling batters with off-speed filth. Here's one of the Pacific League's finest practicing their craft.
Simply put, Yoshinobu Yamamoto was the best pitcher in Japan in 2021. Going 18-5 in the regular season with an unheard of 1.39 ERA, 6 complete games, and 4 shutouts, Yamamoto was a shoo-in for the Eiji Sawamura Award, leading the Buffaloes to the Pacific League pennant and a Japan Series berth, and added MVP honours to that too. His four-pitch mix includes a mid-90s fastball, cutter, curveball, and his mighty splitter. His 202 strikeouts were more than anyone else in Japan: here they all are (hope you've got time!)

Because NPB has a rule that prohibiting players to come over to US too soon
If a player goes to american before his time, he'll have to sit for 3 years if he want to be back in NPB
So the earliest time he can come over is next year
That's why so many mlb japanese greats like Ichiro, Hideki Matsui, Tanaka, Darvish start their majors career in their mid to late 20s
