I just impulse bought this to run Revit (architecture software) and it seems like it'll work just fine. Going from a 2015 HP Envy (16GB RAM 1TB hard drive/SSD) I'd say it's an improvement. Great price for something that will run everything I need without a 1HR start up time. As you can see, I don't know sh*t about computers, but as a carpenter with a design job on the side, performance is key. Thanks for the review, I understand that I don't understand anything, but I'm confident it'll do the job.
Good video, thank you! I was thinking about getting this computer for work but wanted it to be good for gaming at an affordable price, you did great explaining everything in every detail and the editing was definitely on point :D
Hello May you help me in choosing between Hp victus 16-d1013ne 12700H RTX3060 16GB 1TB-SSD And Dell G15 5511 11800H RTX3060 32GB 2TB-SSD ? Specially which one have better Materials and less malfunctions ?
When listening to music via Headphone or In-Ear Monitor, the sound quality is one of the worse from any other laptop. Just garbage. It really damages the B&O reputation (although B&O only supplied a cheap version of the Speaker driver).
Unfortunately, the HP Victus 16 does not support charging via a USB-C port or a power bank. It is recommended to use the HP adapter provided with the notebook for optimal performance and battery chargeability. If you’re on the go and don’t have access to a power outlet, you might want to consider getting a portable laptop charger or power station that has an AC outlet.
@@Terafied Unfortunately, you are not quite right. The HP Victus 16 can be charged through Type-C, but only when it is turned off or sleep, and the maximum charging power is 40W (the same goes for charging through the DC 4.5x3.0 to Type-C adapter). I have tried this with 65W and 90W power supplies (unfortunately, I don't have a more powerful one yet). I conducted some research: in idle mode with the screen on and the battery at 70%, the laptop consumes 100W - if loaded (CPU), it will be ~140W. There is hope that if a power bank can deliver 140W, it will be possible to charge it through a special adapter - DC 4.5x3.0 to Type-C.

if you put MW 2019 on ultra on 1080p it will probably get around 100 fps right? i searched for 3060 and i7 performance and it says it can run most modern titles on ultra with 60fps+

Looking at the HP site in Canada they have no colour accurate screens for the HP Victus, they are all 45% NTSC. No bueno for me.
Aw man. Hopefully they put proper screens in the future.
Wait, they give different screen depends on region?

100 fps? Unlikely. Above 60 is a definite however.
Can you do 4k movie editing on this
You could but it wouldn’t be fantastic at it.
Please 16gb ram... 2x8 or a single 16gb?
single 16gb, that way you can upgrade to 32 if you want
Yeap it should be single 16GB.
Single channel... loss of performance
Why us it call ENTRY MODEL LAPTOP?
It is pretty good as an entry level gaming laptop.

Please?

Which is best HP pavilion gaming 15 or HP victus 16????
HP Victus because you have the Omen panel
Question 1 dose hp victus have hdr support and Question 2 how do I trun it on and Question is it a windows setting or a setting in the victus system
The display on the Victus doesn't support HDR, so unfortunately no. And HDR setting is toggled via Windows.
