I own Victus and yes it's screen wobble is terrifying. So better you close the fold when you move it around.

@@sreeharib9359 it is not that bad I just bought one few days ago it might wobble but it feels tight you can buy it but if you don't want to regret it that the screen wobble later you should go for IdeaPad gaming 3 or Acer Nitro or even this pavillion 15
@@sreeharib9359 I own victus 15 GTX 1650 and I think the built quality is not bad . As I used envy m6 in past . It was a higher end laptop so that's why the built quality is not special for me . If you can expand your budget a lil bit u should buy Nitro 5 or Tuf f-15
i have the victus 15 (15.6 inch) and it wobbles only a bit but the hp victus 16(16.1 inch) wobbles a lot
Purchased a Victus laptop back on Oct 2021, motherboard fried in Nov. HP warranty has had it since then due to supply shortages. Just opted to get my money back

there's no software to control your charge limit on the victus, although there's something called adaptive battery optimiser in bios settings which is the closest thing you'll find to fill your needs
I recently got the pavilion. What is the use of the type C? Can I use it as another port the one I can buy for example additional usb port but it used type c going to laptop

@Ben and fellow editors, Thinking of buying HP Pavilion with Ryzen 7 5800H + RTX 3050. Although HP Victus is available with same processor + 3050ti.. but it's a bit heavier and I am worried about that bad hinge and screen wobble. What do you guys think about both of them?
Also, both have 72%NTSC (100% sRGB).
Personally I like the Victus a little bit more.... better build materials.

There is a hub for it, it's called AMD Software and if you have an older hp pavilion it probably won't let you have the performance hub

i own the victus for 3 days now and i couldnt really care less about the wobble i literally use it in bed and nothing happens and it fixes itself in like 3 seconds and if u hold it with both hands it just stops

It's true, HP Pavilion Gaming doesn't have the full control of the Gaming Hub. Not only that, I cannot control the battery charge limit to only 80% charge like Acer and Asus do. No fan control as well. Also, I cannot do screen mirroring through HP Gaming Hub to my Android smartphone. It just crashes on me. I own HP Pavilion Gaming 15.

I have a pavilion and i dont have acess to the performance tab on omen command center which sucks tbh... can't undervolt the cpu because of that... :/
exactly, i have a pavilion 15 with ryzen 5 4600h... all other competitors in the range have their own fan control or performance toggle software. come on hp, atleast stop advertising it as some big selling point when it does almost nothing...

The victus feels like a middle child. It has similar specs to the current omen 16s but lesser screen and build quality and not much in price difference but it goes head to head with the refreshed pavilion models...

I've been looking into these laptops but the problem is, specifically for the 16-e0311 model I can't find a website that lists the refreshrate that the screen is supposed to have. Not even the HP website itself. Do you know any website where I can find reliable specs on it? All other specs about it I pretty much know for sure except that...

Hp pavillion if you can get the gtx1660ti and i7 9th gen. The one on the vid is old but relatively the same price as the newer hp pavillion gaming. If you cant find the newer version, buy victus instead

Pavilion is best deal. You can find them for $400 used. You can upgrade ram from8 to 16 and add 1td ssd to the extra hd slot for under $100.

You people that have a screen wobble problem issue really need help, quit moving your laptop so much, sit it on a desk or on you lap and don't move it, not that hard
I got hp pavillion laptop last week and it's battery is draining too fast, the shop owner had told me to use it fully and make it 0% and then charge till 8 hours but i didnt, I just went home and started to use it, so that may be the reason but any of u guys know what is causing the battery draining fast??
This is a gaming laptop don't expect a battery backup from these laptop. If they work for 3-4 hours in normal usage that's the best backup you could expect.
