Thanks for the video Lenny. thank you, I finally know how to add seeds to my smoothie without getting seeds on the edge of the container. As expensive as the seeds are, I want to get every last seed in my smoothie.
Do you know what's crazy? I skipped the Nutribullet ad prior to this video. I have the 900 Series already and..... it's good enough for what it is, but STILL can't beat the Vitamix. I ordered the O.G. 5200 (my third one) and I can hardly wait for it to arrive.
Terrific show. Just came across it (March 2020). Noticing most of your videos are 2015. Love to see you do an updated blender head to head. The Ninja Pro (personal) has the blades in the lid. No danger to our fingers. :) Clearly Caroline knows her stuff. :) Lots of good Vitamix info...I've never owned one...considering one...
Why didn't she just throw the flaxseeds in with everything else before starting the blend? Was it to prevent whole seeds sticking to the side of the container?
I have had a Vitamix since 2008 and did not know the lid had a 2 oz measuring cup. Did he say they did not have an ice maker? What about ice trays ????? WOW
Hahaha. I like this guy's vids usually and this one has some great info, but did he have some happy juice before this one? Haha no hate. Just some funny interactions
I been wondering the same thing. I GREATLY enjoy his videos and I just imagine how thick of skin one must have to endure such ignorance and smug comments. I am serious as shit right now. I also do not get it.
Yup! It was so good that we named our go-to green smoothie after her. We make it a couple times per week, often as a smoothie bowl lifeisnoyoke.com/carolynes-green-smoothie
Why only one mesley cup of leafy greens? Cut back on the fruit and load up on the greens, for a healthier green smoothie. You don't want your triglycerides to go through the roof.
Jay T Yes if you’re a Nazi Vegan bent on ridding the world of carnivorous cruel humans. They think any thing made by or from an animal is off limits. Honey is a natural sweetener. Ask any bear.
johnulcer Cost - wise for sure the vitamix is levels above the ninja. If you do a cost-benefit ratio analysis of functionality vs. the cost then I think $60-$100 vs. $400+ for a Vitamix, has the Ninja ahead of the game. Anyone would be quite satisfied with the same outcome for less with less counter space taken up. I can travel (on a plane) with my ninja and have. Can't do that with a vitamix, hence usefulness has its limits unless you are a homebody with a big kitchen and cost not a consideration, then the vitamix gives you the levels above bragging rights. Just made a smooth black bean brownie batter mix with my ninja tonite. No lumps.
i've used a ninja. i own a nutribullet. the vitamix is in another league altogether - and there are countless consumer reports reviews and actual comparison tests that prove it. there's a reason the vitamix is more expensive and it's not just because it's bigger. the nutri ninja and the nutribullet can not handle common fibrous ingredients such as kale nearly as effectively as the vitamix.
johnulcer I think I must have gotten a Nutri Ninja that thinks it's a vitamix cause kale, including stalks are masticated pretty well. It's a dream machine that meets all my criteria, so I've been very happy to recommend it to anyone who would really like to get into smoothies and other creamed or blended preparations without sticker-shock. Sorry I'm not seeing a money's-worth justifiable difference. Just glad it's a great way to make some nutritious meals and small enough to travel with.
I had a nutri ninja auto iq and I have to say the vitamix is in a different league but get the product that's right for you. the thing about the vitamix is that it just does so much more. it's more multipurpose. the 10 year warranty rocks too. it doesn't have the power of the vitamix to crush kale and spinach although it crushes ice well. I used mine for a year and plastic pieces were breaking off near the motor. do your research before you invest and find the blender that works for you.

I'm impressed with her explanations! Great tips.
She has some amazing tips and explains so well. Thank you Carolyne!

"I mean I don't live with my mother..." /nervous laugh

Imma Mad man I hate to break it to you but parents do in fact get stoned
EXCELLENT! Do you have a video to address the dreaded smoothie "foam?" Thank you 😃
Good idea for a vid. Thanks!
The trick: Blend on Variable Speed 1 for a few seconds at the end. :)
Life is NOYOKE
Thank You. The trick really does work, i used it on my soup yesterday

Thanks Anderson. We have lots of new videos, too :)
Do you blend the stems of the kale too?
yup!
great video.... were you guys using a dry container or a wet container?
Dorian M Wet ofcourse.
Why didn't she just throw the flaxseeds in with everything else before starting the blend? Was it to prevent whole seeds sticking to the side of the container?
Yes
Is he ok? Lol
He’s fine. Just excited
HAHA! He's awkward and fidgety. Nice one.
2020
@@LINY he's definitely not fine
I have had a Vitamix since 2008 and did not know the lid had a 2 oz measuring cup. Did he say they did not have an ice maker? What about ice trays ????? WOW
Does Carolyne have her own channel..?
This was an awkward conversation. Especially when he started to talk about her luscious smoothie.
There's cringe in everyone of his videos. Did you see the very end outtakes too lol. She was ready for that to be over.
Right, right, right, right
What model is this

Safety tip when using a blender… Make sure to take the pitcher off of the motor base when adding ingredients.
Ever heard of an ice tray? It's a cool ice making tool that people used before auto ice makers built into fridges. No kidding, look it up!
thank you
What was the liquid to frozen fruit ratio?
about 50/50!
Is that 2 cups of almond milk?
Pretty sure it was just one. You can find the recipe here lifeisnoyoke.com/carolynes-green-smoothie/
Life is NOYOKE Thank You?
That looks more like she put in 2 cups of almond milk to me.
The Left/Right audio is the wrong way round...
Sorry Lenny, I shouldn’t have made that comment.
2:13 Looks like she had a protein shake in mind.
+Chad Hakala LOL
oh no! lol
Lmaooooo omggg I died. Ur so stupid I love it
I don’t know about all that, but there was definitely some sexual tension on set.
Why does carolyne sound like shes standing to my left?
Yeah you do live with your mom.
Nerves need a tamper then use 1 cup almond milk and fill it half full. LOL the tamper is for 1 person things and no liquid
mmmhmmm
That she say you don’t need a tamper. meaning toss it. Yea right. For 2 portion.
Hahaha. I like this guy's vids usually and this one has some great info, but did he have some happy juice before this one? Haha no hate. Just some funny interactions
Super ❤️💘💘🥰🥰❤️🥰🥰❤️🥰🥰❤️🥰 your new friend 🐱🥰🥰❤️🥰🥰❤️
This guy reminds me of Anthony Perkins
i'll take it
He looks like Bronson Pinchot
thanks for watching
This dude is do awkward
hi
What a goof! She is quite professional but the guy...duh!
Why is this man so nervous? Look at his hands during this video…
May I ask why everyone is throwing shade at him in the comments? Like I don't get it
aw, thanks Marcus. I think they think I'm acting like an idiot
I been wondering the same thing. I GREATLY enjoy his videos and I just imagine how thick of skin one must have to endure such ignorance and smug comments. I am serious as shit right now. I also do not get it.
45 seconds for frozen berries
This guy bugs me tremendously
me too
thought I was the only one
Yeah, I don't know why but he's driving me crazy.
So much unnecessary talking!!!
Thanks for the feedback. I'm working on bring more concise. Here's our latest Vitamix how-to vid: ua-cam.com/video/cwLbGFcUOxk/v-deo.html
Classy response! subbed
So did you actually taste it? You showed us everything but the taste test. That part was edited out.
Yup! It was so good that we named our go-to green smoothie after her. We make it a couple times per week, often as a smoothie bowl lifeisnoyoke.com/carolynes-green-smoothie
Ninja ad before watching this video. 🤔 Bunch of negative comments, whiners.
He’s so annoyed, poor girl!
If the machine is off, dummy , it"s ok to put your hand inside the container ABOVE the blades !
who you calling dummy?
Why only one mesley cup of leafy greens?
Cut back on the fruit and load up on the greens, for a healthier green smoothie.
You don't want your
triglycerides to go through the roof.
more greens, less fruit is def the goal. but you gotta crawl before you walk, right?
Cut the unnecessary talking.
working on it :)
All this explaining to blend lmao
This guy is mad awkward
Awkward is something you feel. This guy makes you feel awkward
This is cringe
Awkward!!!
for you
You have a banana AND an orange. That's PLENTY OF SUGARY sweetness. Don't think the honey is needed if you are looking for something healthy.
rho lees is honey not healthy?
Jay T Yes if you’re a Nazi Vegan bent on ridding the world of carnivorous cruel humans. They think any thing made by or from an animal is off limits. Honey is a natural sweetener. Ask any bear.
@@jayt2257 its pretty high in sugar but pretty healthy. If you have fruits that already have pretty high amounts of sugar then you don't need more
AND the mango, so this is just a sugar fruit smoothie NOT a "green" smoothie .
Mango is healthy and sugar from fruit is actually good for you get educated
It's natural mango froze aswel shows people are really being dummed down
A Green smoothie is water, greens, and fruit! Frozen mango 🥭 makes it creamy and thick while apples alone will make it watery
Talk too much
Get a Nutri Ninja. No blending problems
rho lees vitamix is a whole level above nutri ninja.
