Hi, how do you make smaller (2 servings) in the same corral size? I have an explorer (I think, it was gifted to me) and I do not have the small attachment.
So I just watched this on my big screen. My husband & I own a small business and we ordered the A3500 Gourmet SmartPrep Kitchen System. We also ordered the complete 5 piece immersion blender system, too! It’s all a dream come true , literally! I aged out of foster care. I could never dream of owning a system like this , being married for w7 years, breaking cycles, adopting six kiddos and owning a business that’s quickly becoming successful. We got the A3500 system in the mail today. It’s so incredibly surreal to me. Thank you Vitamix for making quality products!
Actually, she does use coconut water in one recipe at least. I'm trying to watch the while thing, just not finished yet. I use coconut water a lot too...
You can always use the pineapple water by placing the pineapple skins in a pot with rims of lemon, a cinnamon sticks if you want but optional tho, bring it to boil, strain the water from the skins and then let it cool. And there you have it, you can always drink the water as is or use it for the whole juice. Thanks for the video and for sure I will made those juices 😊
This video just sealed the deal for me. Lost my 750 in a moving fiasco a year ago, and this brought back every fond memory I had of my Vitamix. I did EVERYTHING with it. Going with a plant-based lifestyle change and know without the right tools, life becomes so much more difficult in the kitchen. THANK YOU for the videos and the support. ❤👍

I could never dream of owning a system like this We just celebrated 27 years of marriage, breaking cycles, adopting six kiddos and owning a business that’s quickly becoming successful. We got the A3500 system in the mail today. It’s so incredibly surreal to me. For a family like mine, owning a system like A3500 is a celebration. It’s our reward for a job well done. Thank you Vitamix for making quality products!
I SOOO love this idea of “whole food juices”. Mainly because, like you said, the mess and clean up with juicing, and dealing with straining the pulp is too much to do, too time consuming for me. I’ve only used my Vitamix for smoothies, dressings, and raw food sauces. It’s about to get a LOT more use now making whole food juices. And I appreciate not having to buy the tons of produce needed for juicing. Thanks for the idea!
Two more (minor) Pro Tips: 1) Get the water super cold first by swilling it around in the ICE, lol. Then get more ice. 2) Pre-chill your mason jar glasses by using them (drum roll please) to HOLD THE ICE before blending.
I got my vitamix 1200 - after going vegan for 12 months 😊 my first blend was black beans, chickpeas, onion, onion soup mix, mushrooms... then poured that over some rice
Long-time VM user stumbling onto your video today and really enjoyed the video, the throwback to 2016 and the lovely, immaculate kitchen, wow. I prefer the 5200 as I'm old school and find LED displays to be less reliable. Also I think it would be educational to talk about base liquids (coconut water, grape juice, concentrates, water) and their use/differences as part of Vitamixing is the order in which you stock the cannister. Many folks not having their best experience because they are loading "out of order". You've earned my subscription!
So HAPPY I came across your channel! Didn’t realize you could put big chunks of veggies in the V blender. I was about to spend a ton of money on a juicer and I love this direction with whole food much better…and seems much smarter! Keep it up. Thank you guys!
My mom had a vitamix and she used to make some vanilla ice cream that had cabbage in it. She loved making it and having people say how good it was and then tell them there was vegetables in it lol. The blender made it so smooth and creamy
I have been making whole food smoothies for years and absolutely love them. I am so glad I found your page! Now I can juice with my blender too! Can't wait. And the first one will be the yummy looking celery recipe. And I "inherited" the Vitamix my grandparents had (solid metal, works beautifully) and get to think of them with each and every healthy sip. Go me!
LOVED it from start to finish. Listed some ingredients for my next grocery shopping day and you know I'll be trying each and every one of these. Thanks Shalva! 🍎🥕🍍🍋🍓
Both of you are the deciding factor why Inourchased the VITAMIX! I absolutley gave LIFEISNOYOLK to get the commission from Vitamix. I love your cookbook, too!
Oh, my yum! I did the celery juice and grapefruit strawberry. I Chung have some for later. Keep the videos coming. I'm looking for the one with the orange.
Ignore the haters and know-it-alls. You gave this girl some fantastic ideas to start making a change in my life. P.S. people, i’ve found a vitamix and two blentec’s at goodwill for cheap.
I agree with whole fòod juices. I also juice the exact same ingredients and put them in mason jars and freeze them. I feed all of my pulp mixed with kale, apple and cucumbers and mix it with 88 % ground beef. This is what I feed to my Dogo Argentino.
Great video! I recently made juice with carrots, watermelon and ginger. Made it in my "juicer". It came out with tons of pulp. I was going to throw it out tomorrow. When I saw how smooth your juice came out in the vitamix, I pulled mine out and blended it with all that pulp. Soooooo good and sooooo smooth! I will definitely be using my vitamix for juicing.
I am excited about doing your recipes. My Vitamix should arrive shortly. I have never had one before, so I am looking forward using it and watching your channel.
Loved this video and now I need to pull the trigger and get one! I also have the nama j2 juicer and it’s amazing and easy to clean, but I need a great blender for smoothies and this is it!
I was researching what juicer to invest in and ran across your video.... very helpful! I already own a Vitamix but only use it to catch dust bunnies right now. You inspired me to try these. Thanks. By the way, use those strawberry stems in the juice. Lots of vitamins and much easier to toss in than to cut off.
Thanks for this video. ....smoothie, juice, I guess it depends on how much liquid you add. I'm blending for one, so.....I will experiment with the ingredients until I get the amount I can consume in two days. I LOVE how the Vitamix keeps the pulp and nutrients in the juice; I have TWO juicers which I hate using because I hate losing the pulp and nutrients.
Your book is out of print! I’d of bought it! If I could download it to my kindle double bonus. Been awhile since I used my vitamix. Last night made the best sorbet with frozen cherries. Loved your grren juice. Love almond milk made in vitamix. I have the A2500 and love love love it
Agreed I don't being left with all that wasted pulp I know there's things you can do with it but I don't like to bake and that's usually what they do with it
Yum and for a single person I could make that and put it in the vacuum pitcher that removes the air. Sana makes one. Actually thinking about upgrading to a vacuum blender now.
The camera movements are quite distracting-a static camera would be my preference (maybe with some B-roll between shots), but excellent video otherwise. Thanks for these great recipes!
I was just about to post the same thing. What's with the cameraman walking away from the subject, and including the floodlights in the view and random tripods on the table?? :) The camera shake while he's moving it away is quite distracting too. Just stay still bud! 😃

I think both method works. You have some people that don’t like that creamy thick consistency and they like the liquid so I do both of them in my apothecary. Thanks for your TeTori.
Love your videos. ❤ Thank you for the wonderful demonstrations. Btw you can easily peel ginger with the square end of a chop stick to avoid cutting into ginger meat.
Love that you are using your Vitamix but you can just put it on the Juice setting the one on the left with the straw and it will run for 50 seconds and come out very smooth and yummy, pretty sure that what that setting is for, works great, Grammie 🙂
A year or so ago I was blending celery and I never liked celery so I was surprised that I liked it. It’s not minty exactly but it reminds me of that in a way. It gives “bright.”
Thank you for this video. It is very timely! I got myself a juicer a couple of days ago, and have been thinking of returning before I saw your video. I was only thinking of alternatives. My reasons for the thought of returns are mainly because of what I see as waste! Even though I got the juicer for health reasons - getting maximum nutrients out of juicing - I guess your method also gives same benefit as juicing without the waste. I will get myself a Vitamin as soon as I return he juicer. Thanks for the pointer.
Love your smoothies. They are thin smoothies but I like them. Take the banana out of a smoothie recipe and you get these. I love smoothies, and I love juices. The very best of both worlds, on a high rawfood eating lifestyle. 🌞✨
I like both juicing and blending..... both are beneficial......I started juicing years ago and the first juicer I bought was messy and a pain to clean, so I barely used it.... then started blending wasn't as messy and definitely quicker.... but found a kuving auto 10 plus and out of everything I've used I prefer the juicer over blending.... the kuving crushes anything you put in it..... but it's a personal preference,I think either one is good..... awe, and it does clean up really well......
I’ve grown to dislike smoothies because I’d always add a red fruit with a green vegetable and it would look so unappetizing 🤧 I’m gonna start again and color coordinate them like she suggested, thank you!
Great video Shalva! You know I use my Vitamix at least 1x a day but I still learned new things! I'm going to add/sneak some things in to Dad's green juice (celery, lemon) and I will try the low speed-get rid of the bubbles trick. Also, which skins to leave on while making juice. And I want to try the new juice recipes! YAY!
@@LINY Kind of forgot about it... That was sooooo fun! But it was five years ago. Seemed like people liked it by the comments. Time to do another one? I might be available...:)
This is definitely a smoothie, but I'm not knocking the concept because I've actually done this before myself. Ultimately I ended up buying a juicer because I prefer my juices to not have any pulp/fiber in them. However waste is a concern of mine as well, so probably something that I will only do a few times a month.
Questions: 1)What quantity of the juices you are showcasing are considered a serving? 2) How long can the juices you make sit in your fridge? 3) Do u think it's okay to freeze and thaw out later for a future use?
Shalva you’ve done it again!! Great video!! I’ve never made these juices and they sure look yummy! I have a couple of questions. What’s the best way to store the juices and for how long? It’s just my husband and I so not sure how quick we would drink it up. As far as what other videos I’d like to see, frozen coffee drinks, desserts, muffin or pancake recipes and how you use the Vitamix in your everyday life. I can’t wait to try these recipes!! 😊
I have had dental surgeries on and off for months. I was very interested in that little book that you say you give to Dentist that you can get through the dentist. I’m sure we can’t in this area. How do I get one?
Hi! It's now published as Gentle Gourmet and available here amzn.to/3AJvHJ4 (It's nearly identical to the first version published as The Pain In The Mouth Cookbook amzn.to/3X8TCJk )
5:40 Pro Tip: Peel your ginger efficiently using the lip of a metal spoon. Waste no flesh this way! Plus, great way to involve young kids who aren't yet allowed to use knives.

One suggestion I would make is to use coconut water. I found it neutralizes the acidity and brings the natural sweetness out.

Hi! It's now published as Gentle Gourmet and available here amzn.to/3AJvHJ4 (It's nearly identical to the first version published as The Pain In The Mouth Cookbook amzn.to/3X8TCJk )
Great Job!😁👍
5:40 Pro Tip: Peel your ginger efficiently using the lip of a metal spoon. Waste no flesh this way! Plus, great way to involve young kids who aren't yet allowed to use knives.
Or just scrape with a knife; not peel. But I just clean my ginger and maximize my nutrients lol!!
Whats the best time to drink?
Awesome video thanks much yummy 😋
Yummy flavours ❤ looks great!
I think it's a good idea to switch up your livit every now and then 😊
