- Welcome to @RockSolidRig In July 2023 we once again found ourselves in Colorado visiting the beautiful San Juan Mountains. In this video we are picking up where we left off after finishing Engineer. We left Lake City heading south on 149 towards county road 30 and towards Cinnamon pass. Made a quick lunch stop at the lake and headed towards Animas Forks. Cinnamon pass is part of the alpine loop and is usually heavily trafficked by ATV, SXS, all types of 4ft and sometimes by 2wd vehicles being bamboozled by Google maps.

Yeah, I ended up on one of those "roads" that was on the map trying to get to Big Bear. In a lowered 1998 Mustang. Fun times! I made it, and didn't didn't destroy my Mustang.
And that trail had no graded sections on it.

the worst trail drivers are the ones when You are on a shelf road going uphill with the mountain on your passenger side and meet a vehicle going downhill with the cliff on their passenger side, and they decide to get into Your Lane and force You to go around them in Their Lane.
It blows my mind!! I don't even need them to move over in most cases, please just stop and let me scootch past.
Loo king at those switchbacks, they look like they've been improved since the first time y’all filmed them a few years ago. Maybe it was because there was less traffic or the sun wasn't as bright.
As far as the other drivers y’all encountered, something tells me doing this in a full-size rig is gonna be fun 🙄🙄🙄
Yeah it seemed they've opened some of it up for sure. The other drivers are....well...part of the adventure I guess, that's about all I can say in a public setting lmao
