- Welcome to @RockSolidRig In July 2023 we once again found ourselves in Colorado visiting the beautiful San Juan Mountains. In this video we are picking up where we left off after finishing Cinnamon Pass.
Once arriving in Animas Forks we hop onto California Gulch. This trail is just under 5 miles long and should generally take about an hour to complete. There are many well preserved mine buildings along the trail and you'll find yourself climbing up to almost 13,000ft as you reach California Pass.

last time I was in Colorado was in 1990 and the Deer in Colorado are not afraid of people like the Deer here in Louisiana are.
in Colorado we could pull off to the side and feed the Deer out of our hand and more Deer would come down from the mountain side and join in.
It really is like a Disney movie there with the wildlife and the views
