With respect to Todd Weinstock and Larry Gorman, I really feel like this is the best version of Glassjaw ever in their history. Durijah’s obscure hand style really brought flavor to the fills on the record they recorded and Manny’s playing is very unique and rhythmic. Beck usually stays on point to the record but Manny and Durijah always added a little extra accent and spice here and there like Daryl does with his vocals. Truly miss this lineup. Also Daryl truly is post-hardcore’s Mike Patton. 😂
Absolutely, this rhythm section was unreal. W&T will always be my favourite GJ release but the EPs from this era (Coloring Book and Our Color Green) are right behind it.
Coloring Book was so out of left field for GJ but it's God damn genius.. Such an incredible EP. Took a few years to really sink in. It's so good. Durijah and Manny brought options most rhythm sections can't pull off
Have you ever watched that video where Justin Beck is explaining his thought process when writing that EP? Dude's a true creative genius who definitely deserves so much more respect and recognition. It took awhile for Coloring Book to grow on me, too, but now it's one of my absolute favorite things GJ ever put out.

thank you for the blogpost dude 👍
Can't tell if that other dude is being sarcastic, but I liked reading this comment.
Not even close...W&T was by far the best lineup...I have seen every version of GJ live it's not even close

05:44 Daryl's like "did I just do that?" Lol
Dude's voice even amazes him
I do agree, although that particular moment felt more like "fuck, that hurt!"

So happy you uploaded a better version than what was out there!
Gracias! It was supposed to be in HD and I don't know why it got only 480p, I'll try to upload it again anytime soon
❤
Holy fuck!
Best version? Or synth bass added over the top?
They were embarrassed of early work or something there for awhile. Cmon.
