This is such a great video. Really got some Irish characters (slang for sound people - sound means nice and down to earth) along for the ride and a guy from San Fran too. Ta se ana mhaith ar fad - it's very good indeed. Hopefully you have gotten some more slang along the way. It is very different depending on where you are in Ireland. Slainte means health to you! You had black and white pudding for breakfast. Guinness is called a pint of the black stuff in Dublin. In Cork (well worth a visit) have Beamish which is very like a Guinness and Murphy's which is slightly paler. Looking forward to seeing where you go next.
Remember when the windrush generation the Irish were persecuted along with black people "no blacks Irish no dogs" it created an unbreakable bond to this day
Hi, the two breakfast items you asked about were black pudding and white pudding- they are delicious!!! If you travel down the country to Co.Kerry, one of the best makers of these puddings is Ashe butchers/pork products in Anascaul, and they are available in most supermarkets and many local cafes too. Clonakilty puddings in Cork are also super tasty. Travel outside 'The Pale' (slang for Dublin area) and check out the different slang words in other counties. 'Tis cat out' is used here in Kerry to mean it's raining heavily. If something or someone is 'banjaxed' it is broken or something is wrong physically with them. Good luck on your travels here in our Emerald Isle and if I see you in Kerry I'll be sure to say hello and give you more tips/slang. 😃👍 T

Nice video.
That’s the Central Bank not the Guinness Storehouse.
Big Up Ace!! 😎 Loving this series in the UK, catching up on your videos.
its the republic of ireland not the UK

you sounded like you had an Irish accent ! when you said " day 2 In Ireland " @3 seconds
@ACE that was slamming 🫡👍🏽
Lovely human channel well done Leon.
Remember when the windrush generation the Irish were persecuted along with black people "no blacks Irish no dogs" it created an unbreakable bond to this day
so what who cares
@@paulmcdonough1093Why did you care enough to comment, though? You’re a wee bit rude, lad.
Just like the Irish people are now saying "No blacks, no muslims" (:-
@@OldWolflad no they r not assh..e
It really didn't
I assume you never visited NYC because when he said what's the crack meaning how are you. In old NYC slang what's cracking is the same thing.
I love the people that are so warm and nice to you. Where did the Paris. girl go after your Tour. You both were so much fun
All of the public museums in Dublin are free to enter.
Get train/dart from dublin city to howth in the suburbs, besutiful fishing village, lots tourists
As place to visit is Blarney Castle in Cork.
Definitely check out West Cork and Kerry. Amazing. Also Kinsale, full of history a beautiful coastal town. ❤
We’ve loads of slang for being drunk; locked, scuttered, rubber, gee-eyed, stoned, plastered, steamin, bollox-drunk, rat-arsed, sh*t-faced, langered, and many more! 😆
You can also call random people horse.
@@riddim7774 "three sheets in the wind" is another term for being drunk.
@@riddim7774 horse-box is another good one
0:46 You were walking past City Hall Trinity is right at the end of that street.
The tourist bus is hop-on, hop-off. Buy a ticket and you can get off and then catch the next one.
The building on the left of Trinity is the now the Bank of Ireland. Originally the Irish Parliament during British rule.
Keep On Moving 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
