My Cousin Vinny Funny Sequence

- This is a really funny clip from the movie "My Cousin Vinny," with Joe Pesci. Here, "Vinny" is admonished by the judge to dress "lawyerly." In the next part, the judge asks Vinny what a "yoot" is. Cannot post more without UA-cam being forced to take it down from Copyright. I highly recommend the movie.
😂😂😂 The country accent in that judge's voice gets me every single time! LOL
It sounds like the same accent his movie character, Jud Crandall, had in Pet Sematary. (1989)
So funny. The relationship between Vinny and the judge is hysterical.
I always thought that too. The way he says Gambini. Southern traditional guy versus slick talking New Yorker
That's Fred Gwynne, the first Herman Munster.
And they were very good friends in real life too.
What else would you expect from 2 legendary actors?
Youts
Fred Gwynn at the very least should have been nominated for a best supporting actor for his performance.
This and Pet Sematary. 💗
No
I agree - Gwynn was excellent and should have won
@@ssnoc no
Agreed
The casting for this movie was absolutely perfect...they could not have done a better job.
From Fred Gwynne, to Marisa Tomei, to Joe Pesci and everyone else, they were a perfect fit for the roles. A great movie...one of the best comedies ever made.
Agreed 100%!!!!!
As well as one of the most accurate portrayals of criminal procedure.
fred gwynne's last movie
Including the two yoots!
@@arjunnair6023 Two what?
The look on the judges face when Vinny says "the two defendants" and side eyes him kills me everytime
Hahahaha
"THE TWO UTES? WHAT ARE UTES?''..HAHAHAHAA!!
Now Mrs Riley, and ONLY Mrs Riley... LOL.

A timeless classic that we watch at least once a year till this day!!!👏👏👏
"Don't shake your head yet, I'm not done"😅
“What is a yoot?” Still makes me laugh out loud.😂
The comic timing between Pesci and Gwyne is classic
Yes, it reminds me of Paul Newman and Strother Martin in Cool Hand Luke...classic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i'd rank this as one of the funniest movies of all time!
yo...jersey girl here.....Pesci and Tomei were flippin' awesome in this!
He'll always be known as "Herman Muster" to me.
It was a great role and he played it exceptionally well.
I love that judge xD 'Two hwhat?" And his expression when Vinny says 'defendants' and gives him a look is hilarious!
"You will look Lawyerly".....I STILL laugh at that.....Fred Gwynne simply owned his character!
and that suit,,better be made from some sort of cloth
@@ARCSTREAMS I find it funny on how he says "cloth." I laugh everytime i hear him say that.
@@dudetocartman yeah lol great movie
And I mean get your combed wear suit and tie!
Gwynne was awsome..."the two whaaaaat?"
One of the best comedies of all time. Joe Pesci, Fred Gwynne, and Marisa Tomei make a delicious mixture of characters in a hilarious story! A DIAMOND GEM!
This will always be one of the funniest classics I love to watch.
Judge: "What are you wearing"?
Gambini: "I'm ah wearing ah Clothes"
"What is a Yoot?" My favorite line in this movie! I can relate as we now live in Texas, I always get odd looks whenever Texans hear my New Jersey/New York accent. LOL.
An underrated gem. Great comedic acting top to bottom.
I grew up with car 54 and the Munsters. Loved everything Fred acted in, and enjoyed the documentary about his life. He seemed like a nice guy, and was a very talented actor and artist. His family must be very proud of him
The 2 utes cracks me up every time. Pesci and Gwyne played off each other beautifully
Streetwise Italian guy from Brooklyn vs Good Ole Boys!! This absolutely ingenious!!
Lol "But he told me to sit here."
“You will look...LAWYERLY.” 🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣 I always laugh at that line
The emphasizing of the word _clooothe_ too
It took a long time for Vinny to remember that he wasn’t a New York attorney in NY, but a New York attorney in the South. He had to straighten up and prove that he was as versatile as he was dynamic. This was a good movie.
Correction. This IS a great movie.
I doubt NYC judges would allow attorneys to dress in leather jackets with no tie
I love this movie. I laugh when Vinny hears the owl and grabs the gun and acts like he doesn't know how to use it, after all the gangster movies he has been in 😅.
"What is a yoot?" LOL Fred rocks this scene.
I believe it was improvised by Fred Gwynn!
Vinny did that on purpose to establish with the judge that he might mishear things due to his accent. Vinny knew the name he gave was blown and needed a possible reason for a different name
@@danbev8542 Yes and no. During a test shoot, the director, who was British, asked Joe "Two what?" in response to the yute line. Quickly, Joe corrected it and carried on, making for a good character joke in the script.
Yeaaah 2 Yoots! LOL
This movie falls into classic category. One of the best. I've watched it twice. And can watch it again.
Fred Gwynne, whilst he will quite rightly be remembered as Herman Munster, stole this film, and that's no mean feat considering the talent involved. His comic timing is perfect.
"don't shake your head I'm not done yet". lol
The judge cracks me up ...so funny
He is a hoot, I agree! The antics between him and Vinny are among the best parts of the movie.
You crack me up! :)
Anna Guz AKA Herman Munster 😂😂😂
@@babymammoth34 yesss
Herman Munster 😂
Only Pesci and Gwynn could make the one single word "defendants" funny enough to laugh at until you cry
Thank you Mr. Gwynn for all those wonderful moments watching you in The Munsters in spanish in Mexico back in the 80s when I was a kid.
As a Lawyer, I love this scene!!!
My favorite Courtroom movie, as a lawyer as well.
I must have watched this movie over 10 times...one of the funniest classics ever...thanks
My cousin Vinny Judge Hallar! Next time you come in my courtroom you need to dress lawyerly! 😂
No movie has ever even come close in making me laugh as much as this movie did
WHAT IS A YUTE?. THAT ONE KILLS ME EVERYTIME 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🌿🤣🌿🤣🌿🤣🌿🤣🌿🤣🤣🤣✌️
Fred plays this to perfection.
0:22 what are you wearing? I'm uh....wearing clothes." 😂😂😂😂
"Well he told me to sit here."
"I apologize sir, but this is how I dress."
Lovely responses, always make me laugh.
"Dont sit in that chair and talk to me!" "Hey, he told me to sit here!"
Don’t shake ya head I’m It done yet 😂😂😂😂😂
Fred Gwynne was fantastic as the judge. Everyone remembers Herman Munster, but no one remember him in his big and small screen appearances other than as Human Munster. When he passed, we lost a great actor.
Not gonna lie, I had to look up Herman Munster. I only knew the judge guy from Ironweed and Pet Sematary
Fred Gwyne was fantastic in this movie, stole many scenes.
I burst out laughing when he said "...cloth"
@@NotQuiteFirst "I don't even wanna hear you clear your throat."
@@dnasty312 Not Guilty.
What I like is that the Judge isn’t mean he’s just doing his job.
I watch this movie just to see the judge Fred Gwynne and laugh its sad to know that this was his last movie.
Yes, but it was his best movie..He went out on top of his game....
My friend told a friend of hers that I have watched this movie 1000 times. I watch it every time it's on, maybe not 1000 but pretty close 😅
Nobody could have played that part like Pesci did.
Fred Gwynne should have gotten a best supporting actor for this role!
Fred gwen was awesome in this film. Great actor at his best
Yes top class
For sure ! He passed away a year later. What a shame
He ruled this character. Southern judge. Lol. Dude nailed it!!
A " ute " is what Australians & New Zealanders call a pickup truck ❗🤣
"Don't shake your head; I'm not done yet."
ROFL!! XD
I never understood how good an actor Fred Gwynne is. I stand corrected.
“What is a yout”? One of the best lines ever.
this movie deserves every award in the industry
Very funny movie...a classic
RIP Judge, Mr. Tipton, Mr. Wilbur (expert witness) and Mrs. Riley (and only Mrs. Riley)
I LOVED Mrs Riley! Beautifully played. She could so easily have been the standard doddering old fool, but she’s not. She’s not a stupid woman, she just needs stronger glasses.

@@Bandomeme I really like Big Round Glasses. They're so Unique.🥰👓
In his defence, the leather jacket looks good ! Wish I had one like that !
"Two hwat?" Gets me laughing every time.
Gosh Marisa Tomei is so gorgeous
Call her
She surely is..
Call her like George Constanza did
hell yeah
Marisa Tomei is Aunt May from Spiderman / Tom Holland
The two yoots(youths) is always my favorite line,so hilarious 😆😆
The PERFECT movie........and Marisa Tomei is a LIVING DOLL!
Marisa Tomei still looks good. Joe Pesci has aged, though.
i can just imagine the laughs they all had making this movie!
A great linguistic parody of the American South and the New York City persona.
I LOVE THIS MOVIE. UNBELIEVABLE FUNNY. SEEN IT SO MANY TIME AND STILL CRACKS ME UP.
This is one of the funniest movies ive ever seen
This movie ages like fine wine!
Fred Gwynne was perfect, Marisa Tomei was perfect, Joe Pesci was perfect! Great movie!
RIP Fred Gwynne. Perfect for the part.
one of the best lines in the movie, WHAT'S A YOUT? LMFAO
I'm 64 and this is one of the absolute best and clever movies ever!!!!! I can just watch it over and over and over and never get tired of it. And they all were brilliant, especially Marisa on the stand, omg,
Just a damn good movie. Every time I am going into court I have to watch it the night before.
The judges facial expression after vinny eyed him saying the two defendants...
I have this dvd and I still search for these clips. Easily top 3 all time favorite comedies.
Classic movie never gets old
Fred Gwynn looks like a real Judge
Loved him as Herman Munster. He is a legend. R I P Mr Gwynn.
WOW have you notice the Pesci's eye glance at 1:43...after the arguing with the judge about "two yutes" and "two youths" Pesci has change the question construction: Is it possible, the two deffendants...PRICELESS !!
I've watched it thrice and I'd watch it again, hilarious.
Queenslander.
Those actors deserved an award for outstanding performance in this movie
"Uh...... Everything that guy just said is bull-shit!".
(**Jury gasps in shock.**.).
"Thank you...".
Fred Gwynne deserved a Oscar.
The reactions from the judge and the jury(when shown) always make me laugh in this movie 😂
“YUTES” gets me every time!
"Did you say 'yute'?" Great stuff!
I have *got* to watch this fantastic movie again!
Judge: What are you wearing?
Vinny: Huh?
Judge: (Repeats) What are you wearing?
Vinny: I’m uh wearing uh, clothes....I don’t get the question.
When you come into my court looking like you do.. you not only insult me. But you insult the integrity of this court.
Oh, uh... I'm sorry, your honor. But this is how I dress.
@@maogu1999 Next time you come into my courtroom, you will look 'lawyerly.' And I mean you comb your hair. And wear a suit and tie. And that _suit_ better be made out of some... *cloth.* You understand me?
Judge to Vinny: What're You Wear'n??" Too funny
When talking to the Court you rise lol...
And speak in a clear intelligible voice.
Pesci was so scary in Good Fellas, and Casino. But this movie, he just kills me.
Never get tired of watching this movie
Can you please tell me the name of this movie?
"These two yoots"......if you come from Brooklyn, you can really get the jist of that line.....lol
Dublin works too
The most hilarious and unbelievable thing about this clip from this movie is: there is a still shot of Fred Guin, as the judge, above the exit to a football field. And the home team sees it as they run by. This is in reference to the University of Utah, “Runnin’ Utes! I’m sure that scene got a few chuckles in most of the country; but theaters exploded in laughter in Salt Lake City!
Don't shake your head, I'm not done yet. Wait 'til you hear the whole thing.
So you can understand this now
😂😂😂
Ting
Fred Gwynne's expression at 1:43 is priceless.
What is a ute? 🤣🤣🤣 priceless!
R.I.P. Fred Gwyne
Rip
❤ Herman muster lives forever on youtube
Joe pesci is way to underrated he is a great actor
One of the funniest sequences EVER!!
Vinny says to the judge "I'm done with this guy"😊
“Two HWAT”?
:) That's the southern way to say it!
thank you for the "h" in front.
Two hwat?
What a classic! Love this movie!
"What is a 'yute'?" 😆😂🤣 it was said that this really happened during a rehearsal. Pesci's thick Brooklyn accent pronunciation of "yutes" was misunderstood. It was so funny, they decided to write it into the script.
