Putting a "Rattlesnake" on Conan's desk at the 13:05 mark, was "funny", and very "dangerous"!
I would have never stayed seated being this close to one. I am from the South where Rattlers are plentiful. I totally respect them at all times. They love to bite just for fun. What most people don't realize is to stay calm! WEAR a knee high set of Snake Bite Proof Rubber Boots as the Rattlesnake cannot bite near your knee area. Usually they bite a few inches above your ankles and lower. DON'T FALL down! The same goes for Cottonmouths, Copperheads and most other poisonous snakes.
Yes, this is my favorite part of this video.
PS: Then right after the Rattlesnake take, they bring out a Kangaroo out, and it happens to be the middle of their mating season!!!! These animals will hurt you badly! Poor Conan!
"Chairman of the BORED" hands down. When Conan says "do something with that you freak" Norm comes back immediately with that line - quickest mind in the west.
Out of all of those Robin Williams was the only one that made me actually lol.

Norm never fails to make me laugh. I was lucky to see him do stand up & he was absolutely hysterical.

The part with Lindsay Lohan and David Letterman wasn't funny at all. Disrespectful aganist her to put in softly.
Letterman is an alcoholic IIRC, so it’s possible he was trying to do something positive there, but who knows.
Garden of Eden rehab places cost $30k, and there's no guarantee of success. Calling Lindsay out on camera was something they hadn't tried.

Already clicked the like button and have been enjoying this a lot, yet am super disappointed in the inclusion of a segment that isn't funny *at all* (let alone one of the "funniest moments in talk show history"). It doesn't matter that your narration acknowledged the awkward aspect, and it doesn't help either. It was one of his worst behaviors. I love and respect the man, but in his wisdom now, he himself has spoken about how he regrets some of his conduct in interviews --and I don't doubt in the least that this is a prime example of one of those events he'd do differently if he could have a re-do. It's sad and uncomfortable and brutal when Dave persists while Lindsey Lohan handles his rude and cruel farce with extraordinary patience, difficultly managed dignity and grace, although it must have felt very demeaning and disrespectful.
I think pretty much all of these would have paled to Johnny Carson clips

The best Carson clips are when Buddy Rich {you know, the world famous drummer} was a guest. Johnny Carson was a drummer so it was a different kind of connection going on. That said, Buddy had a very centered mind set ~ himself ~ so I didn't find him so funny; nor did I appreciate the way he "carried himself"on camera. Dragging a dead horse a bit further thru a ghost town now I actually prefer Craig Ferguson. The show didn't knock it out of the park all the time that's for sure. Especially having read his autobiography, what a great thing to read about. I strongly encourage people to put it on their nightstand sometime. He's lived quite a interesting life, the road to late late show talk host, how do these these happen. Gave me more respect for Craig than I can express. And he said to a guest (singer for the band Garbage, but whatever) "I have special powers and you know why? I'm an American." Blew me away as you could tell he wasn't trying to goof on America. Have you seen his tattoos? Where he has them so he can show people with ease? Something else
I've never liked Conan's style so much but there's funny stuff going on just the same. I certainly enjoyed this compilation and watched it til the end. I perceive the people who own this channel are decent and making an attempt to crack that nut and manifest the American Dream, if only for their own 15 minutes of quiet fame. I wish them luck and hope they and you see some dreams come true. See you on the other side......
