Would a marble work as a substitute, in the same way as the "medal" ball bearing, as a core of the knuckle roller?

Really glad to hear you say that! I've found that just describing what's happening on camera, while useful, just isn't as engaging. I do my best to make what's happening on screen apparent without verbal instruction that way it frees up the voiceover to talk about something interesting or useful. Thanks for the comment and checking the video out!

Cool! And it is a nice giveaway. Todays suggestion: a cap for your soda, or beer or whatever. You open a can of energydrink, let's say. And you only want half. The bus is still a long way away and you want to put your can back in your backpack. If you only could plug the hole with sth? You think of your paracord. Can you make a knot that fits snuggly into your can? Food for thought. Or drink for knot? Or . Anyway, great upload thx!

For sure, these would all make great stocking stuffers for the upcoming Christmas season. Ohh... and interesting idea. I wonder how that would work seeing as how paracord is absorbent. I'll have to think about that one, but thank you for the suggestion!

I’ve been trying the same thing the last few weeks. Instead of sitting around watching UA-cam or Netflix I’ve been creating more things out of Paracord. I found that if I do something creative early in the evening, I get a really good night’s sleep!

    • @TheWeaversofEternity

Awesome to hear that! And yes, making things and doing creative things with your hands is great for this. Much more satisfying in the end than just zoning out to UA-cam or Netflix. Nothing wrong with watching stuff here and there, but changing it up and making something is much better for the brain!

I would also suggest making a thumb ring out of micro cord. I have one of these on me at work every day. I use it in the same way that this knuckle roller is being used except for I can conveniently keep it on my thumb when I’m working, and when I take a break, I can slide it off my thumb and pass it from finger to finger, and then when I’m done, I can slide it right back onto that same thumb when I’m done fidgeting.

It’s an accoutrement, just like Kendama, Begleri, juggling balls, juggling clubs, et cetera. I consider them all to be accoutrements of their respective artistic discipline. It is my opinion that the word “toy” is used to diminish, discount, stifle the imagination and creativity of children. First, comes the conditioning, then comes the control. The control part is what happens when an adult’s maturation of emotional intelligence is no longer part of humanity as a collective. It is imperative to balance one’s Divine feminine energy and, one’s masculine energy. Yes, we all have feminine and masculine energy. Thank you for your compassionate, empathetic, and loving content! Love trumps cruelty and hate! And, yes, the pun is intentional!
