Thanks for saying "occlude"! Such a great word. I have a bike with some very abrasive grips, so I used a West country whipping to wrap the grips in paracord. Much more comfy, now.
Great video and as always thank you. May i add one thing? So far I i have not seen you mention "survival paracord" it has all the same features as 550 paracord but with a *fire starter cord, *25lbs mono filament fishing line and a *30awg steel snare wire embedded with it. *cotton thread There are variants with different inserts, some have all or just a couple depending on your needs/wants Just a thought if you wanted to "upgrade your upgrades"
@@KevinSmith-yh6tlnope… weaves quite nicely! I love it… but it’s a little pricey so it’s not something I use to make just everyday bracelets… I do make all of my "survival" bracelets out of it though… they come with a ferrous rod, whistle and a mini-compass… with the addition of the survival paracord, you got yourself a little bit of items you might need in a survival situation!!!
@@KevinSmith-yh6tl no problem :) it’s good stuff! I make these little, survival bracelets for my scouts… especially the new ones we get when the Webelos cross over after their Arrow of Light ceremony… it’s a neat way to welcome them into our troop!
Thank you for not getting tired of sharing knowledge, did you know that there is no video on UA-cam on how to join 2 backpack straps in case the plastic connector has broken? It can happen to all of us but since we always bring paracord we can solve it, do you teach us how? I'm sorry I can't share any images of what I'm talking about, but I know that you will have a backpack in which you can see what I'm talking about. I thank you in advance for your support. Greetings
I’ve been adding zipper pull silencers to my bags for years and always get compliments especially when I replaced the lazy zipper pulls that were gutted paracord with an overhand knot from the manufacturer that silenced nothing and provided no leverage to opening the zipper. I had to take a rifle to a gunsmith lately and I transported it a soft gun bag that I added zipper pull silencers to and the gunsmith immediately noticed them and gave me compliments saying he hasn’t seen that from others since his Army Ranger days. I put ten cobra stitches in a Solomon bar zipper pull silencer. It’s the perfect length to grab onto and provides the right amount of leverage.
That one is from Notorious EDC, site here: notoriousedc.com/pages/pouches They're sold in drops, so you'll have to wait for the next one and they go fast unfortunately!
@@TheWeaversofEternitygot a v2 in xpac, sold it and went back to v1, to me the cordura v1 sits better on body and waist. The tuck in strap design for v2 and convert it as a tech pouch when carry in a backpack is sweet though 🤗
I don't, but you can get the beads here: www.griffincompany.ca/civilian-and-reload-beads The one I have is the full sized bead, but that one is currently sold out, they do have the mini sized one though.
Haha, I don't disagree, although the red does match the patches on the outside a bit. I have always wanted one of those lighter covers though. Perhaps in titanium or something fancy.

Wouldn't that be harder to weave into say,a bracelet or fob of some kind?
Not criticism,just an observation. 👍

Thanks for the education about that type of paracord.
Much appreciated. 👍

I have some of that stuff! It's pretty neat, definitely a worthy addition!
Excellent. I might give the key keeper a go. Bravo, thanks.
Thanks, have fun if you do!
The quick unravel bracelet was super easy to make, thank you! So convenient and handy to carry.

ua-cam.com/video/woHwISR4bBc/v-deo.html would this be somewhat close to what you’re looking for?
That double snake knot looked ace! Not seen that as a finish before.
Glad you liked it! It's becoming my new favorite stopper knot. As much as I love the diamond knot, the double snake knot is so much faster and easier!

It's always fun and practical to customize your kit with paracord for sure!
The pouch looks neat, where did u get it from?
Thanks for the video
You're welcome!

Gratitud.
Thank you!
city sling has been a nice standard carry size for years which always make me go back to it, much prefer city sling v1 though.
Any particular reason why you like the v1 over the v2?

Great video! Curious what knife you had? It was all black

What is the link to buy the black lighter you use to singe stuff in this video?
Never fails to impress! Nice work Tim :)
Aw shucks... thank you Holly! :)

I plan to in the future!

yusssss....
It's a purse.
3 of 5 tips is just "Tie a paracord to smth", this is stupid
Go elsewhere then?
...just a minor, itsy, bitsy, thing...beautiful pouch setup, but, the obnoxious RED lighter....a black lighter maybe or a lighter cover.
