The guy at Market Square Liquors is the absolute man. I've bought several picks and they know their stuff. He will literally stand there and talk to you about bourbon all day. He damn near sold me 3 bottles in 25 minutes one day.😂 Their Russell's Private Barrel Pick is incredible.
Redwoods starting to give out some store picks. Really looking forward to seeing those. Local shop by me picked an 8 yr high rye in the high 120’s proof wise about a month ago from them.
Scored the Russell's 15 here in Central Florida for MSRP this past Saturday. Had a pour Sunday night with friends and it has to be one of the best I've tasted so far.
Thanks Hunter, tuned into your UA-cam vid as you were checking out the whiskey from The Mitten State. I heard the same pronunciation from a radio DJ in Georgia years ago & chuckled. FYI TC is pronounced Tra vrs City ... Cherry Capitol of MI, great town and a great area of Michigan...4 seasons fun! Wine country, but folks are also getting into making spirits.
Update from Pensacola: found a Russell's Reserve 15 on a back shelf at a small store. Same place had a lone dusty Peerless Double Oak and a BT Kosher on the shelf. So treasures can be found in Pensy.
I had it at the distillery. It was great. Home a week when the state did a drop of it. Grabbed a bottle. Nothing like what I had at the distillery. Friend grabbed 2 and cracked one at my place so we could compare. His is like what I had at the distillery. His has fruit jammy nose and fruity palate. Mine is spicy wood. No fruit, just bite. Our laser codes are close to each other and indicate they were bottled on the same date, just one a bit earlier/later than the other. Another friend's has a different code yet tastes like the good bottle.
Probably wont ever see a Russell's 15, still looking for a 13 !! So I'm gunna sit here with my Eagle Rare and sip it and enjoy your video... And that pour of Parkers Heritage for $50 was worth it if its really $1299 a bottle !! no way would you get 26 pours like that out of 750ml !! 🥃🕶
Personally would've got the four roses and the willet pick. Those are always solid and one of a kind pours! You'll see the elijah craig start to pop up more often soon enough and the 1792 12yr is a let down, cool to have in the collection but its just never as good as you think it'll be! happy hunting!
Market Street Liquor has become my 'go to' here in Tallahassee. Pretty sure I picked up my ECBP B524 and Larceny B524 a few hours after you were there. Alex is the man.
My BT brother dropping bombs. Great seeing you on vid Kris. If Hunter only knew how much you really know 😂 Nice seeing the 1792s back in stores. The BiB and FP always around now. Store had the SiB, Sweet Wheat and Twelve on shelves but was an hour away so didn’t bother. But would have loved to have gotten some backups.
There are to many great whiskies in the market, that you should not have to pay mark up prices on any allocated bottles. We saw a lot of great store picks today and everyday shelf bottles that will deliver greatness at a decent price. Great whiskey journey.
$179.99 for Blue Spot is pretty cool. MSRP used to be around that price last year. It recently went up to just under $300 earlier this year, and I am still regretting not buying it back when the prices were abit less steep
Awesome you can to tally. Thats my stomping grounds. Dude at market liquor is awesome. Great selection there and very knowledgeable staff. He sold me on a micthers sour mash last week and he was spot on.
Cheers, its cool to see you stopping in Tallahassee, ive heard alot of good things about market square liquors. I just started getting into bourbon im going to have to check them out.
Just saw one this afternoon. They were asking $499. They will usually take some $ off if I ask. I passed. I've purchased several 13's from them for $200 each.
Capital Liqours had some pretty high prices I am going to guess that was in an affluent part of Tallahassee. The OF seemed to be about $10-15 over MSRP for easy to find bottles.
Awesome vid sir! More jealous of the Pensacola beach trip than the bottles but I have been looking for the 12 yr 1792 to complete the set lol. If I visit Charleston anytime I want you to take me huntin!
SERIOUSLY…..starlight cigar batch amburana is insane , not too sweet like most, but still plenty of CTcrunch note with a beautiful tobacco note to round it out
What happened to the content from Iowa? I saw a video or two building up that you were doing a barrel pic or some thing and then nothing, unless I just missed it??
That second store had some nice stuff but $295 for a 7 year willett rye pick? Nah dawg, the regular Willett Ryes don't even sell in my area for $50. Those are only 4 years but 6x the price for 3 more years? No way. KC 10 year Rye is like $55-60. Willett Prices on their picks are just stupid. I don't blame the store, I blame Willett. I'm grabbing a case of Knob Creek 10, Bulleit 12, or 13th Colony Rye before I buy a Willett 7 year rye.
Thanks Hunter lol I wasn't expecting to be in the video so much. Enjoyed the time man. Can't wait for you to visit again.
You stole the show my man! Love the passion! Keep it up 🤙🏼🥃
@@Bourbon_Hunter no stealing here, just excited you were in Tallahassee and we got some great bottles and shared a fantastic pour.

Saw a Russell’s 15 for $368 today, bought an $11 bottle of Benchmark bonded instead 😂
I like your taste
This is the way
You should have bought it for $368. All day everyday
@@MichaelR-bz8ci imagine typing this LOL.
You're HIM. You're THAT GUY!
I saw a Russell's 15 for $234.99 and yes it came home with me. 😊
Heck yeah! Thats a buy everyday!
MSRP is 250 so idk what happened with that store owners check list
I’m happy with my Russels 10 for $33. Haven’t seen a 15 in person yet.
Thank you so much for coming out Hunter! You are welcome anytime, we loved having you!
Thanks again! Keep up the good work 🥃
Redwoods starting to give out some store picks. Really looking forward to seeing those. Local shop by me picked an 8 yr high rye in the high 120’s proof wise about a month ago from them.
I want a Redwood Empire BH pick
Scored the Russell's 15 here in Central Florida for MSRP this past Saturday. Had a pour Sunday night with friends and it has to be one of the best I've tasted so far.
Is it near Orlando?
AMAZING!! Where at? looking for nice bottles on Central FL
I got my Russels 15 here in Colorado Springs for $260 out the door. And I got to sample it in the store just to lock me in!
LUCKY!

That 1792 12 yr was a nice buy! The 2023 Single Barrel is amazing!
Another hitter! Awesome stuff!
Also, our little TX group confirmed OGD 114 is still going strong. A friend called the distillery to confirm
Great video! Thanks for stopping by Market Square. Come see us again on your next trip through. Who knows what we might have for you to try then!

This video makes you want to get in the car and head to Tallahassee. Great video and that liquor store was amazing.
It really is a great store!

29:25 I thought I was the only one who said “and twice on Sunday” that’s awesome. Love the videos.
Heck yeah! Love that phrase cheers! 🥃

Another great video. Just picked up a bottle of the Elijah Craig B524 from S&W liquors and can’t wait to try it. Cheers.
Another banger of a video Hunter. Love seeing you and Drew out there hunting for us all. Those pours had to be damn incredible 😲
Those pours had me on cloud 9 the rest of the day!
Great video, Hunter! Loved the positive vibes at that last store, and I'm always down for a stop at Pooler Package when I'm in the area. Cheers!
Most definitely! JEDIII

Nice grab with the 1792 12 yr! Pretty sweet looking spots down there in Florida. Keep the awesome hunt vids coming @bourbonhunter!
Thanks! Will do!

Sounds great! Thank you for watching!
Had a ton of fun, felt good to be back hunting again 🥃
We did plenty of it too 😂
That 4 Roses pick at MSL is phenomenal.
I really liked it but happy I held out! I have a few already
Russell's 15 worth 400. May be best I've ever had
I passed on that 1792 12 year around January and still regretting it. I picked knob 12 instead 😮
Great video Hunter! 295 🦌on the Willett rye is slightly too salty! Great bottle though, don’t sleep on it!
The Russ 15 is more like $500 by the Ny/NJ area minimum! 😅
I found Russell's 15 for $599 on Saturday. I passed on it for that price.
At least you got to see one! But the only reason you saw it is BECAUSE $600, so catch 22.
Just saw one this afternoon. They were asking $499. They will usually take some $ off if I ask. I passed. I've purchased several 13's from them for $200 each.
Russell's should have made a custom bottle for the 15 similar to the wild turkey Master's Keep
That woulda been so cool!
I bought Russell's 15 at the distillery for 250 . I was so excited, but I've got to say the Russell's 13 was better.
Bold Statement to leave here in the comments 🫡 I wish you luck 😂
Love how conversation and nice you are with staff 🙏 ✝️
Peace and love brother!
That Soft Red Wheat Rickhouse was a buy
Amen !
Store pick barrel strength FR is a buy all day esp at that price - doesn't matter the recipe. Amazing juice.
Hunter Awesome video you have lots of fun enjoy watching .... Thanks
Thanks for watching!
That Elijah Craig B524 is so good.
Best video yet. You may have to start taking a designated driver on your hunts. Hope you're having a ball in FLA!.
The Breckenridge Rum Cask is worth picking up. Cheers 🥃
That is one hell of a start to your trip!
It only gets better! 🤙🏼🥃
You have to get the Breckenridge finished whiskey! It is hands down the best old fashioned you will ever make!
Thanks brother!

That 4 roses is a must buy for me if I ran across one 😬👍😉🥃 Cheers
Should check out Navarre Liquors in Navarre beach. Like 25 minutes east of Pensacola. It’s where the Tiger king use to shop
The ole King de Tigré
He should've come home with the Four Roses BP after gwtting the 12yr 1792. Dude was doing you a solid and looking to get rewarded.
Doc Swinson's Bossa Nova is the BEST Amburana finish. Tastes like Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
Ive never had it! You’ve peaked my interest
I got a OBSF pick from white hall spirits from wv. 10year 7months. Have yet to try it. The tasting spot needs some glens.
Very Olde Saint Nick puts out really good product
so cool Andy Milonakis is selling whiskey now.
What a friggin honey hole! Really awesome stuff! Cheers 🍻
The very old saint Nick summer harvest is so good... Blueberry honey hints!
The KY Spirit. Was the best you passed on if it was CN-E or F… absolute banger… probably Single Rickhouse
1792 12 Year is absolutely worth $100. Better than 95% of bottles that go for $100-$120
Barrell Mizunara Cask FInish was phenomenal IMO
another fantastic video. thanks man.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Grizzley Beast is my favorite redwood empire I have. Absolutely delicious
I need to buy one next time I see one
SERIOUSLY…..starlight cigar batch amburana is insane , not too sweet like most, but still plenty of CTcrunch note with a beautiful tobacco note to round it out
Awesome video, I need to head to Florida!!
I wish I was still there!
Was that a barrel proof eh Taylor for $99 and you didn't get it? Was it points system?
If you look closely there's a 4 before the two 9's.
The price tag said 499.99, the 4 was faded.
Yeah it was $499
Hard no at $499
🤮
You were in my stomping grounds of Pcola. I bet you found some cool stuff with Riley showing you around. And Go Noles lol
Russell's Reserve 10 yr small batch, always affordable and tasty.
So good!
Where you going in Pensy? I’m actually flying up for work in the general area tomorrow and always do a little hunting when out in new areas.
Just opened my EC Barrel Proof it's crazy spicy up front but has a great finish
EHT BP had a faded 4
It really was 499
Fun video!
Thank you for watching!
Absolutely can’t go wrong with Ben Holladay.
Never cared for Russel’s, even though I’m a wild Turkey fan. Love the videos.
Thank you! 🤙🏼🥃
Love your content bro…. Alwsy have unique finds
Much appreciated! Thank you for watching 🤙🏼🥃
that toasted hawaiian honey finish sounds amazing
I love it tbh wish I had a back up
16:15…”do you come here often?” I thought that was about to take a much different turn lol
Who knows maybe thats my pick up line for Bourbon Nerds
Great video again!
Odd colony and emerald republic are awesome breweries in Pensacola I highly recommend
wish i would have known you were going to be here in tallahassee...market square is awesome
Damn! Great channel!! New sub here.
Very generous pours. Whish that place was in my town
Same! I can’t wait to go back!
Can’t wait to hear what you think about the Elijah Craig
That 12yr 1792 is so good
I agree! Only for the right price tho!
$100 barrel proof eh Taylor is an instant buy
It was $499.... lol i also thought it was $99. Pause it at 10:48
Some solid pours🎉
Very solid indeed! 🥃
Traver city Michigan. The S is silent.
Ive never been great at spelling and pronunciation
No, it's not. But it's TRA-verse City, not Truh-VERSE City, like he said.
Would love to see you drink and review
I passed on the 1792 12 year for the sweet wheat instead
Don't overlook redwood empire bottles. Great stuff
Hunter - when are you gonna give us your college football prediction for your Gamecocks? Looking forward to this season!
Ouhhhh yes! I need to sit down and do some predictions and let yall know
What happened to the content from Iowa? I saw a video or two building up that you were doing a barrel pic or some thing and then nothing, unless I just missed it??
Sooooon 👀
I would’ve cleaned out all the four roses store picks
That second store had some nice stuff but $295 for a 7 year willett rye pick? Nah dawg, the regular Willett Ryes don't even sell in my area for $50. Those are only 4 years but 6x the price for 3 more years? No way. KC 10 year Rye is like $55-60.

I'm grabbing a case of Knob Creek 10, Bulleit 12, or 13th Colony Rye before I buy a Willett 7 year rye.
12:31 has anyone had a Jefferson Oceans pick? I’ve had some basic Jefferson’s not bad but not worth buying. Should I pop on a store pick if I see one?
Great video
Thank you! 🥃
Is 350 a good price for Russell 15? Also $200 for Knob Creek 18?. I think you got a KC18 for like 150?
$295 for a Willett Rye is some expensive mouthwash.
Guys if you haven't tried the Rabbit hole 4 grain your missing out
I need that Elijah C923
