Terrific info! Much appreciated. Brand new Zino owner/pilot. Struggled for three hours to get to the point the craft was ready to fly. Dang thing flew like a champ. My first time ever with anything like this and the plane did great. I was aware of the tendency of the craft to drop under forward acceleration, so I was able to avoid connecting with the ground. Couple questions... What is the purpose of "hitting the sticks?" Am I correct to assume that, when you hit the sticks, the plane will not fly off the pad? How do you change the password that I entered upon registering? The system will not recognize the pw that I entered and will not give me the option of changing it. I was, however, able to get around that and fly the plane for a full battery this evening. When I press the auto take-off/land button on the right, the plane flys off the pad and hovers at about 6'. When I press the auto take off again, I was under the impression that the plane would land. But, nothing happens. It just stays in hover mode. I was able to bring the plane directly down by pressing the land button on the left. Thx for your inputs on these items. BTW, just joined your FB group.

@@QCGUY : the new controller relates in the App that the Aircraft is disconnected?? But the old controller fires right up. The controller (in the App) shows "Bind" as "Not Connected".
@@QCGUY : In part yes. I had asked Hubsan why this process had to be done and I went back on my emails and found their response. That the controller was bound to the Zino signal from the factory and thus was unnecessary to do repeatedly. Once done it does not have to be done again. I tested it here and proved true. Once the initial signal is connected then repeated connections do not need this step. However I did see everyone do this step which rose the initial question to Hubsan upon its necessity. If I had always included this step in my power ups, I would not have had this issue. But happy to report... All the buttons on the replacement controller are functioning... Yay!! BTW... can't wait for your new unveiling channel :D
Seeing some people having issues with connection/binding aircraft especially to android phones. You need to power on the drone first, followed by the controller. The blue lights will flash,,NB You MUST wait until the lights go solid. Once this is done, then connect phone to controller. When I use my daughter's iphone, it connects in an instant and also gives the added benefit of searching for apron to land using it camera. A feature that doesn't seem available when connected to android device.

I am just setting my Hubsan Zino up and the app gives me this message "the tilt angle is too large The gimbal is under protection". What do I do? Thanks
Steve H Have you sorted this out? Could be dirt in the gimbal that needs blowing out or calibrating and worst case you have a bad servo.
I have that same problem the first time too, but my mistake was I didn’t take off the gimbal cover before powering on the drone, do I have to pull the battery out and power back on with the gimbal cover off and that solves the problem hope this helps
awesome videos my friend, ¿is possible use the zino controller with a bq aquaris 4.5? Im very interested in buy a zino but first I need know if is possible use it with my telephone.... regards and thanks
I know nothing about those phones and I'm sure Hubsan hasn't test that brand either. Sorry
@@QCGUY thanks :)
I have one husband zino but there is no controller to it I would like to ask if I can connect it with my phone 5G wifi on my Samsung galaxy s5 active, also I like to know if I can charge it with standard USB charger because it did not come with a charger.
desmond nsiah Resolved?
Noob here. Thanks. Just got my ZP today and I'm charging the batteries. How do you get 14k view and no Likes or Dislikes? I've noticed that on every video of your I've seen so far.
Bill Karoly I have it invisible because there was a period where a few kids in their 40’s 😂 liked to create 15 accounts and troll my channel then rack up on the thumbs down button.
The thumbs up and down still works but with the number out of sight makes it’s no fun so just like that it stopped.
do you recommend this drone?
lpt Yes if purchased under $300
I am having a problem getting my xperia XA2 android phone to connect. I get errors and no video signal. "The mobile phone is not properly connected to the transmitter" and "Error tethering". I have started and restarted over a 5 hour period and very occasionally it connects. Maybe 1 in 100. Any idea what I'm doing wrong. This is a new drone and I have been flying DJI for years.
Ronan O'Byrne Is this still a problem?
I just got the replacement controller from Hubsan. Any idea how to bind the new controller?
Gorilla Man Same way Im doing it here. I use one controller for both my ZINO quads.
@@QCGUY : the new controller relates in the App that the Aircraft is disconnected?? But the old controller fires right up. The controller (in the App) shows "Bind" as "Not Connected".
Eureka... I figured it out. You have to go into the controller settings and connect to the WiFi signal from the Drone. This only has to be done
once.
Gorilla Man Umm isn’t that what I did? 🤔
By any chance you still have old firmware of hubsan zino 1 im having problem with my drone thanks
I do
Could you make a video replacing the central body top and bottom of the zino? Thank you
Manuel Mendez I have to draw a line somewhere. lol
If I had to do all that I would buy a new one first when they sell as cheap as $235
Sorry 😐
Is this the same method for the Zino 2 ?
thelonehellyranger01 There’s similarities but differences as well. Not totally the same...

Captain, can I use non supported WiFi 5 ghz for Fvp?
Gunawan Rizqi Just to be clear what are you asking to use?
What non supported device?
@@QCGUYi Mean: i have 2,4 ghz WiFi smartphone.can i use it for FPv?
Gunawan Rizqi I don’t own anything less to tell you but I think if you’re connected to the controller it might be possible. I don’t know 100% 😐
Seeing some people having issues with connection/binding aircraft especially to android phones.
Yes great points! Following your steps is exactly how it should be done.
I bought a new controller for my hubsan zino, after the May 20 update the drone won't connect to anything, and the controller won't connect to my phone, how do I reverse the update?
desmond nsiah You don’t...you fix it.

Hi sir..need ur help my zino cant connect to the transmitter..it says the transmitter not connected properly..whats the prob? The cable are properly installed..thank you..hope u answer my question..
Does it show the game controller looking icon or the relay icon up top when it says it isn't connected?
There is a controller icon but it is not Binded..when i go to comtrol icon and press bind the controller to the mobile...it says the mobile is not connected properly to the transmitter..
FRAn'S Tv On your cables tx side you will see two raised nubs if that makes sense.
Cut them to match the rest of the surrounding area so it will plug into the controller a little further. Make sense??
I tried other phone. ..its connecting maybe the upgrade firmware of my mobile phone affects the signal..do you hve the idea how to donwgrade firmware vivo v9 phone? Thanks a lot
FRAn'S Tv No Sorry 😐

I have an android LG phone. I have tried to connect several times, following your steps above, but it will not connect. Does my cell need to have a hot spot selected or any special settings on my cell phone? Am trying to do this in my home first. Thanks
Problem solved, I think? I was setting this up in my basement. All my other devices, laptop, TV Roku and other wifi devices work fine in my basement, but had to go upstairs within 3 feet of the modem for this device to find the wifi signal and connect.
You don't use your home wifi to connect?
@@Northstar-Media I finally got everything working. Thanks
Hello! Big fan of this channel. I have a problem with my zino. I have updated to the latest flight control but when I try to do a hyperlapse it say to download the latest firmware on Android. On iOS, it says "please update the aircraft image software before using this function". How do I fix this?
Whonam It’s a piece they so far have left behind and not fixed yet.
@@QCGUY But there are videos of people doing a zino hyperlapse?

How do you fly Hubson Zino in headless mode?

Can I pair controller from zino mini pro with hubsan zino?
Negative 👎🏻

I know you have seen my posts in the last 6-7 months and you've been great in replying and helping me.Thank you. I'm trying to give the group as much as I receive. I hope I'm in the good so to speak. Anyhoo I'm seeing plenty of folks having my issue. The Zino will not emit a Wi-Fi signal. I don't have to tell you how bad of a problem this is. I've tried every trick in the book and I've probably started to become a problem child. What are your recent thoughts on why the Zino won't broadcast a Wi-Fi signal? I have loaded and reloaded all the latest firmware several times under different orders and so on but I'm grounded still. HELP!
James Jones Yes and I’m sorry you are going through hell with it. There are multiple reasons and many questions where UA-cam is a hard place to troubleshoot.
Now is bad timing as I’m not active on Facebook, UA-cam or anything hobby related.
A little burned out at the moment and going on vacation in a few days.
Message me and I will help when and however I can.
Why the screen image of the smartphone has a lot of delay in the image?, I meant in the transmission of video, blurred video image and image hangs in flight
Paulino Baena Im not sure if you’re explaining a problem with the quad and app or insulting me? 🤔
@@QCGUY Sorry I stumbled across English, I would never insult you, I mean there's a lot of image crashes during the flight, and that sluggishness and small image crashes increase when drone increases distance
@@paulinodrones6780 I didn't fully understand the first comment and was just joking with you. There are issues like that yes and a few others they need to get sorted out.

2:28- so right there- my transmitter will not do that. The LEDs just keep blinking forever and the transmitter will not connect to the drone.

I think, you most put the phone in Airplane mode. :)
You can but you don't have to. People do different things to what ever they believe is best.
Does this actually do anything? I am unable to connect to the drone with my phone in airplane mode.
This does not work with android phones like the Sony Xperia. Mine just will not bind. Joke.
James O Toole Some just don’t work. I can’t say right off what works best but I saw your post in the group so you’re in good hands. 👍
