She is like an old-fashioned homerun hitter in baseball…lots of strikeouts, but when she connects and is on her game…she hits so many homers/winners… would be awesome to see her put it all together and win her second major after winning the French Open so many years ago as a teenager I think.

That's right... As I said yesterday, Putintseva could have won against Ostapenko because the victory against Swiatek was because the Polish played really badly. I thought Putintseva could only make it to the quarterfinals, but she went out first.
29 out of 49 points Yulia made came from Ostapenko's UE. To put it simply, she never posed a threat to Aljona with the way she played today, as Aljona is her own biggest enemy
