I said before ..Putintseva has the craftiness, shot versatility and her drop shots are very well disguised. She has improved on her fitness and control of her anger/ emotional. Believing in herself and the mental, peace of mind to execute the right shot at the right time. Unless you have very powerful A game like Elena Rybakina ( I doubt she ever use her B game plan) then it's good to have the versatility to execute plan B.
A wonder if Pro coaches do that to their players. It works well with ladies bec. a smart switch in game plan can just finished the game in 3 sets not givng opponent time to adjust.
Iga does not have a plan B ...she was shook by yulias variety and never recovered

Gave a different attack and style, Iga found it so peculiar, and did not right away adjust to Yulia s way of playing,
It paid off.

Putintseva played like Barty unpredictable, fearless and committed and left Iga in dazed not knowing what to do when the opponent played unpredictable type of tennis and never adjusted. This is why she never can predict Ashley style of game and never won against her. Congrats Yulia!!!!

Nie można nic osiągnąć na prestiżowym Wimbledonie, bez specjalnego przygotowania na trawie. Tutaj jest potrzebny spryt, technika, a siła ma znaczenie drugorzędne. Trening to baza, ale bez należytego potraktowania tej znakomitej tenisowej imprezy, nigdy nic z tego nie będzie, jak w przypadku Świątek i Hurkacza. W przypadku Igi, cały sztab co roku o tej porze popełnia te same błędy, naprawiając dziwnymi i kolejnymi błędami. Radwańska potrafiła grać na trawie, na mączce grała słabo, a tu mamy odwrotność sytuacji. Dopóki Świątek i jej cały sztab nie potraktują Wimbledonu, jako celu głównego sezonu, kosztem innych imprez, to na tenisową ucztę w Londynie będziemy musieli poczekać jakiś czas...
