Thank you to the Australian Open for giving us highlights like no one else! Show this to anyone who calls women's tennis boring
It's not as intense and fast as men's tennis, but it's not boring.
Except the game of Grigor Dimitrov which was banned.Fucking Aussie nation of ex convict.
It's not that it's necessarily boring, it's that it's boring relative to the men's game. If you have a choice between watching men's tennis and women's tennis, you watch men's tennis.
Nah. The fun in the women's game are the upsets and the drama.
These are the kinda comments that made women's tennis boring...too sexist
The point at 17-18 was absolute incredible defense by Blinkova. Amazing resilience!
The last Annas ball hits to out, so so pity, Elena tries to fight it...Maybe of a big stress.
17-18 is unforgetable ))
Think that was the turning point for her! Amazing resilience!
We just witnessed one of the most breath-taking tiebreaks of all time💥what a banger
Aussie open is just amazing this year
Greatest tie breaker ever
I can never believe it when she loses, I think Rybakina is awesome! Love her game and demeanor.
Rybakina is a very boring player though. Never shows any emotion. Good or bad..😮

I woke up at a crazy hour to watch this match and could not believe my eyes during that unbelievable tiebreak. Hats off to both Blinkova and Rybakina - this one truly deserved to be called EPIC.

Go Blinky!!!!
Incredible tie-break! Congrats to Blinkova!🎉🎉 Such will power and concentration!🤯😤💪 Feel for Rybakina!!😢😓
I don’t, for a player of Elena’s class she was way too sloppy, far to often she just could not keep the ball in play.
@@richardmacey3619
Agree 100%
Way too many unforced errors for a player that caliber. The worse for her is that she could have gotten away with it, how many match points again ?
Great player, love her game and behavior
I've been watching tennis since the 1970s. That 17-18 point was the first and ONLY time that a point brought a tear to my eye. What heart!!
I can't really keep my tears in this drama. They are both so powerful!
Prior to this match, the longest tie-breaks in mens or womens Slam history were:
20-18 Tsurenko v Bogdan (Wimbledon 2023)
20-18 Tsonga v Roddick (AO 2007)
This was insane.
Tsonga...14 years ago!!!
@@iansmirna5183 That one you mention is and will undoubtedly continue to be the longest match of all time, but there was no tiebreaker in the fifth set. They finished 6-4, 3-6, 6-7(7), 7-6(3), 70*-68 (those are games*)

The definition of perseverance in the dictionary should link to this tiebreak at the end. What a great show by two warriors.
The best drama on television. I was glued to my screen for every second. Blinkova showed true grit and determination. She never gave up. What an inspiration to us all!
This channel is miles above the other grand slam channels. I'm talking about you Rolland Garros and Wimbledon. Thank you.
Just one word: INCREDIBLE...
I loved the limited commentary during this. Whatever little they were saying was just hilarious 😂

Elena you are still an amazing player! It was tough and stressful indeed. I couldn’t imagine how tough it must’ve been 😢. Keep the spirit up for next match ❤. Greetings from Indonesia ❤

The most outrageous tiebreaker ever. Insane
First time ever i see a tie break points like this.... Love it 💋💞💖💝😘🙏
What a wonderful tiebreaker game it was. Kudos to both player. So impressive ❤
Brilliant tennis! Well played Blinkova!
So, so sorry, Elena. You are still the Queen of the courts IMO.
So gracious, so graceful, such poise, such class. Bless you xx
The feels when you see Ryba walk out in the last min of the video 😢
This is just incredible !!!!!!!!!! Congratulations to both players
the most dramatic match of this AO and I cannot remember anything equal to that in a long time - that tie-breaker Washington something! Well done to both! Anna is incredible.
Fantastic, dramatic, historical tiebreak
26:28 HOW????? It was a fight and Blinkova did it, it was the craziest moment of all AO🤯🤯🤯🤯

I've watched it three times and I still can't believe what I see! I agree to your question, "HOW?!!!!"
Couldn't believe my eyes!! 😂😂😂
Blinkova has won my heart. What a fighter 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Yeah, it looked like she wanted it more.
@dirceuzimmer4969 i wish i could read and understand what you wrote here. But thank you and may you have a successful year and all your dreams come true
@@globeExplorer365 Thanks a lot for the kind words and wishes . I wish the same for you! Her in English what I said. The stamina of both players was unbelievable. But Blinkova showed Rybakina where her place is! Tennis is definitely in good hands for the next 10-15 years.
Incredible!! Not to take anything away from Blinkova, but in this tiebreak, it was more for Rybakina to win it or lose it! A lot of Blinkova's points were from errors of Elena. A LOT!!!
Well rybakina making errors means that blinkova was great at outlasting her
Really AmAzInG! Ryba is one of the best down to earth girls and tennis players ever! How can someone not love her ✨
Before the match, I thought Ryba was gonna win in the Blinkovan eye...ok,I'll show myself out...🤣🤣🤣
You killed me pls 😂😂😂😂 blinkovan eye EXCUSE ME 😂😂😂😂😂😂
The most thrilling and heart-pounding match at the AO 2024, and one of the best matches in AO history.
To everyone else who watched this match live, we’re the lucky ones!
The emotions were intense and nobody thought it’d be this long.
I just wish it never ended. 😂
They BOTH deserved to win.
I started watching at home, but most of time was watching while i drew my car in a biggest snowy day of winter. Car is ok, so yeah, i'm lucky )
That match point save at 17: 18 is the ultimate show of heart by Blinkova, what a fighter. ( min. 26:27)
Thanks for uploading. Just caught a glimpse of your video description as I was typing. Got reminded we only in the 2nd round!! Brutal that there had to be a winner - you feel for both of them.

Such a legendary match that it was so sad that someone had to lose this epic. It's definitely a match that both ladies will look back on as a standout in their respective careers.
the point at 18-17 is AMAZING. wow. how blinkova gets all those shots and moving around the court. phenomenal strong 💪
Super tie break, love both ❤❤
18-17...crazy girl, what a warrior, what a desire to win, huge respect, im your new fan lady, its more than tennis, its life for win, its win for life💯🔥👏👏👏
That was crazy! I don't think any matches from this point forward will measure up to this. Being able to see this in person was a real treat Im sure.
I cried watching this. It was beyong good, it was sublime. Thank you ladies, you did an amazing job!
Great battle!!! Elena had enough chances winning this game...but this day Anna was the lucky one...! That's life! 😊
But blinkova fought like a warrior killer Instinct she was never feared clearly seen in her body language

Kk À aq ,
Spectacular match!!😍.. these 2 players made history in AO... speechless!!👏👏👏... congratulations Rybakina and Blinkova😍❤️👏
Shocking result. Rybakina is a class act but she had so many unforced errors here. A bit dramatic but the quality wasn't that high.
Elena, by far the better player, but so many unforced errors, Blinkova deserved to win through sheer guts and determination. Strange how Elena can be so brutal when she’s on her game, but c an also be so passive and sloppy. I think a change of coach would be good for her. On her day she can outclass Sabalenka or Iga.
Spectacular. Well done to both women
I am so happy for Blinkova!!! 😮😅😅She worked and hassled so hard for some of those points. Congratulations Anna!!!
Elena u r a hero 👏❤
Blinkova was fearless on those matchpoints down...amazing!
The crowd was so on fire for Rybakina. Great performance from both players but someone had to win.
I love Rybakina. Congrats to Blinkova .
The point @18-17 was amazing. Insane defense from blinkova
It was out, if Elena let the ball go, she would win. So so pity 😢
Hopefully this year Rybakina will become the world no 1..Amazing player.

The commentator at 0:26 : "Alright, it's a sprint, it's a 10-point tie-break." Little did he know... ;-)
I absolutely feel as though I won. That was super fantastic from both competitors. Love Rybakina but so happy Blinkova got her chance to shine. Way to go girl!!!!
Respect to both players!! You are both winners!!❤ Elena
Wooooow, Anna is really showing her resilience. She deserves it ❤❤❤
Wow, upset of the tournament BY FAR. What a battle, Rybakina reminds me of Steffi Graf in a way b/c when her game is okay she can still beat most everyone but if she's having a little bit of an off day, she doesn't really have any other game plan and someone who is super consistent and tenacious can beat her in a close match. Blinkova was the Arantxa Sanchez Vicario here. Rybakina is such a calm person on court, I thought she would pull through for sure! Wow a lot of ppl probably lost a bunch of money on their bets.
Pretty certain Graf had 'another game plan'. She won 22 majors FFS. Compare Rybakina to any of the droves of very good players who are great at their best but beatable by many others on bad days.
I stopped watching this match in the third set after Rybakina was broken as I expected her to lose. I had work in the morning and needed to sleep. I had no idea I would wake up and see that she not only brought it back, but produced an epic record breaking tie-break. Can't believe I missed the chance to watch live the tiebreaker of my generation 😭

Rybakina always struggles somewhat against Russian players. Samsonova, Kalinskaya, Andreeva and now Blinkova.
I watched live on tv but i was scared to watch and switched off the tv coz it was so intense. I only wanted to google it to find who won. Every time i Google they keep on going.
Wonderful match... Great for the spectators and even greater for the sport ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Seeing Blinkova preventing that difficult 18th tiebreak made it clear she would win.
Then Blinkova Gets knocked out in the 3rd round😅😅😅 !
What a game blinkova! ❤ i think rybakina are too tired for the many match before AO
first time to watch this kind of match first time to watch a full length of tie break in a tennis game what a game its all my first time to watch a tennis wow
I really like Rybakina, so heartbreaking. They really played hard.👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
One of the best defensive gets i've ever seen match point down
These Russian ladies are just next level.
How Anna defended the match ball when the score was 18:17 for Rybakina will go down in history... She caught some uncatchable balls, that was amazing. Blinkova is already the hero of this tournament...
I am a Rybakina fan; I'd like to see her win this AO (she should've won last year's). However, Rybakina made too many errors in the TB -- service returns, ground stroke rallys, etc. At time, it seemed like Rybakina lacked her usual confidence in striking the ball and in going for the line. One more observation -- don't you think that Rybakina was playing against an opponent who played just like her? Blinkova hit just as big. Blinkova won because, as she said, she went for it.
An epic match, that displayed how truly these two combatants mental, and physical fortitude prevailed to uncanny level, whilst entertaining the fans at courtside, simply bravo, bravo!🌹🌹👍👍👏👏
Been watching woman's tennis for year/decades , keep up the great efforts to keep enhancing the game,until@@SofiaKenin-wm9to
Both of them should have chances to win, but Only one of them could take the good chance. Rybakina is still a powerful tennis player in the top 10. Hope to win the champion next time.
