To be fair to the writers of the show: In terms of in-show realism, it was actually a very logical and even awesome way for Carmilla to go... she did go out like a badass, they did her no wrong there, but from a fanboy perspective? THE FIGHT FOR DRACULAS LEGACY: CARMILLA VS ALUCARD!!!! Very big YES to that my good sir.
Fun facc about that fight. Originally that fight wasnt supposed to happen on screen. But Samuel Deats (the animation director of the series( persuaded his team to make the fight the best it can be. And so it became one of the best fights in the series.
I feel like you could have mentioned the Night Creature that protected Issac from Carmeila in their fight several times. He seemed to have blocked her sword strike effortlessly and took her explosion like a champ. He just seemed super powerful (probably Issacs strongest night creature).
Night creatures are basically demons, they're creatures from hell inhabiting a human body. The night creature Isaac had being named Abel, assuming it is the Abel in the story of Abel and Cain, means that while most of the night creatures ranged from imps and lower demons to high demons, Abel was probably a lesser devil or archdemon, assuming such classes of things exist in the Castlevania universe. Either way that thing was a beast being able to contend with Carmilla, who one shotted pretty much every other creature in the fight
I would argue that Alucard a tier higher than Sypha and Trevor just because of his durability. Dracula smashed him through several solid stone floors which certainly would have killed anyone else on that tier. Also Sypha is DEFINITELY stronger than Trevor. Sypha might not be as durable or skilled in hand to hand as Trevor, but she can create such insane destruction on such a huge level that really no other character has been shown to do. Good video though.
Based off of season 1 and 2 I could see Alucard being argued a tier above them, but he kind of disappointed me in season 4 power wise. Sypha definitely has more destructive ability than Trevor, but with his weapons I think Trevor is more deadly against single targets, especially creatures of the night.
@@weeaboo-warrior season 3 Alucard was wasted all the time and never even seen to have drunk blood. He was taken by surprise by Sumi and Taka and when he was chained up his powers (including his strength, speed, and shape shifting) were nullified. His sword doesn’t count as a power as it’s an ancestral weapon that was passed down in his mother’s family. According to the lore people in that family could telekinetically wield the sword with no magical affinity. Also, you never mentioned how Alucard can transform into a swarm of bats just like Lenore. He is only seen using it once, but doubtlessly that could help in evasion. Last point. Alucard is incredibly durable, to the point that it’s almost a little ridiculous. He was able to take several direct hits from Trevor with his whip, that same whip which has been shown to sever fingers and destroy monsters and is quoted as being both consecrated (more harmful to vampires) and salted (nullifies vampire powers), like it’s nothing. He tanks those hits like a pro despite clearly not REALLY trying to kill Trevor, though Trevor is at this point certainly trying to kill him. The only thing in the ENTIRE show that seems to have hurt him is the silver chains that Sumi and Taka used, as well as the wooden knife Trevor stabbed him with in their fight. Everything else, even full punches from Dracula, seem to only knock him around and daze him, not even leaving bruises.
I wonder if later Generation Belmonts will be even more Skilled than Trevor, since if you loosely follow the Games, Richter worked with Maria to defeat Dracula and Simon Solo Dracula. IMO would be pretty sick to eventually See Simon in the series who is so damn good he 1v1 Dracula.
I say Trevor is stronger (physical durability) but Sypha is more powerful (he doesn’t have any powers). Alucard is stronger and more powerful than them both.
@@AstroSully not together, the one time they fought he died. Of course he didn't actually want to kill them, he just wanted them to leave but he still died.
I feel like Isaac's ability to always be a step ahead of almost every other character could put him higher. It isn't very often in the series that you see him without his army so I feel like it's kind of his base at this point. With his army and tactical genius I'd put him up in the arch vampire tier. If he ever finds a way to become physically stronger it's over for everyone involved lol. Can't really argue anything else in the list. Good stuff!
Yeah Isaac with his army is arc vampire tier material for sure. He forced Carmilla into killing herself, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he could overcome Dragan as well.
the tier list is based off individual power level. Otherwise, the nameless wizard who controlled an entire town would be placed far higher. the only reason Isaac was able to resist his magic is because of his dagger, which can cut through any magic barrier. As seen similarly with Hector's ring and the cage Hector used to capture Lenore. Most other characters that have the same spell casted on them would simply be defeated
Alucard is the weirdest one to scale. One second he breaking through walls with ease and actually shatters a part of dragan armor with a single punch, the next he can't cut through his skin. Sometimes he's going toe to toe with dracula and being called almost as strong as dracula, then some spider bitch nearly kills him and he's going to get overwhelmed and murdered by goblins. He's got more abilities than any other vampire except dracula, but you still think he's below 5 vampires on this list. My glorious blond haired boy, are you the potential greatest threat to the world, or some guy Sypha and Trevor can murderize if you get naughty? Also, how awesome would a scene where alucard gets a power boost from drinking blood be? Doesn't fit into his character, but I think it'd be cool as hell.
And now consider that he was only about 20 years old when he fought Dracula, imagine what he could do when he had trained his abilities for centuries like other vampires. He grew up very quickly, but the time he had being physically grown up is still nothing compared to those vampire generals who probably had so much more time to gain their powers.
Alucard’s powers are inconsistent af because if he was at peak conditions then Trevor and Sypha would just be accessories. He was definitely nerfed in season 4 though because he was recovering from a drunken stupor, mostly suicidal, and half insane. The whole trio was nerfed in Season 4 and only made up for it with an increase in gear and skills.
You forget how the traumatic events was not good for him! Litereally lost his mother and then killed hos own father… then become lonely for a few months which made him depressed and weak… then he found some friends whose betreyad him (cause he not showed the real stuffs) then he was to must to kill them… And we can see he litereally mever drank any blood but eat foods!
I got bored with season 3 but i forgot how great this show looks at times. Minus the cursing, references to sex, and literal human waste on screen. It doesnt take away from the show, it just makes me roll my eyes at how much it happens at times. Why did I have to see a corner where the cult guys poop?? Really?? Not a big deal though but yeesh 👍
The crazy thing about the last season is that Trevor and Sypha were tired the whole time having fought nonstop and then back to back tough battles against strong opponents. Then Trevor miraculously beats death
Honestly, something I feel is forgotten in Trevor vs Death is the fact that Trevor actually managed to overwhelm Death with the Morningstar, which isn't even meant to be effective against Death, even going far enough to make Death shout out in pain. To top it off, Trevor takes two full hits from Death and is able to not only stand back up, but overwhelm Death after like I've mentioned. Do I think Trevor could've beaten Death with just the Morningstar? No, but I don't think he gets enough credit for what he managed to pull off in that fight. Not to mention the fact that before all this, while fighting Dracula, he managed to take multiple hits and remain standing before he got his season 3 power spike. And to be fair to the entire main trio, while the unnamed vampires from Season 4 did manage to overwhelm them, they also had the main trio outnumbered. While I'd definitely keep string lady where she is, I'd probably put the others a bit lower.
True. I believe Sypha would have folded quick because her magic would do little against death. Same with Alucard. Honestly out of the three Trevor was the best matchup due to his holy weapons. IMO they are all on equal terms but are matchup dependent.
Right? Flame Whip Trevor seems nutty when it comes to destructive power, I'm almost convinced fully rested and healed Treffy could smoke Dracula with it, but it may be my video game bias speaking here
Nah surely the trio Is above string lady if they fought on the ground floor or just outside I think they'd find it a lot easier cause Trevor wouldny have to use his whip to Move around and the others wouldn't have to fly they cld ac attack them even if outnumbered
To be fair, objectively some characters on this list would be above characters like Trevor, Sypha, Isaac and so on by default. But consider how often the inferior opponent beat the superior ones. It’s their skills, abilities, weapons and knowledge that helped them beat their superior opponents. So I find accurate measures in the rankings difficult.
I do feel like Isaac's night creatures should be included in his ranking, especially since you're including Trevor's weapons and Sypha's magic. Isaac also fights in perfect sync with his night creatures, which puts him above someone like Hector imo
Great video. Dracula is above Death in terms of DC ( destructive capacity ) as Death himself admitted but if Death truly is indestructible/unkillable that obviously makes him the bigger threat to the vast majority of opponents in the long term. Depends on the metrics being used.
@@williamhenning4700 He was talking about Dracula’s ability to command armies, and when he said he wasn’t the strongest being on the planet Dracula was already dead, so it wouldn’t make much sense to revive the only character stronger than him, so maybe there are other beings even stronger than them.
@@weeaboo-warrior Was he? IIRC he talked about Dracula in general terms, though I could be misremembering. And I thought the reason he wanted to revive him because only Dracula could bring the amount of death necessary to make him that strong ( perhaps potentially stronger than that Dracula trapped in a Rebis that he planned on unleashing in the world, either way, if he's indestructible it doesn't matter if he's less powerful than Dracula ).
@@williamhenning4700 Yeah I’m pretty sure he said it was Dracula’s ability to control an army but you can double check if you want. Dracula would be faster than Death though, as even Trevor can dodge him, so you could argue Death would never land a hit I guess. The Rebis might have been stronger than death though, as apparently that’s supposed to be the ultimate creature.
I feel Sypha's battle adaptability should have been considered. As the series went on you seen how flexible her battle awareness and was quickly able to switch magics as she gained experience. Early on we mostly saw pretty ridged magic as she mostly relied on fire for attach and ice defense. Later S1 she was swapping spells mid fight at faster paces, she started using fire more creatively, ice spells in close quarters as defense and offense, then learned lightning.
I wish they would’ve given Lenore more follow up on her line to Hector about being underestimated. Maybe a fight with the night creatures before being pulled back by Hector? Idk. I think they did her dirty since Morana became the established “doesn’t fight” member of the council.
I really wanted to see a fight between Alucard and Camilla. That actually would've been awesome if she had tried to take the castle herself while he was temporarily alone in it during Season 3. I also always imagined the trio fighting against Camilla, Striga, Morgana, and Lenora. Even if some of them weren't really fighters I'm sure they had skills to an extent. I think that would have been an interesting showdown.
@@Bxyxox She probably would, if we base their skills in season 4, we didnt see her fight in neither of the other seasons, other than kicking that red head general off the stairs and Alucard was significantly stronger than what he shown in seaosn 4, i still think it would be a fair and close fight
I’m glad you said it 😂 Issac wouldn’t have had a chance against Carmilla in a 1v1 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽💯 love the fact your not being bias and scaling them on some real shit!
@@DarrelWatkins77 no one said nothing about his intelligence human or not he needed a army to defeat ONE vampire tf you talking bout 🤣 Trevor is a human to you ain’t see he needed a army!
I think Alucard was nerfed in season 4, I cant believe the fact that he would struggle against night creatures when he has been seen absolutely demolishing other more powerful beings. The plot kind of needed for him to be weaker so that his storyline in season 4 would have a bit more tension. Maybe the argument for it is that he grew tired after fighting a lot due to his human side, or maybe its because he hasn't been drinking any blood, but I think a full powered Alucard who managed to keep up with Dracula despite him not wanting to kill him would literally destroy anyone else on the list (Except for Death and Dracula obviously).
I think I'll have to disagree. Although Alucard's power is great, I doubt he could smash Dragan. I don't think Alucard at full power can match up to the tri in the final battle of season 4
@@andrewsabo7536 yeah to be honest you are probably right about Dragan, Alucard is still fairly young for a vampire, even with Dracula being his father, i don't think he could yet take on some of the strongest vampires ever, which Dragan is for sure one.
Might not be accurate to say Alucard was keeping up with Dracula but I do agree that he was nerfed in season 4 for the plot. Honestly, I think he could easily be placed in arch vampire tier if we ignored season 4.
only issue i have with this is when you were talking about alucard and trevors fight. Alucard was testing him to see if he was skilled enough to help with dracula. If he wanted to kill him he would of. Alucard should be higher tier.
at some point it was even said that alucard was almost as strong as his father. I mean he wasn't even close to beating Dracula in his prime but still the fact that he lasted quite some time in that fight shows how powerful he is.
@@Nikoolayy1 hell nah. End of the series alucard is still physically stronger and durable than trevor. Trevor is still human after all. Trevor just has a better variety of weaponry which evens out the playing field.
Kinda curious where the Rebis would've ranked, as in the brief time we saw it a seemingly uncontrolled burst of power was sufficient to crack the very stones of the castle around it. Bearing in mind we never even saw the Rebis _attack_ anything, just writhe in grief. Its power must've surely been comparable to Dracula given Death was confident it would have murdered the entire world.
Yeah, I left it off since we didn’t see its true power, but it would have been cool to see it in action. I suspect it would at least be in Dracula’s tier.
I wish we got to see more feats of Godbrand. Considering the teleporting vampire was on his crew, I wouldn't be surprised if he was stronger in a straight battle. I wonder how powerful Abel would be on his own if it fought against Godbrand or Carmilla.
I'd place dracula above death imo. Ik the show isn't the same as the games but dracula is the strongest being, archangels, other vampires, death hell even lucifer is shit scared of him. A well fed and mentally stable Dracula would have no problem handling death. Imo
I think it was specified that for this tier list Dracula was ranked by judging only his power while he was at his absolute worst, as the upper limits of his power in the show are unknown. Blood-starved Dracula who fights half-heartedly and wants to die is not stronger than Death. Normal Dracula, however, is.
@@emastermet609 Trevor was definitely not rusty for all that time. We literally saw him kill armed priests, slay multiple night creatures and take down an entire cyclops when he saved Sypha. I think thats more than enough evidence to say the match was fairly even
@@pokimanefartcompilation Admitted that the fight with Priests was sloppy and out of practice, and said with the Cyclops that he was out of practice, theres literally no implications that Alucard got rusty at all, not even a mention, no mentions of sleeping making Vampires senses or skills dull or anything or that Aluzard was any worse than he was when Dracula one shotted him.
@@emastermet609 fair enough. Anyway, regarding your second point. If they were to fight again, I highly doubt Trevor would win, even by the end of the series. Trevor may be an impressive warrior but his weapons are designed for fighting demons and vampires. Unfortunately, his weapons dont work on Alucard. Since Alucard is half human, he has a natural advantage against Trevor. And lets not forget that Alucard is only a teenager and son of the most powerful vampire to ever live. His physical capabilities are far more than Trevor. With that being said, it would be a difficult fight for sure
why is lenore low vampire, she demonstrated so many high level abilities, mist transformation, speed stance, bat transformation, those rings she made, etc. she deserves high vamp
Alucard is 100% a tier above trevor and Sypha. In s4, he was drunk, in a bad shape, and fought an ARMY for 24 hours straights and was still so damn strong
I feel Carmilla should be higher. Her fight against Isaac was her visibly exhausted after killing so many demons she had flooded the floor and staircases of the castle with blood, I'm honestly unsure if the main trio could take her on a 3v1.
The thing to remember about Alucard in this series is that he's 300 years younger than he was in his SOTN continuity. If they do him justice, he'll be way stronger in the next season.
@@SuperPianogirl123well... not exactly, he's in a single scene and the new show kinda blows in comparison to the original. Here's hoping it gets better going forwards
obviously he would need the dagger, but full powered dracula, who wasn't starving, insane, depressed and was actually trying would kill death in my opinion
i disagree with the tier list too. in the castlevania SOTN lore, death serves dracula. the most powerful character in castlevania is still dracula. not even lucifer and satan can defeat him. well, there is still one character that is above all... and that is God. yes, he is a character in this story.
What a great collection of clips. Really good aggregate. I loved this series more with each episode. I've been obsessed with CV since the original on NES. Thanks for making this.
Genuinely don’t know how Trevor beat let alone survived against death. It can be questionable how he and Sypha survived against Dracula but I always convince since Dracula wasn’t trying. Then again Trevor is kinda main character so I just assume plot armor
I’m surprised you didn’t mention the scene where Striga admits Carmilla is stronger than her. When they are looking at the destruction of their castle from below she says she feels Carmella’s death. And says they’d just be killing themselves going up there.
Id really put issac up, dude owns his own army and was amazing in tactical fighting as shown fighting carmilla even though she was already pretty injured and worn out id say the army+Combat skills is arch vampire level
Here's what I'm gonna say: Trevor having his weapons is a given. He uses the Morningstar, the Vampire Killer, the Combat Cross, and all of those are just considered part of him and factor into where he goes on the tierlist. The same holds true for other characters, Alucard has his flying sword, Isaac has his Forge knife. So, since a character's weapons are part of how they fight and who they are, Trevor having the Dagger of Doom should factor into the tierlist. With it, he can oneshot anything, thus putting him firmly in the highest possible tier: Treffy.
Can't say I disagree with spider vamp being op but you gotta admit they probably had info on them and knew how to fight them and they were in a good location for her with all the tight space for her wires. put her in a more open area and she has no defense or mobility. great video tho I loved it
Yeah she definitely could have had those advantages, but we don’t really know if she had knowledge on them or if she would do worse on open ground for sure, so I just put her above them since we saw her winning on screen.
The problem with Isaac is... are you looking at him alone in a 1v1 or with prep time for an army of night creatures. Because he alone is not that powerful (although far from weak), while he with an army of night creatures is extremely powerful. He defeated Carmilla without much trouble.
Without much trouble?, she would have killed him about 3 times if it wasnt because of his night creatures getting in the way, not to mention how he ran to Carmilla when she was about to explode and didnt notice until his flying creature went to block the explosion for him
I feel that the trio is stronger than eachother in their own methods. Sypha has the most raw destructive power against groups, Trevor is easily the most skilled in singular combat and weponry mastery and solely because he has the morningstar allows him to destroy most enemies. Alucard is the most durable and well rounded because he got punch/shoved through multiple walls by dracula. if the three were to fight id say Sypha would win against trevor but lose to Alucard because of Alucards many different ways to attack. Trevor would beat Alucard but lose to Sypha, Trevor has a massive advantage due to the Morningstar being made for Vampires and if we consider that when Trevor fights he is no longer in his rusty state like in the beginning of the series. Trevor loses to sypha due to her raw power and methods of attack Trevor is unable to dodge or resist. and Alucard is as mentioned.
Yeah Sypha easily has the highest kill count amongst the trio. While Trevor and Alucard have killed stronger opponents, when it comes to wiping out hordes of underlings she's the MVP.
Excellent tier list. Extremely well thoughout and logical. I really don't disagree with any worth mentioning. I do like that you took Dracula essentially starving and not caring into account also. I think if he was healthy, and actually wanted to live, he coulda probably been placed on a higher tier too. But as it stands I would rank him where you did. Edit** How cool would it have been watching him fight at his full power level? He essentially might as well be a god.
in my opinion Dracula prime would destroy no diff death without a doubt, we speak about the greatest sorcerer who ever existed combined with the greatest scientific with revolutionary scientific tools, he would certainly beat death just by knowing his weaknesses, and im pretty sure he already know it considering the fact that he seems to know everything.
I would have loved to see Ratko get his arse handed to him by Dragan or Striga, just so he could see what actual military prowess looks like in the hands of a vampire.
I got an easy counter for death higher than Drac. Death clearly can cause lots of it... Wanted Dracula because he could cause the most of anyone. Death itself, or even if a death vampire, would know its best source of food. The causing if death. Also death served Dracula in his court. Dracula will always be the biggest bad of Castlevania. Unless you somehow got God in there.
Fun fact: if it was the Hector from his own game he could probably body everyone in the show, mf defeated Trevor, Isaac, Death AND a resurrected Dracula all by himself (well he had innocent devils assisting him but still)
@@erikfigueroa6390 his actually really strong it's just that almost every time he has been defeated it's when his Resurrection is incomplete canonically you've only seen him get defeated at full power two times and that's in Aria of sorrow and in Dracula's curse which the latter it took the third strongest character in the entire series a magical God (sypha she is really op) and a Belmont with a full-powered whip to defeat him and the and the former it took almost an entire Army of vampire Hunters Wizards and many other supernatural creatures plus the strongest Belmont plus Alucard again to defeat them and they barely did
Lenore said it in the series too, they think I'm weak. She was right. Clearly, she's intelligent, highly skilled in vampiric magic, and superior in shape-shifting compared to others. She masters the dominance and manipulation inherent in the vampire nature with the logic that the pen is mightier than the sword. Taking only physical combat into account is unfair. Lenore deserves a higher rank.
Very solid and unbiased list. The only places i personally don't agree would be: - Alucard: I'd move him up to the next tier. I think he was pretty solidly stronger than Sypha and Trevor and this was best demonstrated in his fight with Dracula. I don't think either of the other two would have survived that beating. And him being able to control his sword telekinetically gives him an advantage over the other 2 because he doesn't have to telegraph his offense. - Carmilla: I feel like she was unfairly ranked below the Vampire Shogun (forgot his name) because she never got to fight our trio of heroes. But the reason I would rank her just below Dracula is because she was the only other vampire in the series shown to be able to achieve that.. red eyes power up state (i wish they would have explained this state at some point in the series) She single handedly mowed down enough night creatures to flood that entire chamber with blood. I felt like the writers made it very clear that she lost the fight to Isaac (and that super OP night creature) due to exhaustion. - Striga: I hate that they made her so OP and only showed her fighting humans lol. I would imagine she could probably go toe to toe with Dracula given her size and physical strength, but we weren't given much evidence to support that. And if she were to fight Carmilla, it's still tough to call. I would probably give the edge to Carmilla due to superior speed and "red eyes state." But I wouldn't rank the Shogun above her.
@@weeaboo-warrior actually Lenore doesn't have the red eyes state, I know what you're talking but it's quite different, she only turns her eyes red for a brief moment when she transforms into her bat form, as For Carmilla and Dracula they both have it when they're enraged, anyways love your vid!
I agree a lot with how you scaled them... only change would bei Isaac. I would probably Put him around Striega and Camilla or at least in the same tear for reasons others already explained. Nice Video and the arguments seem pretty reasonable.
Removing Trevor’s weapons is exactly the same as removing a character strength from a vampire or an elemental attack from a magician. Trevor did indeed possess the god killer blade, but my argument is that in other hands, it would have been worthless. Point is, when power scaling, we can never rule out raw tenacity. Because in fairness, Trevor was also near insane with regret and disquiet. That was what made the plot between him, death, Dracula and Alacurd intriguing. Just an opinion.
We have never been able to see the draculas full potential. He was in his worst and most weak days when he faught and almost won the battle between alucard, trevor and sophia ( if dracula had not been visited to alucard's room during that fight,it's a clear death for alucard.Remembering the past got dracula emotional.) At the end of the last episode,we can see dracula and lisa having a chat and she say "Shouting at Satan until he admimitted he was just keeping the warm for you". Freaking guy is shouted at Satan. I think if he has his full potential, he can beat death.Without dropping a sweat.
I would argue that Alucard should be up a rank on equal if not higher than Carmella, if only because she fears Dracula, but Alucard is seen going toe to toe with the big D and not only holding his own but matching Dracula blow for blow in many ways. Carmella is dangerous, sure. But I would argue that Alucard also has another thing going for him; he's Dracula's son. So he's got the bloodline working for him too. That undoubtedly boosts his power, but perhaps in ways that isn't obviously stated within cannon.
The only bad parts of the show is that we don't get more feats for characters other than alucard, Belmont, and cipher and that certain characters didn't fight each other like Carmella and alucard
@@weeaboo-warrior he said if Dracula kill everybody he be the strongest being on earth meaning he’s not the strongest being on earth which I think is Dracula and besides that he might can be kill because even tho he’s a function of the world he also the embodiment so the body can be destroyed and the person who might have that knowledge is Dracula and in the games Death is a servant of Dracula
@@NCWUniverse If Dracula killed everybody Dracula would still be alive, so I don't know if that is good evidence. And Death was never shown to have an army, so it making sense isn't really enough to prove it. If he had one he should have used it. The game lore is different from the show lore so I don't think that should count. In the show he only faked being a servant of Dracula as Varney.
Very cool. The problem is that they always absolutely ALWAYS struggle with the enemies they face so it makes it hard. They just seem to keep getting stronger bcs they start showing things they didnt earlier tho. Something also important is that in the ending both trevor and sypha were fatigued af from fighting night after night one after another. I also dont think the vampire u pointed out blitzed thought sypha tho, he just passed through to alucard and she was looking he do so(doesnt really make much sense but i dont think they included this to show a blitz🤷). Make an updated list with castlevania nocturne
While Death is basically a deity, his ability to act in this realm is very limited. If he could, he'd just wipe Earth himself. While the relationship between Drac and Death deviates a lot from the game's universe, I assume Dracula would need a tool similar to Trevor's to defeat Death
It's a very hard list to do without specifics, like... Some characters have much higher destructive capability, while others rely entirely on weapons/summons to fight, even though they are some of the strongest characters when they do. And then there's the skill factor, where Trevor and Isaac skyrocket in rank besides they having just above average human stats. Overall I like your list, but regarding the Legion wizard/Isaac/Hector I think you should've given them a more equal "I have x preparation" or "I have no preparation" scenario, since their rank varies dramatically by that.
I would say that what makes Trevor that powerful are not his weapons, but his inteligence and knowledge. And his fighting style is mostly him manipulating the situation so that he can win. Even in many situations where he didn't have a weapon, he simply improvised one.
I find it kinda ironic that Hector from the games would beat almost everyone in a 1v1 but in the show he's barely above some human warriors. In what tier would you put him? I think he's at least Top High Vampire and at most Top Arch Vampire
He's not that powerful in the games, it's very unclear if he being alone in the cutscenes mean he is just finishing them off or if he didn't use the IDs at all. He is definitely much more skilled in hand-to-hand fighting and his IDs are most likely much more powerful than the animated series' ones, kinda like the Netflix Isaac. But then again Death is comparable to the Forgemasters in game canon and pretty much any Castlevania protagonist would wash the floor with Death, so yeah
I personally feel Dracula is still over Death since the former didn’t even bring out his demonic form and in the game (at least as Richter, who if im not wrong basically solo’d) you’re allowed to use a similar ultimate move to trevor’s and much more against him.
Drac is above Death for me. Death had a big power up whereas Dracula was starving and held back on Alucard, even basically giving up at the end. However if they fought as they were (Death powered up and Drac weakened) I think Death would win.
I'd like to see you add Castlevania Nocturne characters to this list. Where do Richter, Maria, Annette, Drolta, Olrox and Erzabet land among these ranks?
I love the fact that alucard is one of the strongest vampires and still carries a shield. It confuses me when people in these shows dont ever use shields, even tho they might have superstrength, so carrying that shield around it easy task and it saves your life a lot.
The crazy part about draculas fight, was not only was he not really trying. He was also STARVING during it. He was heavily malnourished.

I feel like you could have mentioned the Night Creature that protected Issac from Carmeila in their fight several times. He seemed to have blocked her sword strike effortlessly and took her explosion like a champ. He just seemed super powerful (probably Issacs strongest night creature).

Ah yes, another asset of his plot armor
@@andrewbaier6085 My bad, I meant season 4. And Alucard being half human probably somewhat protects him from Trevor’s whip.

Good stuff!

@@weeaboo-warrior Agreed. Love the content!

the tier list is based off individual power level.
@@weeaboo-warrior "I can't kill the world and bleed it to death. But he (Dracula) could." -Death.

@@df0rdeath58 alucard is clearly the most powerful of the three but matchups do matter
11:00 Dracula mentioned the morning star whip as a tool needed to fight him seriously
I agree. he was a boss in that fight

@@itsoracle the night creatures are issac's weapons
@flurple yes, and the night creatures are also the result of his forgemaster magic.
Great video. Dracula is above Death in terms of DC ( destructive capacity ) as Death himself admitted but if Death truly is indestructible/unkillable that obviously makes him the bigger threat to the vast majority of opponents in the long term. Depends on the metrics being used.
Are you referring to when Death stated he needed to absorb more souls to become the strongest thing on the planet?
@@weeaboo-warrior Yep. And that he couldn't carry out the destruction necessary for him to become that.
Honestly if you focus on Sypha during your rewatch you realize she carried a lot of fights.
sypha displayed avatar level mastery by the end. imo she is easily stronger than her 2 counterparts. the boys are on top for the sake of the plot

Yes my friend I agree
That hipotethical Carmilla vs Alucard fight tho... now that is some stuff to think about, isnt it?
I think I'll have to disagree. Although Alucard's power is great, I doubt he could smash Dragan. I don't think Alucard at full power can match up to the tri in the final battle of season 4
@@andrewsabo7536 yeah to be honest you are probably right about Dragan, Alucard is still fairly young for a vampire, even with Dracula being his father, i don't think he could yet take on some of the strongest vampires ever, which Dragan is for sure one.

Id really put issac up, dude owns his own army and was amazing in tactical fighting as shown fighting carmilla even though she was already pretty injured and worn out id say the army+Combat skills is arch vampire level
Yeah with his army with him he is definitely arch vampire tier. His ranking was basically him without his army ready.

I agree, its the name
The problem with Isaac is... are you looking at him alone in a 1v1 or with prep time for an army of night creatures. Because he alone is not that powerful (although far from weak), while he with an army of night creatures is extremely powerful. He defeated Carmilla without much trouble.
Basically him by himself but he is allowed to make night creatures mid combat.

The only places i personally don't agree would be:
- Alucard: I'd move him up to the next tier.
Lenore actually had the red eye state as well, but yeah, I wish it was explained.

Nice Video and the arguments seem pretty reasonable.
I would put him in that tier as well if he already had a lot of night creatures with him.
I'd change Hector to be higher also, but thats probably just because I know what he's actually capable of.
@@cyote312ify I heard in the games he is strong but his lore from the games doesn’t automatically carry over to the show.
Nah this tier list mad accurate.
this is great tierlist considering how little you had to work with
Thank you
The Make Love Not Warcraft Southpark being dubbed over with Castlevania voices had me dead.
Also there's the matter of what Lisa said about Dracula stealing a specific someone's throne in the apologue.
Dracula is still the strongest, even the devil is affraod of him
In the games yes
I came here hoping this list includes the latest series.. but it was a good list thanks. Maybe you will edit this and add also the new characters?
Yes I will make an updated list at some point
We have never been able to see the draculas full potential. He was in his worst and most weak days when he faught and almost won the battle between alucard, trevor and sophia ( if dracula had not been visited to alucard's room during that fight,it's a clear death for alucard.Remembering the past got dracula emotional.) At the end of the last episode,we can see dracula and lisa having a chat and she say "Shouting at Satan until he admimitted he was just keeping the warm for you". Freaking guy is shouted at Satan. I think if he has his full potential, he can beat death.Without dropping a sweat.
What about Abel, would have included him because he clearly overpowers the low vampires.
I do think narratively it would make sense for Alucard to be up a tier, he just didn't have the feats to justify him there imo.
The only bad parts of the show is that we don't get more feats for characters other than alucard, Belmont, and cipher and that certain characters didn't fight each other like Carmella and alucard
Death himself said Dracula is stronger
No he didn't, he just said he could do something he couldn't, and that could easily be due to Dracula having an army.
And you would think a dude named death would have the army of dead people and things that died over the years which would be countless at this point
It's time to make an updated version with the characters from Castlevania Nocturne
Death might not win the 1v1 with Dracula at full power. After all, there's a reason he needed him back
While Death is basically a deity, his ability to act in this realm is very limited.
Especially if you put the slave king higher with his millions of slave army prep time
I would say that what makes Trevor that powerful are not his weapons, but his inteligence and knowledge. And his fighting style is mostly him manipulating the situation so that he can win. Even in many situations where he didn't have a weapon, he simply improvised one.
That ending scene made me laugh :)
The castlevania voice over on south park was the best 😂
The captain was the most powerful since he saved humanity with his words.
I personally feel Dracula is still over Death since the former didn’t even bring out his demonic form and in the game (at least as Richter, who if im not wrong basically solo’d) you’re allowed to use a similar ultimate move to trevor’s and much more against him.
We don't even know if Dracula has a demonic form in the animated version.
Drac is above Death for me. Death had a big power up whereas Dracula was starving and held back on Alucard, even basically giving up at the end.
However if they fought as they were (Death powered up and Drac weakened) I think Death would win.
Terminal depression, the greatest debuff to have if you’re Dracula
I'd like to see you add Castlevania Nocturne characters to this list. Where do Richter, Maria, Annette, Drolta, Olrox and Erzabet land among these ranks?
I still have to watch it.
Dracula would defeat Death, no question
Proof?
I love the fact that alucard is one of the strongest vampires and still carries a shield. It confuses me when people in these shows dont ever use shields, even tho they might have superstrength, so carrying that shield around it easy task and it saves your life a lot.
I disagree with the Isaac placement, I think he belongs higher due to the fact that he's so damn prepared all the time, for everything. With an army
If he has his army, I agree he is higher.
