I Think What's Going To happen to hector in season 4 is that he escapes gets a wife the wife gets burned in the stake by getting framed by isaac of being a witch and after that Hector seeks revenge
Isaac isn’t a character that just happens to look different than how he’s depicted in games with him being black. He was intentionally made black. Designing him solely after his voice actor makes no sense because Isaac has some residual African accent. The voice actor had to be hired with someone who could use this accent in mind. Most likely Isaac being a former slave that aligns with his capturers and him being black are part of a sub narrative about the nature of identity for black people who choose to take the side of those in power. How he chooses to forsake humanity for vampires can be paralleled to a black slave who “sells out” to join with his owners because he has invested his whole identity in being their a servant. It’s also not a coincidence that one of the few other black characters, a pirate, is the one to offer insight that leads to a change in direction for him. I respect the writers for not shying away from a topic like this because there are some who could take offense to the only representation of a black person being a former slave and mistake this as a way to undermine the character.
An interesting fact: Forgemasters are most likely based on the rituals of the great king Solomon, the tools they use are a direct connection to the king Solomon's ring that he used to summon and control demons (bind them to his will) and the part where Isaac builds a temple is a connection with the king Solomon building his own temple using said demons that he summoned. If this was the inspiration for these two characters (mostly Isaac) then the book used as a template is called the lesser keys of Solomon and the demons are similar to the descriptions of the ones in the book (mostly a combination of different animals or animal human hybrids). The origin of the book was in Egypt, it was translated to the language of Jews, then into Greek and Latin after that. It was finally translated to English, partially by Alister Crawly (the original translator died before he had a chance to finish the translations). Where things are different: The lesser keys have 72 spirits with their own will and characteristics and summoning them does not involve a corpse since they have their own bodies, mostly a combination of animals (most looking like a biblically accurate angels, especially since some of them are the fallen angels themselves) till the summoner requests them to turn to human form. Also, they are totally obedient to the summoner, speaking only the truth (two being the examples, for one the summoner needs to request of them to speak the truth and the other has to be compelled by a summoner using a special ritual in order to be bound in the first place). Outside of that, the symbols that the forge masters use are similar in design to the ones used in the show. Since the original games used to trash religion in general, it would not too hard to imagine that the characters and their magic were inspired by the said book...
Ok, i checked it out and was correct. From a game's wiki: The monsters in this category are all creatures that appear in the Castlevania games and are based off of the 72 demons that King Solomon summoned and contained within a bronze vessel, according to the first section of The Lesser Key of Solomon, otherwise known as the Ars Goetia.
i prefer this isaac than the original, can you imagine if he was a sadistic malevolent ginger guy sure he’ll be an interesting character but later becomes annoying uninteresting glad they changed him this isaac single handedly killing a vampire with his bare hands

Both basically say; Yeah, the people out there are kind of messed up, because the world around them is messed up. If they (Lisa) had better science and medicine they would live long enough to change for the better and have less fear of the unknown and unexplained. Or if you take out mankind, you kill the corruption but you also kill the kindness inherent to man too. Teach them to be better so the kind outweigh the corrupt; otherwise you'll be left with an empty and boring world. They're saying different things, but it feels like they're arguing the same points.
Well he definitely didn't say it in the Bible, to be sure (Muhammad was born well after the life of Jesus and isn't mentioned in the Bible). @@murrowboy actually there's a reason for that, because most Muslims prohibit themselves from depicting Mohammad The idea behind why is that worshipping only the one god is extremely important in Islam, and heroic depictions of Mohammad and other prophets are seen as putting them up on a pedestal of sorts
here's a question i should pose. you said that it's clear as day that isaac is wrong. but is it actually so clear? what if isaac is indeed correct? if there is in fact more evil in humanity than good, would it then be right to host an extinction? the authors of the christian bible seemed to think so, in the story of the flood.
The point of the story of the flood is not that humanity is evil, but that humanity can become evil. And at the end of flood, god give to humanity the arch of alliance, meaning it can be offered a chance of redemption (through god, obviously)

He is not designed after the game because his design in the game was pretty outlandish and didn't really fit with anything else they were going for in the anime. I would go as far as to say that the game design didn't fit with the game itself to be honest. Unrelated to Issac but I just yesterday realized that Dracula is voiced by the same man who voiced Lazaravich from Uncharted 2
I always knew the second Dracula talked and yells. It reminded me of how Lazaravich yelled at Drake during the final battle of Among Thieves.
This is such a good video. Good job brother
Great video bro! Keep it up
Looking forward to ur season 4 videos
Great analysis and great formatting, thanks!
I Think What's Going To happen to hector in season 4 is that he escapes gets a wife the wife gets burned in the stake by getting framed by isaac of being a witch and after that Hector seeks revenge
Love your work keep on it.
The captain and Isaac kinda remind of the movie holy smoke! with the challenging conversation and the desert themes.

Isaac is the character I like the most!
Isacc is my favorite character
Issac is one hell of a good character, one of my favorites of all anime.
The calm persona jazz was rly nice.
i prefer this isaac than the original, can you imagine if he was a sadistic malevolent ginger guy
sure he’ll be an interesting character but later becomes annoying uninteresting
glad they changed him
this isaac single handedly killing a vampire with his bare hands
Definitely enjoyed your input 👍.
Wait... so let me get this straight. Issac, tries to be reasonable, tries to be optimistic, tries to avoid violence, people try to kill him, sell him etc. and when he resorts to violence... after trying to avoid it, Issac is in the wrong? Warped view on life...
So, if a child kicks you, you snapped its neck?
I think you are insane.
we thought he’s a evil bastard at first, but turnsout hes a very reasonable person
if you piss him off or attempt to attack him
he’ll show no mercy
man why these idiots keep attacking him
isaac was trying to be polite, but no these idiots are too scared and too paranoid decided to attack him
@@joshuagraham2843
Let's be fair Isaac is a bit insane if he thinks an army of demons could pass without any people getting aggressive about it. I'd say there is an equal amount of idiocy in both sides.
@@Raximus3000 so you create a scene that doesn't exist to make your point? Do you know what a straw man is?
@@Raximus3000 An army of demons bored a ship and got there without death. You forgot about that part didn't you. You next statement will be, oh... This is all fiction anyway. Marginalizing the principle point here.
Isaac is completely insane. The man walks around with an army of demons and expects people to be okay with it.
Isaac: "What's the big deal guys? It's just an army of bloodthirsty demons. They're harmless I swear!"
Insanity smh
He doesn't expect people to be okay with it. All he wanted is no one messing with him. If I were one of the people that saw him coming with demon army, I would run and hide rather than foolishly acting tough to oppose him.
@@Xul-Xata You and me and all the viewers of the show are familiar with Isaac already. We get it. But what if you're a devoutly Christian soldier sworn to protect the city and its people? Some guy shows up with the spawn of hell in tow and you're just gonna let him walk right in?
@@treacherousjslither6920 You know, if I were a devoutly Christian soldier, I should have try to talk to him and make a peace treaty or some sort to prevent bloodshed (which is what a true devoutly Christian soldier should do first) rather than provoke him straight to violence. Only those Christian soldier with confuse agenda go with violence first, such as those that accused Lisa as a witch and burned her at a stake.
Edit: Even The Captain who is possibly not belong to any religion did the same, he talked a way out to prevent possible massacre to his crews. Just because a black man with demon army walking around in town doesn't mean that they would go on a rampage right away.
@@Xul-Xata Make a peace treaty with the demonic sorcerer? Come on man lol. These people burned Lisa and she didn't even do anything. They're bound to lose their shid with Isaac.
@@treacherousjslither6920 If the demonic sorcerer wreaked havoc by surprises the moment he and his army arrived, thats mean peace treaty is not an option, and it is reasonable to fight back. But Isaac just walk around and his demons obeyed his order to not kill anyone unless he was provoked, which showed that peace treaty with him is possible, or at least they could have just pretend to mind their own business and they could have survived.
Its like you playing games that have extremely powerful neutral mob passed by and won't harm you unless being provoked. Same could apply to real life such as when local street gang passed by you. You won't going to mess with them, right? At least you just mind your own business and you may get away unharmed.
Funny thing is that even the weakest season of this show is still absurdly entertaining and interesting, it's so good that some thing seem lackluster in comparison when It would be sung as high praise in any other show
Isaac is a force of nature
What is that background music..... It’s driving me crazy
Persona 5 lmao
@@PapaTraffy Broooo THANK YOU. I honestly was racking my brain for a solid 20 mins
Question for the Fate series fans in the comment section: Isaac or Kirei Kotomine... Who would win? OR Who is more dangerous?
Isaac original design was change because the writer for the series believe it Wouldn't fit with it's tone
@J purple ramen how is having alucard having threesome means lsaac original design could have fit in?
What is the background beat?
so its season 4 really comming
Am I reading too much into things; or is the Captain's argument about teaching mankind to be better very similar to the one Lisa poses to Dracula to get him to take her on as a student? Both basically say; Yeah, the people out there are kind of messed up, because the world around them is messed up. If they (Lisa) had better science and medicine they would live long enough to change for the better and have less fear of the unknown and unexplained. Or if you take out mankind, you kill the corruption but you also kill the kindness inherent to man too. Teach them to be better so the kind outweigh the corrupt; otherwise you'll be left with an empty and boring world. They're saying different things, but it feels like they're arguing the same points.
They don’t want any smoke with that guy Isaac
Does anyone know - When Issac quotes Mohammad: "One day there will be
no more humans left in hell", did Mohammad really say that in the bible?
Well he definitely didn't say it in the Bible, to be sure (Muhammad was born well after the life of Jesus and isn't mentioned in the Bible). But, yeah, its a belief among a portion of the Muslim faith that Hell is a place people only go to for a temporary period of time, and Muhammad is quoted in a Hadith as saying that Hell will eventually be empty as a result of that
@@bobshnitzel2608 ummm... Maybe they just made it up for the show? It'd be offensive to Muslims if Mohammed really did say something so ominous.
@@murrowboy I mean maybe the exact quote sounds slightly ominous (especially considering how Isaac says it) but the idea is really just that people who go to hell don't have to suffer for eternity, thats all.
I'm a Muslim myself, and I had heard a similar quote before watching the show, though I'm not knowledgeable enough to know if its an accurate quotation, or trustworthy. I can at least vouch for it not being offensive though
@@bobshnitzel2608 So Muslims believe there is a hell? And Mohammad says that people who end up there don't stay there forever. Interesting. I also find it strange there are so many depictions of Jesus, but almost none of Muhammad.
@@murrowboy actually there's a reason for that, because most Muslims prohibit themselves from depicting Mohammad
The idea behind why is that worshipping only the one god is extremely important in Islam, and heroic depictions of Mohammad and other prophets are seen as putting them up on a pedestal of sorts
That intro is 🔥🌋🔥🌋🔥
At 8:48 one can find the contours of some desktop with DBZ picture. :P
Isaac made his strongest demon I'm season 4 saw it in the trailer 🔥
Isaac, a.k.a David Goggins
My second favorite character behind Dracula 🗣
here's a question i should pose.
you said that it's clear as day that isaac is wrong. but is it actually so clear?
what if isaac is indeed correct?
if there is in fact more evil in humanity than good, would it then be right to host an extinction?
the authors of the christian bible seemed to think so, in the story of the flood.
The point of the story of the flood is not that humanity is evil, but that humanity can become evil. And at the end of flood, god give to humanity the arch of alliance, meaning it can be offered a chance of redemption (through god, obviously)
@@romualdcaffeserre6230 you just said the exact same thing that i did but with dumber phrasing.
@@sergeantsonso3490 Not just Christian bible. you mean the Hebrew bible
The positive changes he could bring would be the end of humanity.
Isaac is the true hero
Issac is the indigent boy getting beaten in the streets
Such a good show and the writer are amazing and thank you for the explanation deep explanation of every character..
Season 4! Now please!
Why Isaac's designe was changed?
Season 7 tomorrow!
They need to make SotN animated
Isaac is right about humans. He should do what he wants because someone else will for sure.
Is hector dead ?i haven’t watched season 3 yet

There is a theory that isaac will become death. That he'll learn how to forge his own body and become death as we know him from the games
Isaac was a slave , but he's now free.
No one wants smoke with Isaac
Honestly idk if you can teach humans to be better. But you can hide yourself in a box. But I mean isn't it fun to feel on top of everyone bc there all simple minded
But is he wrong though?
isaac isnt wrong though :P
“It’s because Your all so fucking rude”

It's sad they didn't give Hector the same level of depth they gave Isaac. I'm sure the writers knew Isaac was going to be one of those characters while Hector is just a plot device.
His time well come trust me lol

Konami

Isaac carried season that season
I want them to return Drakula and Lisa back to the story
Im not interested in other characters
Hahaha 😂😂
Same ii only care about dracula and issac
Well, that kinda happened
He is not designed after the game because his design in the game was pretty outlandish and didn't really fit with anything else they were going for in the anime. I would go as far as to say that the game design didn't fit with the game itself to be honest. One of their best decisions was to make Isaac into a proper character and flesh out his character as something different, outlandish according to common euro-centric views, but still very much real: a sufi.
That's a stupid thumbnail! He's not a monster, just a lonely guy with a philosophy. Beside all the shit he did, i'm sure he would be a good friend and an awesome interlocuter
