I think it's funny how you would never see this many negative comments on makeup/beauty videos but when someone texturizes/relaxes their hair there are no other comments but negative ones. Sounds like y'all have some underlying personal insecurities about your own hair because there is no reason everyone should care THIS much. If you for some reason have hate towards people that chemically alter their hair, then stay away from these videos. It's simple.
WELL SAID❣️
Omg🙄 y'all are crazy in these comments last we checked it was her hair
Queen Areanna ikr
Face Reality how is that self hate?
Thank you im like all these people getting there panties in a twist for what reason and purpose. Dwl the this we stess over though...mercy me
Y’all peeped how she didn’t use the rat tail comb and comb the relaxed hair?
That’s the trick about texlaxing. Do not comb it out... it will ruin your curl patter.
This was an excellent tutorial.
Actually u are SUPPOSE to gently comb it with a wide toothed comb to loosen the tight coils. That's the proper way.
That's Y so mamy folk are chopping their hair off shortly thereafter ..because the blind is leading the blind.
@@user-zx5xw4yw2e lmaoooo.
Why do people act like getting your hair relaxed is like getting new hair implanted into your hair it's still the same hair that person grew just in a different texture
NiTEVibe98 *Burned straight
Omega Bones well let her burn it if she wants.
NiTEVibe98 Because thats not the natural state of the hair that you grew out of your head. Saying that their hair isnt natural doesnt mean its fake. It just means that its not in its natural state, because its been chemically altered.
Jhopes ARMY shampoo chemically alters your hair as well. If you use it without conditioner it can cause dryness and breakage. Who really cares about texture? If she wants less single strand knots and shrinkage then that's ok.
Teu Chnar I never said it was wrong, and me washing the dirt out of my hair and scalp isn't chemically altering it... It's washing it, just like how we have to brush our teeth to keep them clean and the same with the rest of our bodies. Changing the complete structure of your hair, isn't natural. It didn't grow out your hair like that. Why are people trying to make it a insult and get so defensive over this?
Natural hair nazis be so damn ANGRY all the time lmaooo tf wrong with yall in these comment sections b 😂😂😂😂 do y'all sit n search "relax" and "texlax" to leave bitter comments?? Why does what someone wants to do with their hair to make it more manageable affect yall so much? Y'all need to go tf somewhere. So annoying 😒
@@kidanyefru5293 Does it matter?? That makes her comment more justifiable.
the music scared the heck out me coming out of no where. 😂
lolll
lol!
as soon as I read your comment the music came on & scared the shit out of me.
+Daijah K lmao
ithought iwas the only one iwas extra alert my heart jumped outta my body
So many grown ass natural hair women took the time to come to this video, dislike it and leave hate comments. Really?! If you don't like and or agree with texlaxed or relaxed hair then why watch the video??? Everybody is not the same and if people want to change their appearance then they have the right to do so. What they eat doesn't make you shit so leave them the hell alone! It's not that difficult, honestly, truly...
Not sure why natural haired people are so angry, condescending, and judgmental when someone chooses to do something different with their hair. It's ok for me to wear a wig or weave, masked as "protective styling", but God forbid I CHOOSE to relax my hair. Hypocrite much?
googleuser Gurl preach. And her hair still looks "natural". I dont even understand why people get caught up in that word so much. Shampoo is not natural. Neither is toothpaste, cell phones etc. Some of these people are really trippin.
Weave doesn’t change to the texture of your hair. So there’s a big difference. That’s not being a hypocrite but sure 😂I see where you’re coming from everyone is entitled to their opinion
Simply Natural Yeah, it HIDES your natural hair. So which is worse?
Kandy Kane the one that chemically changes your hair pattern.
All of these people with weave and wigs hiding their natural hair are mad at perms. Insane
I was Natural for two years & I couldn't no longer manage my natural hair. Now, I usually put a just for me perm in my hair twice a year & usually wear braids. #2eachisown
+Lebra Davis Yessss, I agree to each is own! I kind of relapsed D;
I'm thinking about texlaxing my hair because I've been a natural few almost 3 years and I cannot handle my hair anymore.
+lovesomekay lol
+fran.chesca did you ?
+Nasia Tatum Yes. I have a video showing my results. It didn't drastically change my hair so I'm happy with the results.
Some of these comments........ I'm sure there are more pertinent issues in life to be so passionate about. Enjoy your hair sis. Do whatever makes you happy!
+BRITTANY DAVIS lolll (:
yes thank you! must be nice to have so little going on in your life to spend so much time worried about what other people do to their own hair...
BRITTANY DAVIS Not for the cursed ones.
BRITTANY DAVIS here. here is one brilliant comments. luv u sis
The disunity in the comments is ridiculous. Yes she can do whatever she wants with her hair but I find that too many of my sistas are getting frustrated and impatient with their hair. They look at these UA-camrs and see the products they use and think it's going work for them and it's not. Educate yourself and you can do so much with natural. Do a undercut, shaved sides, pixi, heart shape, natural hair clip ins, color, etc.... let's learn how to encourage and uplift each other rather than argue if she's natural or not.
Ashley B i swear. hell I've been natural for 4 years and i had to relearn how to do my hair and what worked for my hair. a texlax is a relaxer that was washed out to soon.
Ashanti Pendleton exactly
Ashley B agreed
Ashley B But don't you understand that's apart of life it's not easy. The choice is up to the individual, we don't get to chose as a group because we have the same skin color.
Ashley B um I'm doing this because of an undercut growing out this natural hair
I’m finding that people obsessed with who is natural and who isn’t somehow are using their hair state as a self esteem boost. I hope your hair isn’t all you have going for yourself. Not once do I find myself giving a damn about what another woman does to her hair. Not once! Your hair clearly does nothing for your self esteem. It also does nothing for your character and treatment towards others. Black women cant catch a break because many of us still have a competitive hateful mentality that needs to be corrected.
*Bingo!* I know this is an old comment. But you hit the nail on the head! That's exactly what it is..I've been saying that for the longest.
I love how it still came out looking totally natural!
Thank you!
But it's not natural.
+alamoja and? you should do what you want with your hair
+alamoja she said looking natural , not is natural
+lovesomekay You're very welcome😊
I like how it turned out. I'm texlaxed as well. Love it. It's the best of both worlds :-)
LongHairPrettyNails Yesss, so much easier, I love it too!
I am considering it myself
How do you straighten you hair? I texturized my hair but I cant straighten it right
LongHairPrettyNails do you texlax with color on your hair?
Almost two years natural and then I texlaxed ,simply because of the shrinkage,it was too damn much !!!didn't feel like working hard to stretch it.
(Update 7 months after,I cut of all the hair, turns out I hate texlaxed hair,it would only look good if my hair was longer,I should've went with a relaxer!)remember ladies, hair grows,do what makes you happy
+PredyJessica Lolll I hear you! So the struggle!
Girl say that!!! went through the same thing!
+PredyJessica same. I like to enjoy my growth when I get some.. my face is way to big for short shrunken hair lol its beautiful and everything but I cant deal. I've went natural 6 times, 6! always go back to the texturizer. its good for lazy people like myself. and I know its odd but I actually experience way less damage, breakage, and single strand knots with texturized hair. its just more manageable over all. no regrets except going natural.. my hair would've been way longer by now if I didn't waste so much time lol
+aliyah adams Same here. Been natural too many times to count. I promised my sister that I wasn't gonna cut my hair anymore. But I just cant take it no more (being natural). So, Im keeping my promise too her - however, Im gonna texturize my natural hair and stay that way from now on. NO MORE FLIP FLOPPING! Like u said - just hv wasted too much time on this hair situation. OMG! My hair could have been down my bra strap by now!
Sorry if ya dont mind me asking but what’s the difference between texlaxing and relaxing your hair?
I had no idea texlaxing was a thing. My hair would still be wavy/curly when I was relaxed but I thought it was because I would be lazy and half ass apply the relaxer. lol
Jaye Andre 😭😂😂me too!!
Jaye Andre Me too! My hair was never straight, most of the reason I stopped relaxing.
Jaye Andre My hair texture was soooo damn stubborn I put a lot of relaxer but it was never ever straight. So I've given up and I'm going natural.
she thought she was killin it with this music. lmao
Lol ikr
hahaa stop,u just killed me with that comment,..the music is hilarious😂😂
+Jaevon McGee kilt the video tho, lmbo :p
+lovesomekay lol
lmao
Girl I remember those Just for me perms back in the 90's lol
+Sublime Samira lol!! yup me too
Not knocking what's for you, but if we had a bit more patience for our length to grow in, we would see that our natural hair is so amazingly beautiful and dope because of its texture. I must admit when mine was shorter I wanted to relax it so many times but be patient and I promise you will not regret it! Gotta get past the first two years of TWA stage! It's super hard but worth it! Just keep healthy hair practices until it gets some hang time. Please my beautiful sistas!
thats true
Thanks for the advice, my hair looks like 4a 4b,with 3c at the nape, big chopped last month, was not Happy, but its getting better everyday, but my problem is Moisture retention. The nape and back is always so soft, but the middle and front is mostly dry and frizzy. Pls advice me
I try to keep that in mind every morning when i do my hair . Its so hard when you go from relaxed most of your life to natural.
+Kwameika Postell Agree completely. The first year being natural, I wanted to slap on a texturizer but after being natural for about 1 year and two months, I loved my hair more than ever.
I been natural for seven years and bout to go back to relaxing it. My hair grow good with and without a relaxer. It just I don't have time to deal with my natural hair, The my daughters, my son and husband.😩
I hate to say it but I really don't see any difference in her hair texture after using this product. Her edges look a little bit smoother but that's about it.
Its texlaxed, not permed. You cant see the texture difference because it too short to really see enough of the pattern
Right
Nor is her wash day or maintenance time going to be any different lol I fail to see the point of texlaxing considering hair requires maintenance regardless of the texture.
I see the difference.
thank you for this tutorial, I tried this product today it came out lovely. My hair is softer and I still have curls I love it. I love whoever made this product. I would of never thought of Just for Me because it's for kids. I'm glad for watching UA-cam enjoy your texturizer.
+C. Willock Thank you love, i'm glad i could be of assistance!
thank you for posting this video... I used the perm on my hair. And my hair came out perfect. I am so relieved I used to hate dealing with my hair.
it came out good...looks natural.. i like it..
Thank you!
freetobeme_ Your new growth will definitely be kinkier or curvier than your ends which are texturised.
I just did my hair using this kit and it came out really great. Even though it was not a tutorial it was still helpful. Thanks doll!
+Lene BellaW (LeneBella) no problem love! glad i cud help!
I think your results came out great! Not too loose & still lots of texture 😍
Thank youuu! I appreciate that (:
I love the way your hair came out and your natural hair is still in tack and easy to manage
I was leanin wit it and rockin wit it to the first song. That was banginnnnn
Awesome! I was looking for a video that showed a way to do this to make hair more managable without it looking so different. This is great, thanks!
Girl I just did mine and love the results!
NG's Evidence yayy, glad to knoww (;
I'm going to try to hold out another year and a half but I definitely plan on relaxing my hair again.
You should try to start at on crown area and then the on sides, the hair tends to be ciarser in those two areas. After that the front and at last the back.
She was saying that to her. Not everyone. BECAUSE as you can see, her hair ended up too straight at the back and processed much quicker than the rest
I considering going back to relaxing my hair..thanks for sharing
It looks the same
FallnAngel07 yeah it looks the same she did it wrong
FallnAngel07 that was the point. Some ppl just want to be able to run a comb through their hair without all that pain
her curls got looser
Lol, I remember when my mom slapped just for me kids on my head when I was younger.
My hair fell all the way out. 😂
+SerenaSims lolll dang, gots to be more careful
+SerenaSims My hair fell out too, relaxers aren't healthy.
+crazymusicgrl my hair never falls out and always grows like crazy when I get a relaxer. I always plateau when I'm natural.
+Maree Taylor So much misinformation, so little time.
crazymusicgrl Girl boo. I take care of my natural hair way better than my relaxed hair. Of course adding chemicals isn't healthy, but that doesn't mean your hair can't be healthy. I'm currently natural with a big fluffy beautiful 4c fro. But is relaxed hair easier to manage and does my hair grow faster with it? Absolutely. Lmao maybe your body just couldn't take the relaxer.
I used to use this relaxer! It did great on my hair!
All of the negative comments...good thing we were all given our very OWN HEADS. So feel free to do whatever you please with your own lmao
thank you! lolll
she kinda have face features of bambam from got7
omg 💀
Yeah she kinda do...
OMG BAMBAM IS MY HUSBAND
You a hot mess..... I still went back to see if she looked like Bambam though.......lol
Breanna Donovan oml she does!
I did so many rewashes myself with a lye relaxer I used in less time. I even used bentonite clay. It truly does get it all out though doesn't change the fact that my hair is chemically altered. But I'm brave enough to do it again when I touch up the roots, and next time I'm going to use green tea powder to clean it out of my hair.
I love this perm for my daughter hair its great.i love it im going to buy this next time when i perm my daughter hair it rocks!
Same thing happened to the back of my hair. I still haven't cut it after my hair grew out and I stopped putting the just for me relaxer because the back of my hair is easier to put in a bun but once the hair in the front get longer. I will cut it!
Thanks this was very informative this really helped me along the way with my daughters hair .🦋
I have shoulder length natural hair. I am Thinking of texturing, mainly because the shrinkage game is too real!! And i dnt feel like stretching all the damn time. I liked your results. Will go and educate myself on the types of texturizers out there. Thanks for this.
your hair looks so cute ... love it
I love it!!! It looks great! Im noticing a lot more naturals with "4b-c type" (don't really eff with hair typing, but for the sake of this comment, lol) hair texture texlaxing. Im all for increased manageability and for ppl to do whatever works for them. Your texlaxed hair looks alot like my natural hair.
+T Paris_O A lot more manageable! Thanks love
basically the cottony/spongy textures want to look and feel more like the silky/thready textures....
I'm 4c, 4b, and 4a and I'll never relax my hair. I haven't since 4 years ago. I love my hair, but I do understand it's a lot to take care of. To each his or her own.
Im texlaxed and it's soooo much more easier! You have really pretty hair!
AlysonGlam I agree, thank you love
I used and still use the just for me relaxer.
lol
my mum always did it and I hated it but it's growing and also I'm used to it.
Love it. Will It work for my relaxed hair
I liked the music, It's always easier to criticize I guess. Beautiful eyes beautiful smile and good advice!
I would have applied the relaxer to the parts of my hair ik are thicker and tighter, me personally I have a type 4b in the crown of my head, 4a around the sides and 3c at the nape of my neck, I would apply the relaxer in that order of right to loose curls, then i end it with doing my edges, that’ll give me a more even finish and keep my hair still looking somewhat natural
And then why are people getting all worked up... it's a free country babe do whatever you want with ur hair damaging or not. You can always grow them back.
Literally been scrolling and seen a few hate comments yall need to chill like almost nobody is attacking her lol
As Black women, we're the mass consumers of hair relaxers, especially with at-home no-lye hair kits. I just wish we could develop a 100% natural hair relaxer that doesn't have the long term health effects as traditional relaxers. We should have the freedom to do what we want with our hair. The issue is having the freedom to do what we want with our hair safely.
I understand that it’s to each it’s own but maintenance is maintenance. If you want long, healthy hair, you have to put the work in regardless if you’re natural or “texlaxed” or relaxed. 3c or 4c , you’re still going to have to sit there and detangle, shampoo, condition, deep condition, etc. Loosening up your texture saves you like 15 minutes I guess but there’s no shortcuts so it’s so crazy how people keep trying to find them.
U just said it... It saves them time ( Maybe 15 min.. Maybe 30 depends on the head of hair)-- So That IS the shortcut lol. So their goal is met: less time and easier to get thru.
Lol didn't even change that much. Went from 4c to 4a/b.
Preach ! I was relaxed and I’m now natural . They both are high maintenance in different ways .
Ladies. If you want to relax, relax. Just know what you call kiddie perms like Just for Me relaxers are just adult relaxers marketed towards kids. There is no difference in the chemicals or the strength between that and Regular Adult relaxer. Also a helpful tip. When you relax or "texlax" you need to apply the product and stretch your hair not just apply the product.
Brittny Cotton Thank you for saying that bc you are right ALL relaxers are the same even a "kiddie" relaxer. "kiddie" is for marketing purposes only.
It helps my hair big time it softens and straightens it
That's my exact natural hair texture!!! I'm kind of amazed lmao
+House of farts lolll cool!
The back (nape) is much straighter than the rest, stretched out ...the nape or neck area tends to be looser compared to the rest of your hair, including the (crown) and (hair line) areas, so next time apply to those areas last because it takes less time for them to loosen up
Hola chica me gusto el video ya que el derriz es lo que usamos la mayoría de las latinas ! desde Venezuela.
Love the curls girl 😍
zhishangliheTC Thank you!
The just for me texturizer is hell omg 😲😱😫
It can be used for just wavy or coarse hair?? My daughter has a coarse hair
What made you decide to texlax? I went fully relaxed from being natural last year but I only relax about twice a year and I use ORS Girls...is the just for me brand a good choice? Are you going to repeat this process again?
MizzLaydee21 Well it wasn't intentionally in my plan to be natural.. I'm not a big fan of the maintenance especially since I change my hair so much. Just makes my life easier (: this relaxer just helps to soften a bit more than it would straighten. I'm still considering going back fully relaxed, keep watching ^_^
I did the same after 2 years of transitioning and I chopped off my relaxed ends. I decided this year to go back to relaxers, I love the thickness but being natural is a lot of maintenence. Sometimes I just want to get up and go, there were times when I had a certain style in my hair and thanks to the humidity my fro would appear. .. lol
+Capri82 Right
the back took really quickly it almost straight back there
Love how it turned out
Ayanna Hogan Yes it did! Thank you!
Hello, I want to texlax my hair. I watched some professional videos on how to relax your hair. They all say to do the scalp last because it processes faster because of the heat from your head. How fast did it work on your roots? I’m still trying to keep my curls.
Hello, I would stick to the instructions on the box or allow a professional stylist to do it to prevent any damage.
aww love it
Your reaction at the end tho 😭😭😂😂
Sally J lollll! ;P
how long did u keep the relaxer in?
Do you still use the Just For Me relaxer on your hair?
Henna treatment stretches the curls and improve the strenght of the hair. It contains no chemicals and you can do it as often as you want. I personnaly mix mine with olive, avocado and castor oil. You hair looks great but I think it's may be extreme for the results you want to achieve. Natural products can actually give you results like that.
Beautifully done ❤️
Thank you! 😊
do we need to wait a certain time (day or two) before washing it for the first time?
+Veronica Vivas No ma'am, wash it out as soon as the processing it complete
You look pretty with your natural fro !!!
Kamryn Ingram lol! you think so? Thanksss ;P
people this is not a texlax... she put in a straight relaxer not chaser... there is a just for me texturizer softer that has a bottle of oil to mix in with the relaxer... I've seen people put conditioner in their mixture or put olive oil in their mixture... but this is a relaxer...
U thought so do too she was natural.
She already said that she did a lot of it incorrectly. But also I think she may have let it process on her head in a shorter amount of time than recommended (since she washed it out right away) because it definitely didn't come out bone straight.
You can texlax with a relaxer. If you compare the ingredients of a relaxer and teturizers they are most nearly exactly the same. Don't let the marketing of these companies fool you. they're exactly the same. Youll get the same results with a relaxer and a texturizer if you leave them both on for a short time.
+Destinie people do texlax with relaxers when u use a texturizer its not called texlaxing its just texturizing
+April “May” June when u texlax ur hair its not supposed to be bone straight its supposed to have texture hince the term "tex" lax
thank you so much I applied my hair mower with Just for me
No prob!
I was natural 4 years and got a perm last week, I was confused on why my hair was curly but I like it
But mines came out really curly
+Yung Yell they say a perm curls your hair. A relaxer or texturizer would straighten it.
Jessie Gillom a perm usually means to make it straighter for the term my family use and a texturizer would be to stop frizz and girl looser curls. I wanted a curly perm that already looked like my 3b hair because it thought it would make it thinner and less frizzy but my mom refuses to let me do anything to my hair other than let it grow or flat iron it (she mostly wants me to flat iron it) 😕
Jessie Gillom not a texturizer. If u don't know u don't know.
davina duhhh that's a *false* statement. RELAXERS and TEXTURIZER S are chemically the SAME thing, exactly the same thing. How your hair comes out straight or not is depending on whether or not you work it through.
I Think The Reason That Back Turned Straight is Because The Hair is Finer As is Mine lol I Would Do That Last, B4 You Do Your Edges. Your Curls Are Bomb. Love it
+lovesomekay lol Ya I Do Too Haha & NP Girlyy
Gorgeous hair
Thank you!!
I a actually liked it.it wasn't over processed.I tried that and mine did over process .nice
thanks!
Everybody's in the comments talking about people complaining about not being natural and I'm literally not seeing any comments like that
hello i wanted to know if it helps with shrinking my daughter hair is long and curly its weird it shrink 80% but only in the summer
hey! yes, it looses the curl pattern but it is a chemical so if not done properly, you can damage her natural curl pattern.
I think am going back to texlaxed, your hair look nice...
Beautiful 🥰❤️
is that a texturizer or relaxer I want to know because it worked good on your hair it looks pretty much like a texturizer it's so pretty but it says relaxer on the box so and please also what was your natural hair type
I believe its a texturizer or softener
Lol i like your instrumental!
+Avriana Askew Thanks!
i’m black and a boy. will my hair get patches?
What's the difference? Her hair looks the same
Noelle Morgan hair is easier to de tangle. The point of texlaxing is not to make it straight but to just loosen the hair a bit while keeping an Afro look
I wanted to know I have very fine thin and curly hair with extra sensitive scalp and perms don't take at all in my hair none of them so is there a product out there that you may know of that can work on my hair????? AKA flat irons don't work either help me please
Marita Cooks well if your are looking to permanently straighten you hair, maybe look into the keratin treatment.. Not sure of any other methods love
I have a question does this work on all types of hair ?
+TheDuckie23 I'm not 100% sure but if your looking to soften your texture than yes
how long does a kiddie perm last 4weeks 6weeks 8weeks?
how macuh inede were i gate pls tell me
Like the results, but I'm considering doing this with a Texture management system. My only gripe is why people wash their head in the kitchen sink next to plates, cups and cutlery. irks me for some reason.
+princessCaribou1 Loll the biggest sink I guuess.
You're very beautiful! Your features are to die! 🙏😍😍😍😍
thank you my love!
What is the point of "textlaxing"? What does it do how does it work
thank you my sister
I wanna try this when u flat iron your hair for a quick weave will it straighten like your leave out
Teana Harvey well I can get those results w/o this process but it does make it a lot easier to remain from frizzing
+lovesomekay what do u recommend for heat protectant
I don't understand how u still have a curl pattern in your hair after a relaxer .. I relaxed my edges one time just to loosen the curl and I left it on my hair for 5 min and my hair went completely straight 😫 it took me forever to grow it out ... and I used the same type of relaxer
The back of your hair is what happened to the back of mine lol!! I just ended up cutting my hair into a tapered cut 😅😅
yataBEAR Lol D; I can't take anymore cutting!
I think that if you combed it with the relaxer in ,it would of came out better. Still not bad!
Talluhah Hampton o
how long were you natural before applying the relaxer?
+BeautyEffect Fully natural for atleast 9 months!
Do you know if this product is safe on colored hair?
I wouldn't recommend it for colored hair
