I’ve never seen where someone flipped over a braid when finishing off the braid but kudos to you sis I’m having a difficult time placing my fingers in and finishing off the bread I guess the underhand braiding is my problem but I think this would be a great idea for me to try thank you so much for sharing God bless
Lol I actually had no idea I did it differently from others until recently but it works, it takes times to sort which is best for you but keep watching tutorials, it helps!

I think its b/c I don't braid tight and I keep the braid in a downward position
