I only have one sink and garbage disposal is right under sink drain, which then goes down into the p trap. Can I install the black drain water after the p trap? What is the problem with doing that? I guess if water somehow pushed back in the drain, maybe from the dishwasher, and got into the black drain tube, it would have to go all the way up to the faucet before it contaminated anything and that is even above the sink drain height so water would go into the sink first I would think. Right?
Thanks for watching, the instructions do have a step-by-step guide on installing the system into a set up exactly like yours. As you mentioned, water may push back and contaminate system…if not installed properly.

You are very welcome, if it did not come with instructions, take a very good look at everything to ensure all parts are present as well as in perfect condition... in other words not used. A box with no instructions may be a box that was purchased and returned by someone at some point. Keep us posted on your DIY project.

At 4:16, you install the drain adapter. What do I do if I have a single sink that has a garbage disposal attached to it?

Im having a hard time getting the reverse osmosis filter out. It wont turn. Any advice?
I come across the same issue. Did you fix it?
I had to get a big wrench to twist them off and then the center one after replacing was hard to turn to the right. Not that eady at all to replace.
