It’s been many hrs since we installed brand new GE RO system, no water in tank or through faucet yet, doing the 24 hr purging. Do we have to instill pressure into tank prior to installing?
Thanks for sharing this, is your system fully installed & all lines inserted into proper fitting inserts. Also verify your filters are properly secured into filter case... however you do not want to over-tighten the filters as damage may occur.
How conect one like this with a heater
Hello! Me again. It's been almost a week that I have been using it with no problem. Today it started a constant "gurgling" sound and it seems like there is water flowing through the black line to the sink. It doesnt stop, I am afraid it's wasting water. Any suggestions?
Thanks for reaching back out to us. Did anything come loose? Constant flow and gurgling is usually related to a few things.
1. Clogged filters
2. Too much tank psi
3. Clogged Flow Restrictor
4. Damaged Auto Shutoff Valve
5. Damaged Bypass Valve if installed
How to change the water filter
Could you tell me why the water coming out of the faucet is a very little amount of water. Does this have something to do with the pressure?

Thanks for the reply. You may have to re-pressurize storage tank. Below is a link to our video showing the steps. The RO system shown in this video link is a different GE model but the concept is the exact same.

so strange..just installed and it's making a constant gurgling noise. Almost like the sound of water running down a sink drain slowly. Any ideas?

Hello, do you know why is still leaking water for black hose return ?
I meant the water is returning for the black hose
Water is leaking from the tank plug. I already disconnected and reaplied teflon. Any suggestions?
Thanks for watching, that’s no fun. Do you see any signs of cracks in the line itself near fitting…?…if not…the fitting itself may need to be replaced.

Actually i was able to fix it by removing, reinstalling but more tight. Originally I was afraid to do it too tight and damage.

Why does a lot of water come out of the hole in the back of the tap??? I bought the system twice and the same thing happens!!

Are you referring to the air-gap slot on the faucet itself? If so, the drain line is not properly installed or positioned…or…the tank is over-pressurized.
I changed filters and battery but it isn’t blinking red or blue. Anyone know what I can do

Anyone know what the difference between the red and blue lines are?

Red line is used to feed water up to faucet & into air gap cup where it will be properly disposed of through your black drain hose.

My filter system is the GE RO system. I can not (twist) pull out the stage 2 (RO membrane) filter directly, however, I can (twist) pull out the stage 1 and 3 filters quite easily. Are there any differences replace methods between the stage2 filter and stage1/3 filters? Thank you.

After a few months, the led light started flashing red. And now it doesn't pour out as much water.
