    UPDATE** I have not changed the filters in this system since installation, we do use it for drinking water, about 3 pitchers a week. Today I tested the PPM which was a 16 PPM. In comparison, distilled water scored 6 on my tester. Based on online data 250 PPM - 500 PPM is still safe to drink and my unfiltered city water tested 256 PPM so I’d say this is is still working very good and I do not see a need to change the filters yet.

    One of the best how to videos I've ever seen. Clear and concise with a dash of humor. Short and to the point, just my style. No body needs to lose 2 hours on any how to videos. Learn fast, work hard and play as much as you can... Life is to short! By the way, your baby girl is very cute; we just got our third baby the Sunday before last... Hope she'll be as grateful as yours.

    Bro, what is the different between T33 filter and Resin filter? Some RO system that i saw is written with "T33" after RO membrane. And I also found some that written "Resin filter" after RO membrane. Is it the same thing?

    • @EspressoSh0t
      @EspressoSh0t 2 роки тому +1

      T33 is a carbon filter usually out of coconut shells which helps reduce taste and odor in water. The resin filter filtrates impurities and contaminations of small particulate.

    Is the water flow out of the faucet ok or is it slow? Wondering if a permeate pump should be added.

    • @EspressoSh0t
      @EspressoSh0t 2 роки тому

      Because of the reservoir tank you get a good flow u til that is depleted then it slows down to about a glass of water a minute give or take. Hope that helps. I don’t believe a pump can be used as the water must take its time filtering through system.

    how do you make sure the saddle is aligned with the hole you drilled in the drain pipe? Seems like that would be important , but you can't be sure it's perfectly lined up!

    What was your PPM reading when you first installed your system? Just installed mine yesterday. I’m dumping the first two tank fulls of water. The city water is 185 PPM. The first RO tank had a PPM reading of 57. The second was 24 PPM and now it’s at 11. I guess I’m happy with it since the Kirkland bottled water measured 13 PPM.

    Dam I needed you to show that last step of letting it drain. Can you add it in? Mine just has such low pressure, and instruction say turn of tank but turn on faucet flow ...

    • @EspressoSh0t
      @EspressoSh0t 2 роки тому

      Ideally you would drain several gallons before using tank however you can let the tank fill then empty completely if you prefer then repeat a couple of times. Pressure is low because it is filtering real time instead of using tank reserve. Your local water pressure also has huge impact on this, product has water pressure requirements or you need a pump to aid.

      City water here is like 260 PPM and that is acceptable, I personally would change sometime between 50 and 100, that would be optimal taste I believe.

    I'd like to know what the pressure regulator does in the input. This needs at least 35 PSI up to 80. Does it pressure limit to 80 if the line pressure is higher and thus it's a safety thing iff...?

    Great video man. Just one question. Do you have to drain the tank? I don't understand the function of the tank. Why does it only have an inlet and no outlet?🤔
    Thanks again man 👍🏻🧔🏻

    • @EspressoSh0t
      @EspressoSh0t 3 роки тому +2

      No need to drain the tank, water automatically flows out as needed back through the filter and out the final water outlet when faucets is opened, tank is holding storage for processed water. Water takes time to filter so having a tank allows you to fill up a big pot for example without having to wait for water to be processed slightly slower.

    Hello, I did everything you did, ONLY thing I couldn't do is connect blue clip on fitting in filter side where u connect straight fitting , I did it in 1 side, but left other side without it plus waters on now and hose hasn't pop out,, also how long would it take till my fridge gets full flow, coming out slow, n thx for video , u made it look easy

    • @EspressoSh0t
      @EspressoSh0t Рік тому

      Should be fine those clips have a good bit, you can put blue clip but will need needle nose pliers. Tank gets full depending on your water pressure. Remember to flush 2 to 3 times. Fridge flow will depend on your water pressure as well as the distance from the fridge. hope that helps

    Nice tutorial. Is the drain connection required? I’m installing directly to and only for my fridge which is across the kitchen from my sink so I won’t have a drain there.

    • @EspressoSh0t
      @EspressoSh0t 3 роки тому +2

      Yes a drain is required because the system makes clean water and throws away the dirty water, that's where the system ratio comes in, this one is 1:1 which means for every gallon of clean water a gallon of dirty water is drained. What you could do if not installing under sink is to buy additional tubing and run the drain line all the way back to the drain along the water line that is coming to your fridge from likely the sink. Hope that helps and don't forget to hit like and subscribe,

    Just changed all 5 filters, but there's no water flowing from stage 4 RO to stage 5 T33 filter. Only water comes out of the drain/waste water valve on RO filter, but there's no clean water comes out of the clean water valve to T33 filter. Any idea?

    • @EspressoSh0t
      @EspressoSh0t 2 роки тому

      Check that the filters didn’t come with a cap inside or something. Check your piping routing. Sounds like you bypassed the filter and went to the drain. Clean water should come from reservoir tank not a filter.

    • @runninghighOG
      @runninghighOG 2 роки тому

      @@EspressoSh0t Thanks for the reply. I've already isolated each filter to test. Water flows through the first 3 filters smoothly. When I plug in the stage 4 RO filter only water comes out of the waste water valve that goes straight to drain pipe. Nothing comes out of the valve that goes to stage 5 T33 filter. RO filter is brand new with 3 caps that I've already removed.

    • @EspressoSh0t
      @EspressoSh0t 2 роки тому

      @@runninghighOG Looks like you have everything right. I would say that the filter is somehow faulty. Try to contact manufacturer to obtain replacement for that one. .
