  • Do not attempt this. If you do try to recreate this,you do so at your own risk.This is not a how-to video,this is how I make my own diesel. Making diesel from waste motor oil, using waste oil burner,and filtering through my modified centrifuge/juicer.

    Your setup is really amazing. The most simple and effective I found on internet. I will try to do same as you. I hope next time I write here is for telling you I had success :) Thank you very much for the videos!!! Greetings from Spain

    Karl I will definitely be following this diesel project. I have seen another process like you are doing but with plastic. You heat the plastic and distill the vapors into diesel fuel.

    Yes, we are interested in how your burner is made, though it looks like our home oil burner that we purchased many many years ago for lots of money !
    Yes it would drip out and not run out. - - - A drip valve like from the hospital for saline drip...
    Could you use coffee filters to get a clearer result?
    Does it really matter for the big boss heater you got outside?
    Wow - I'm pleased you are safe and well, that you are brave enough to even try this (because let's face it, these times are 'trying' (us!)lol) and stay safe!

    You have to have a sludge drain or coking become a problem within the reactor there will also be off gassing is dangerous and the gases are flammable also needs to be temperature controlled if you run too hot it will be pyrolysis oil it will be out of the temperature range an oil will be very difficult to work with

    I’ve just built my second diesel machine, and just so you know I run my mrs car on it (common rail injection) and it runs fine on it.
    I use sodium hydroxide and ethanol mix to clean mine works well

      That’s nice. I’m a novice and don’t know much about common rail injection, do you mind giving me a typical example of a common rail injection car? Eg from the year 1990-2000 diesel cars are all made of common rail injection. I hope you understand me, and please how do you use the sodium hydroxide and ethanol mix to clean the diesel fraction and what process do you use. I would be glad if you could educate me on this.

    That is AMAZING!!!! I knew oil has all the fuels, gasoline, diesel etc but always assumed you need a really special technical setup with precise temperature control, prolly do to get the super clean stuff you get at the pump but you have demonstrated how much we could get from the raw basics. So quickly too and not much condensation pipe either.! I am going to try this myself just to impress my mates lol, not worth it for me otherwise, I just burn the dirty stuff it does me fine. Fantastic video.

      I appreciate the kind words! I keep it as simple as possible. I'm going to buy a small diesel engine and test it just how it came out of my centrifuge. I want to avoid chemical treatment if I can.

    • @Moonlightshadow-lq4fr
      @Moonlightshadow-lq4fr 5 місяців тому +2

      I wouldn't have thought you would need to treat it, but maybe a wider condense pipe 1/2" maybe and a U bend or something you could remove to collect the debris before it goes into the container. I don't like the idea of using chemicals that pretty much all the free diesel channels tell you to, there's a chance you could ruin the engine if acids or strong alkalines are in the mix. If it burns clean who cares!@@karlsoffroad8609
