Thank you for the reaction. Ozzy's Crazy train on SantaMonica pier was the attention getter for me. This is the second cover I heard from them and it set the hook. I think the one that made me a fan was "Sail Away". As of now I have everything they've done including the vinyls. Just waiting on Album 3. This is the first time I think I've ever wanted to not just hear a band live; but, meet them. They're such a cool family! Cheers. And enjoy the road of discovery.. it just keeps getting bigger and better with them.

Hello my friends. I'm home till Sunday. Just caught this. I figured it was Clinton when you told me there was a donation. This is younger Liliac. Some Fangs miss Ethan on guitar. MeloDia has great instincts on the bass. My favorite video from their Chain of Thorns album is Chain of Thorns. On the original version she compliments Sam's solo. The Revamped version, I have on vinyl, it's not there. I think you may be one of the few that would catch it straight away. Great reaction Heather and CaptinFaceBeard! Hope things are well. If you want to hear a band of super talented musicians that plat tight, have fun, and are under the radar still....check out Dirty Loops. The song "Work Shit Out" is a great intro to them.
Now I want Liliac to cover a Nickelback song so Captain FaceBeard can enjoy a Nickelback song after it has been Liliac'ed
If any band could do it it would be them. What I want Nickleback to do is come out with a deep Prog Hard Rock album to shock the world, but they don't have the depth.
I hear ya on being betrayed way back then even though I wasn't massively into metal at that time since Priest about five years earlier. This hit where I was perfectly but I can easily see where metal fans would think they sold-out. These guys are awesome. their Rainbow In The Dark cover is the best cover I've ever heard of any song from any band. That deep rasp in her voice are incredible.
I look at those songs on the Black album differently now. There are some wicked songs on that album. I never really liked Unforgiven and Nothing Else Maters, but that is just me personally. Liliac really are incredible. Her voice is amazing, and it's only going to get cooler as she gets older. I would love to her her sing a Chris Cornell/Soundgarden/Audioslave song.

Yeah, I was just kind of rolling back into hard rock/metal so I thought it was awesome. Didn't actually hear some of their older stuff until afterwards even though I knew who they were.

Despite not having a corporate music industry backing they are slowly but surely heading for the top ,which in this era of social media is becoming increasingly more effective . Liliac was my favorite family band. I still dig their stuff.. but I've found THE WARNING .... They did Enter Sandman at ages 9,12 &14 it has 24 million views... If you look @ some of thier stuff when they were the Cristeas ...they were really young then, Sam was the lead singer back then & he has a really good voice.

I never had a problem with the Black album myself, except for the lack of real cover art. The songs were still very thrashy, just not as progressive as the original 4 albums. But yeah, they just about lost me with the Load/Reload albums. Although some of those songs grow on ya over time. But to tell you truth, I'm not intimately familiar with any of their song after Garage Days, Inc.
I was 14 I think when it came out, young and confused why the band sounded so different. Looking back at it, it is a great album. At that age I didn't want the bands to evolve, but a couple years later I got into Prog Metal/Hard Rock.

I'm really not sure why bands do covers, unless it is totally different arrangement. Maybe it has a finacial benefit- hoping to atract fans of the original. The Black Album was the best album the moment it came out.
For a young band like this it would help them to find a fan base. Some will dislike, but others will be interested in what else the band does. Though I personally prefer covers that completely reinvent the song. Chris Cornell called it "The Art Of The Cover Song". Omnium Gatherum's cover of Maniac from Flashdance is a perfect example. Or Chris himself doing Billie Jean.
Can't hear the BAND. And we don't know what you are hearing because your mic gain is up to the point of distortion, at least that's what I'm hearing. I know you guys are better than that.
You're right Joe, the Mic is too loud. Sounded alright before it went up, I have had another couple of videos do this. It might be the processing the video goes through after upload. Thanks for pointing it out, helps me to prevent it in future videos. Could be worse, the first video we watched in that stream we didn't realize something was turned on that gave us Chipmunk voice, HAHAHA!!

So when I get feedback like yours it helps me to make my content better and get closer to growing our small channel to a point where I can regain an income, while helping to support Independent bands to find new fans.
