It reminds me of that story about a country that went to war and instead of loosing soldiers in the war they came back with a extra soldier in the army
That was Liechtenstein, whose army in 1866 returned with one extra person after having done literally nothing during the Austro-Prussian War. The identity of the extra person varies depending on the source but no one has refuted the story either. Liechtenstein disbanded their army in 1868, almost certainly saving the rest of the world from total domination by the Liechtensteiners.

from my understanding of his older series is CK3, the game engine doesn't handle super long campaigns very well. It tends to get bogged down, glitchy, or just slow at some point. I'm pretty sure that's what killed the old 100 stat man videos: his save file ended up crashing the game every time he tried to load it. Longer-time viewers might have more info, but I remember there were tech issues with really long games.
@@Fyrefrye Really? Cause I've done two campaigns where I conquer the whole world in CK3, one of which was in the World of Darkness mods where the game never ends and you can reach modern times and I really didn't have much problem even though I'm certain my computer is much worse than his. Then again maybe it's just because, unlike Spiff, I actually dismiss the messages instead of letting them hang around his screen forever.
@@giantWario It's also possible that because some of those older videos were of slightly modded versions of the game, it was less optimized than usual. Or that the series/save files were bricked by game updates. (either killing the save itself or one of the mods he was using)
Nice... Big Dave's army is so skilled, one of them shot theirself in the foot, before even the invention of the gun, and died fighting thin air. That takes some serious talent.
I'd love some follow-ups to this glorious adventure! In fact, I'd love to see you continue until you've literally conquered the entire world with Big Dave.
I’d very much like to see a continuation of this, perhaps even into a world conquest. Is it possible to go north, Hybridise with the Mongol culture, and create the Mongol empire? Even if you have to convert to Tengri then back, or even improve Tengri to have the same tenants.
I’ve been playing as the rurakids and have taken over all of Europe and Russia, the year is 1057. My knight effectiveness is at 560% and my people are still tribal, so rebellions are very easy to crush and rarely happen. I have Viking time at arms, horse archers and catraphrancts. I only use men at arms in an army and at 4500 or so of them, they can and always will stack wipe up to 15,000-20,000 stacks. I broke the game a bit my people also don’t stop breeding and I’m not sure why as I’m still base atrau faith and haven’t gone up anything that gives more fertility. Yet there’s 2000 of my dynasty. Edit: since I’m still tribal, I have slowly and almost completely changed the worlds governments to tribal as well. And I have 60,000-100,000 prestige by the time my ruler dies nearly every time. So my men at arms never get any debuffs from lack of prestige
@@Magus322 this was 6 or so months ago so forgive me if my memory is a bit off. Or if there’s been any patches (haven’t been on for 2 months). If you play as tribal you can get a tribal government buff when you get your court, like bellicose but mainly focused on knight effectiveness. I can’t remember the buff strength off the top of my head but it’s there. Reform(or diverge up to you) your culture and get “only the strong” that’s a bonus 100% knight effectiveness. Now I can’t remember (again it’s been 2 months for me and I’m re-downloading the game now) but I think the vikings start with an extra 25% knight effectiveness in their culture, if not then just get “right to prove” or something like that. Which gives another 25% knight effectiveness. In the martial tree you can get chivalric dominance, another 75% Manage royal guards, a marshal task from the court DLC, is another 18% Of course a legendary weapon, can’t remember the strength of mine but it easily added 8% minimum. I had 4 duchies with the military academies built, another 200% And a horse that I can’t remember the % increase but it wasn’t that High if I remember right. Just from the ones I could remember that’s already 426%. Then there’s the strength of your knights too, since I bred nothing but gods my martial would have 30-40 martial skill, keep him only on training the knights and the knights get buffed to hell. When my game is downloaded I’ll load the save back up to try and see the rest but I know religious sights also added more knight effectiveness, just can’t remember how much.
@@Magus322 WAR CAMPS, that was it. Not the duchy military academy building. Stay tribal, do not go feudal. Cuz then you get access to war camps, which give a lovely +1 knight, heavy damage 4% and toughness 2% and knight effectiveness 10%. Along with archer bonuses too but I mainly used Varangian’s and huscals. This is just tier 1 camp, all of mine were tier 2 so just double all of those stats. You can build and stack non stop, just build them in every settlement you own. It’s fucking busted

Your heart's been aching but you're too shy to say it
Inside we both know what's been going on
We know the game and we're gonna play it
I just wanna tell you how I'm feeling
Gotta make you understand
Never gonna give you up
Never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around and desert you
Never gonna make you cry
Never gonna say goodbye
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you
Never gonna give you up

Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you
Never gonna give you up

The FitnessGram PACER Test is a multistage aerobic capacity test that progressively gets more difficult as it continues.
The test is used to measure a student's aerobic capacity as part of the FitnessGram assessment. Students run back and forth as many times as they can, each lap signaled by a beep sound. The test get progressively faster as it continues until the student reaches their max lap score.
The PACER Test score is combined in the FitnessGram software with scores for muscular strength, endurance, flexibility and body composition to determine whether a student is in the Healthy Fitness Zone™ or the Needs Improvement Zone™.

Me: Ah yes, perfectly balanced.
I mean jesus created a bearded hobo who sort of did the same thing, Egypt are noobs
@@anon2447 Are you referring to Moses? Moses was born several decades before Jesus, so listing God would be more time accurate. If you're referring to someone else then good on you for knowing more about christianity than I do.

That was so fun to watch. Please make more stories using the same broken system.
I already became my OWN God in Royal Court. Even posted my review on Steam, if it's visible. It's quite lengthy, but the short of it is, I'm very disappointed my sword could not for the life of me get a legendary reputation for carving through both Britain AND France! And I was playing as an Irish viking dude.
Nice; the new DLC really adds some of the cooler culture/society aspects I always liked about Stellaris to this game for sure. Speaking of, wonder if there are any new spicy exploits in the revamped unity update for that game?
You did it Spiff. You beat the game. You really are the warhammer 40k.
Try using Lenkas and Mubarizun MAA. They have insane stats and counter : spearmen/light cav + spearmen+heavy infantry. Combine with Elephants and everything dies. The only real counter to elephants becomes cold weather+mountains (or paiks - which no one outside india can have).
Please actually conquer the whole world, that would be amazing.
from my understanding of his older series is CK3, the game engine doesn't handle super long campaigns very well. It tends to get bogged down, glitchy, or just slow at some point. I'm pretty sure that's what killed the old 100 stat man videos: his save file ended up crashing the game every time he tried to load it. Longer-time viewers might have more info, but I remember there were tech issues with really long games.
@@Fyrefrye Pretty sure his Hundred Stat Man videos were CK2, not 3. CK3 is, from my experience, a lot better optimized.
@@akiranara6404 Fair. been a while and I forgot when/where those fell exactly
(either killing the save itself or one of the mods he was using)
You've gotta keep this going ... Big Dave needs to storm the papacy
"THIS SERIES SHALL NOT END TILL SPIFF HAS CONQUERED THE WORLD"-SUN TZU THE ART OF SPIFF.
i was thinking Spiff Tzu - The Art of Tea. XD XD
"Sun Tzu said that!" -Soldier
Sun Tea the art of Spiff.
Nice... Big Dave's army is so skilled, one of them shot theirself in the foot, before even the invention of the gun, and died fighting thin air.
That takes some serious talent.
Please continue this. It's a shame you never get to far in the game despite being a god
I saw Marching Stompy Boys open for Soundgarden back in ‘96, just after they released “Unkillable.” Really underrated show.
I'd love some follow-ups to this glorious adventure! In fact, I'd love to see you continue until you've literally conquered the entire world with Big Dave.
I really want to see a Big Dave Conquers the Whole World video, I reckon it would have a lot of potential, and maybe even some spicy civil wars!
This recent "Spiff plays God" series, got me thinking. How much coffee must a tea-drinking Brit like Spiff drink in order to come down to God's level?
Far too much. Rumor has it that God has been trying to tempt Spiff with Tea Flavor coffee for years just to try to catch up.
I wasn't expecting your 40k references
but it was a wonderful surprise
I’d very much like to see a continuation of this, perhaps even into a world conquest.
Is it possible to go north, Hybridise with the Mongol culture, and create the Mongol empire?
Even if you have to convert to Tengri then back, or even improve Tengri to have the same tenants.
Yes, I would love to see Big Dave conquer the entire world.
Was the immortality a mod, or an edited save file? Excellent video, as always Spiff. Thanks for the upload!
Must be a mod, just checked, there is sadly no immortality yet :(
This video was a lot more fun for me than for anyone else, since people actually call me big dave at school
I broke the game a bit
my people also don’t stop breeding and I’m not sure why as I’m still base atrau faith and haven’t gone up anything that gives more fertility.
How did you get it so high?
In the martial tree you can get chivalric dominance, another 75%
Manage royal guards, a marshal task from the court DLC, is another 18%
Of course a legendary weapon, can’t remember the strength of mine but it easily added 8% minimum.
I had 4 duchies with the military academies built, another 200%
And a horse that I can’t remember the % increase but it wasn’t that High if I remember right.
This man could play a game where all you can do is walk and he would still find a way to break its balance.
after watching Spiff for almost 3 years i have become so powerful that the Like Button clicks itself everytime i hop on one of these videos that he makes.
This video is absolutely brilliant. You are in form, Mr Spiff.
Even unoptimized, I was able to keep a treasury of around 20K while only holding the Empire of Scandinavia and a couple of extra kingdoms. I am certain they will nerf that pick into oblivion.
Wow spiff had telepathic or what....3 days after i installed this game and boom, this video enter my recomendation youtube👍👍
Weirdly enough one of my first playthroughs of the Viking expansion was to make Viking India with Viking War Elephants. Nice to see they've streamlined the process.
Please do continue this series! Seeing the crusades crushed was fantastic. Maybe the Mongol hoards can be next!
Pray the viking elephant riders of House British find victory. May the Yorkshire Tea Schism be healed by the greatness of Emperor Big Dave and his massive nose 👃 🙏
Oh the legends of the Davepocalyps and the adventures of Tiny-proportions are the sagas which have to be told to us as it is prophesized in the great book of the Spiff! "And thou shall behold the time of Yorkshire Tea when rivers will flow hot and Big Dave will take a sip of the water, and thou shall then hear the proclamation 'This be a glorious Teatime!' by the Big Dave."
-These have been the words of the Spiff.
I love when this guy uploads he’s a legend keep on going (also love big dave)

Perfectly balanced as ever spiff.
I am glad I am not the only one that really enjoys playing as one character throughout all of history xD
Indian Viking Hybrids? Sounds awesome.
I can picture a scene similar to The Fields of Pelennor for Lord of The Rings.
That's a Knightmare army!
You know, I had always wished that the Norse Viking traditions and way of life had actually spread much further then it did and had survived to this day. if only the Vikings had won and taken over Great Britain rather then assimilating into it, then maybe even America would be more Viking to this very day. lol
Spiff, You should see the pantry that Colin Furze is using for the tunnel entrance to his home, completely full of Yorkshire Tea.
Ah yes, as we all know, the emperor unites everyone, the primarchs win everywhere, and everyone is happy forever. No need to see what happens next, everything is fine.
To be honest elephant archers sound much cooler than lan raiders.
