  • "I had the opportunity to ride an electric motorcycle called Eva Ribelle, and it was the craziest ride I have ever experienced! With its impressive speed and the distinct sound of the straight-cut gears, I'll never forget that ride. The English Electric Motorcycle Co. lent me the bike for a series that we filmed in 2021. However, the question remains, Is this motorcycle practical for daily use and how far it can travel before needing to recharge? You can find the answers to these questions in the video."

    I own the lower spec Energica SS9, and have gone out on a couple of 300-400 mile runs with some friends who own Eva's. Its a solid bike, and is slightly more efficient than my SS9, meaning it gets about 5-10 miles additional range per full charge. Overall this is a really nice bike, just a shame about the price really.

    Ive ridden one of these and was very impressed. I'd buy the Experia touring version. My bikes get used for trips and touring and the EXP fits my use best. I have an EV so im used to charging etc. Energica are the best of whats out there at the moment, in my own opinion.

    I know this is a set of older videos so you have probably been told this already but the car at 1:51:30 is a Ronart Lightning V8

      @@spicy110 Also, good to see you doing well, I've not been subbed for a long time. Glad you are still around, a lot of the motovloggers I used to follow are basically gone now :(

    With electric bikes they unlock additional possibilities. Twin motors, a motor on both back and front and the possibility of 2WD.
    i could see with the right tech, this could be amazing.
    Only downside is no clutching. How do you overcome this ? Low speed manoeuvre.
    Also back brake pedal or left lever brake ?? Some seem to have this or not

      @spicy110  5 місяців тому +1

      Yer you treat it more like an auto and drag the rear brake. It takes a bit of getting used to but as the power comes on so smoothly it is pretty easy. Re 2wd you have to see this ua-cam.com/video/5g9ibOlOVuM/v-deo.htmlsi=qWf8aQC0Y3tcPwCe

      @@spicy110 interesting.
      Sounds like it feels different.
      Off road dirt bike / trails would be so much fun with 2wd

    I don't think it's worth that amount. Chassis and cycle parts are common to all bikes. Chains are cheap, frames, forks, tyres etc are common to all bikes. The specialty is the battery, motor and charge system. I know it's not the same but the CF MOTO 800MT has good quality parts and a KTM engine. It's 11 grand. I just can't see that as much as i love this bike it's not worth that much. It's an awesome bike and I'd def have one but...30k?

      I think it can be put like this, is it expensive? Yes. Is it overpriced? Compare it to the alternative with the same capabilities and no, it's just the price.
