For the money these cars cost, when you throw a bit more money at them they’re such sick motors. Mega respect to him for not going down the path of getting a more common car to get those sorts of power numbers easily
I had a mk1 g plate mx5 it only had 50,000 on it was mint went to skuzzle last year to have some Meister r’s fitted and enquired about a turbo set up I didn’t want the usual td04 route I like you wanted 300hp+ with a Borg Warner efr turbo but to forge the motor was the bit that made me shy away around 7k all in all,hope you got it done cheaper and the car looks great 👍

One elderly owner from new, garaged for the last 18 years, absolutely mint inside and out, 56,000 miles. Very pleased, drives excellent. Dark blue colour. Replaced stock wheels with some nice split rims, just bought a torsen 2 4.1 LSD. Next is lowering springs (I know, should be coilovers lol), and a hardtop. Then turbo parts, as is another turbo build (aiming for about 220bhp using td04), so nothing crazy, but enough power for me. But yes, very pleased thanks...
If you upgrade your pop up game then this is gonna be the second cleanest Miata I've seen in my entire life. There are really beautiful led jeep lamps out there that fit right in there
Honestly, builds like this just prove how incredible of a deal the Miata has been (although, prices do seem to be climbing unfortunately). If you have, say, 25k to spend on a cool japanese sports car, you could go with something like an s2000, which is a better platform, but your leftover budget wouldn't really allow you to do anything too crazy to it and you'd be left with more or less a relatively stock car. The miata on the other hand, you can pick up for say, 5k, and spend that remaining 20,000 on making something insanely fast, unique, and personal. Cars, in my opinion, are as much about self expression as they are about driving (note: "as much", if you're into that stance life, good for you, but that's not really for me- im a big driving enthusiast). Although something like the s2000 is a better platform, you have to ask yourself, for what they're exchanging hands for, is it really that much of a better car over the miata, or are there some diminishing returns with an almost 15k higher asking value? Granted, I'd be scared shitless to drive a car like this one. People don't understand the balls of steel you need to drive a fast Miata. Not only are they caskets with wheels, but the short wheelbase and borderline 50/50 weight distribution make for an extremely snappy car stock. Adding power into the equation, especially THAT much power just sounds terrifying.

Super clean build, absolutely love all of the additions made...but why make it sound that way!? I've never understood taking a pleasant sounding exhaust and making it sound like a space shuttle disaster that sets off the alarms of all of the parked cars around it haha.
Sounds insane... like if I had heard that id be looking for some Nissan or Honda the way it's revving!... My 91 BRG is turboed and puts down about 300 at the crank..it is nowhere near as insane as this one in both sound and throttle response! Mine has a larger turbo on a stock 1.6, so it has a lot of lag. If this were BRG with the same wheels in Bronze...I'd give up my left nut for it :D

Tom Riley this one has quite a lot of money in it but it’s such a well put together package it competes with cars way more expensive

True putting a lot of power in these little engines puts a lot of strain on them
Most people have never driven a 200+HP one and decide they want 350hp out the gate. 275 is far too ballistic for most to use as a daily.
