Dude. I have been wondering why Flyin Miata stopped offering that package. Thank you for continuing their legacy on that. I will now refer people to your business.
They did a video I think or I read on a forum that they were a small company with a handful of guys and they didn't have the manpower or the time to be doing those big projects for customers so now they stick to smaller work.
Flyin’ Miata is the best thing that’s happened to the 90s car enthusiast world. Can you imagine if every classic platform had that level of passion and engineering behind it?
This is culmination of a man's dream. I'm beyond words the level of admiration I have for this man. He chased a dream and succeeded. The car is absolutely magnificent. He brought the best of both world's together. The Honey Badger logo is sick. I love everything about that car. Cheers to you for creating a work of art sir.
I love my 2SS 1LE 6th gen Camaro, but this is the dream. Chevy's LT and LS engines, that sweet Tremec, and the Miata experience all in one - just awesome.
This comment made my day… I’m a huge fan of them and love their production value. I do the best I can with the tools & time that I have and to even be put in the same ballpark as them is an amazing compliment in my eyes.
Incredible news. I'm so glad you kept doing the LS swap. I saw one of these Flying Miata LS swapped cars at the track and it was amazing. I loved the way it was killing the Corvette guys at the track in the straightaways, and they couldn't do anything but lose ground. Ultimate sleeper car. Interested in the handling and track experiences so far band dyno and lap times. C'mon Lawrence, please, tell me more!
The ND Miata really is the total package to do this with. Especially the RF body. It’s a perfectly sized package that looks great and has all the modern stuff and some of the best driving dynamics.
Had me at the Bucee's hat. Seriously, though. Great presentation/editing in this video. The passion and intellect this man has will hopefully propel him to great sustainable success. Best of luck to SSSP!
Well, now I gotta take my 94 ls2 Miata for a spin after work today lol! I can’t imagine a cammed ls3 with 3.91s in such a light car. I’m still scared of my factory ls2 with 3.73!
Man oh Man!! You can just see, with the way it behaves, that this is a solid piece of machinery. Just looks amazing and has a prowess that conveys quality all the way! Excellent work, Sir. Something to definitely be proud of... congratulations 👍👍
I got one of FM's very few DIY kits back in 2018/2019, built it myself but with an LS7. I got 517hp at the wheels, so it makes for an interesting ride, that's for sure 😎 Mine gained about 150kg/300lbs but then gained almost 400hp, and the front rear balance hardly shifted at all, still very close to an even 50/50. I'm really amazed how this little car handles all that power with such grace. It's obviously an expensive conversion, but the level of detail and quallity that goes into it are really exceptional, and it really looks, feels and behaves like a factory built car. You could of course compare it to other similar priced modern sports cars, but how many gives you that true sports car feel from a RWD, manually shifted, NA engine car? And you will probably be the only one with such a car at any car meet etc. you show up to. If my numbers are correct, FM built 8 turn key cars including their own, and then sold 4 DIY kits, that's a total of only 12 cars, compare that to any so called limited edition car. And to all of you who has nothing better to do than bashing on this saying that it's not a moden AC Cobra and that it should have had a Ford motor bla bla bla, just go build something your selves instead and have some fun. It's obviously no modern AC Cobra, but it's built with the same philosophy, small light sports car with a big V8. And just for the record, no modern Ford V8 would have ever fitted in the ND like an LS. @Lawrence, thanks, it has been nice chatting 👍
I was fortunate enough to see one of the flying Miata conversion cars, one word, awesome! The detail in the workmanship and the quality of the parts outstanding had a conversation with the owner and while it was a pricey swap not much more than my C8 Corvette!!
i was thinking about this earlier today, that ls-swapping a miata is like what shelby did. so i searched for it and sure enough there's a company doing just that. very cool. hope all is well after the storms you guys just had.
All I can is WOW!!! That is an absolute amazing build. The attention to detail on that build is next to NONE!! It would take me awhile to drive it just because I would be stuck looking at everything done to it. That is an amazing build! 👍🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Great car! It's really good that you picked up this program and kept it going. Don't need music over the sound of the car.
This has to be one of the best "resto-mods" around and certainly my new favorite LS-swapped car.
It’s just “mod”, as there is no restoration involved in a new car.
Instead of resto mod, he meant bad azz car! @@pauloakes6952
Love the build, you can see the pride and passion Lawrence puts into these cars.

I liked the fact, you filmed it in my home state of CT. Lime Rock Park and the streets of Thomaston CT. Nice whip.
A thing of beauty. Does this have auto rev-matching?
Really well done conversion on an ND, must be a blast to drive! The video came out great as well, looking forward to the other 3 videos!

Awesome work man! I’m a VW/American Muscle car guy and have always wanted to see someone give this car the power it deserves. Bravo!

Gonna need all the b roll you got on this monster! What a beauty!
It would be interesting if Mazda dropped that inline 6 turbo they have in the cx90 into an mx5. Not as fast as an LS, but would be pretty quick.

The V8 Bullet mazda was a limited edition production made in QLD Australia in 1999 .
Are you able to share the approximate cost for the conversion?
You could buy an ND Miata, a 5th gen Camaro SS, and have enough money left over to buy another ND Miata, and another Camaro SS.
So about 50 thousand Canadian?
I thought it was about $70k usd w/o the car
