Thank you very much for taking the time to show us in detail how this mixer works. Could you please, based on your experience, evaluate the preamps of this mixer?
there are some small wishes for A&H: 1. it to read usb sticks not formatted in it and 2. Connwct with Dante systems... or is there a way for it somewhere showed? 😮 Tjanks a lot anyway!❤
I love your presentations - so thorough and easy to understand! One thing puzzles me… The CQ series is praised for all its amazing features, but no one (not even A&H themselves) talks about how they actually sound! All other mixer manufacturers brag about their amazing mic preamps, all of which have exciting names like Xenyx, Onyx, Midas, etc. They all say they sound great. But how does the CQ sound? Is it good for live gigs with small rock bands, or can it also be used for demanding multi-channel recording of, for example, a symphony orchestra? Classical solo guitar? Opera singer? I haven’t had time to test it myself yet, so it would be great to hear your opinions on this.
Thank you for the video. It was very informative to help me decide about it. I have an un-related question tho... what's the system you are using to control the camera framing/zoom with one click of a button? Thanks!🙂
Hola, excelente video. Es comoatible con android ? Ademas , cada canal multipista se puede ver en un daw externo en la pc como por ejemplo studio one? Gracias
has anyone found video how to use this mixer with timecode multi-camera ATEM switcher setup recording, and avoid a lot of extra DA-AD? I hate using Zoom F6 for that...
Thank you for taking the time to go through all the details. I just bought my CQ - 18T and I benefited immensely from this video. However, there’s one more thing that’s driving me insane and I think you didn’t cover it. So the issue is with regard to the use of recording using USB. I use Logic as my DAW. So basically when I choose USB multitrack then I am not able to hear my play back from the DAW while recording with the headphones. How can I record at the same be able to play my backing track using the USB ? Is multitrack play back and multitrack record simultaneously supported?
@@johnchitambo the reason I haven’t been able to discuss this part is that I don’t use the CQ 18T in combination with a DAW as I’m using the CQ during live video streams. A quick search with “CQ” and “Logic Pro X” shows a few videos that might help you
Delivered yesterday 👍🏾 All good so far! I need to buy a new SD card to test the recording. I’m using a dual mixer set up. SSL Six AND RME handles Sampling and Conversion into the Akai Force, the CQ18t Main Outs pulls all my instruments into the SSL 1&2. CQ18t is also collecting the SSL Six Main Outs (after the G Series Compression) for processing (PEQ & Feed Back Assist) and recording to the SD card. No PC.
what a walkthrough!😮 thanks. Have had it for 3 months. What i hope is to get brighter colors to the Chanel identification to qwparate them better and moren letters to rename chaannels, but i am just and old s-songwriter producer with a childrenmusic group!😂 Wonder if anyone Elsa needs the same?
Allen Heath doesn't have support for their products, only knowledge base. I bought CQ 20B recently and can't connect with CQ app on desktop computer. I used Ethernet cable. Guitar Center also didn't help me, just gave me instructions how to return. By the way I used many keyboards, plugins so I am pretty experienced in digital field and this connecting iss probably a simple but tricky issue.. Goodbye Allen Heath, never again.
Tks for sharing this detailed démo ☝️
Thanks very much for the detailed clear explanation and walk through. Like your presentation style. Very clear.

@@digitaldiezel5870 that’s awesome. Hope you enjoy it like I do mine!
You can record in multitrack all channels if you change to 48 kHz
Awesome straight to the point... 👍👍
Hi.
What firmware version is discussed here?
(Can't find a reference to the version anywhere)
Can you create a mix bus for livestream where you can change settings without affecting the house mix?
Is there a de-esser in the pipeline? A basic tool for any live mixer
i remember seeing it on other reviews that it does
Hopefully it will be recognized in the Akai MPC's now.
I only have one concern. The Bluetooth connectivity is not reliable. I have cq18t
@@jeremiasjaymejr2001 agreed it wasnt great but seems more stable with the latest update which includes stabilty work on bluetooth and wifi
Hi i just want to ask if there are eq in auxiliary outs? Thanks!
yes
What does 10 minutes of countdown that could easily be edited out get you?
@@suqmadiq68 thanks for your feedback. I don’t really edit my liveshows on purpose. But I’ll take it into consideration
@suqmadiq68 It's to make the channel look important. Stupid people are impressed by this.

Did you ever solve the issue? If yes what was it?
Tell me your going through a router and not a direct LAN connection to the PC
