Self investment. You can learn more about life if you find time alone and put all your energy into your mental development than you will in college. So much more to it, but you must make a conscious decision to be a better version of yourself. Study your pain, and learn your weakness so you can develop your strengths. College cannot teach you this.

More than your average bballer, a fully well rounded and educated individual with something I see so many people in life lacking: a passion, drive and the work ethic to make things a reality. Like he said, if you have passion, the journey will be the dream. Follow the passion, find the challenge, and live the dream. This is the first time I've ever watched a CNBC video. They should thank Kobe and have him appear regularly. Even if you are poor, it's great to watch these financial shows it's educational!

Kobe was going to conquer life after basketball. Probably even surpass MJ. SO SO SAD.

I'm a Bulls fan..grew up watching the Jordan era...Kobe surpassed Jordan in about everything including personality and maybe close in basketball. Kobe really is what Jordan should have been. In Chicago there are no MJ gyms or special things he does for Chicago- he literally is a great player only but not a great person-unfortunately.

Rich Lo wrong. Just cause he isn’t doing them in Chicago it doesn’t mean he isn’t doing them at all. He does many things for the community in the NC Charlotte area.

@@rhdtv2002 I know everyone is upvoting you because of Kobe's passing. But you really should just Google "Michael Jordan Charity". There are countless times Jordan has gave back to communities.

Watching all these Kobe videos is making me want to do better. I too have always had a curious mind, but I’ve spent my whole life being undisciplined, lazy, ran away at the first sign of failure, was a quitter, blamed others. He’s taught me a lot since he died, and has given me a lot to think about. (I only knew he played bb before he passed, knew nothing about his personal life). I’m going to do better.
