The Full Mask Overlay by Red Dragon is designed for HEMA and adds an extra layer of protection to your fencing mask. The back of head protection features a series of articulated rigid plastic plates allowing for a combination of protection and mobility. The heavy-duty cotton hood is padded to absorb impact from blows and features a contoured hard plastic plate to protect the throat. The 8 ventilation holes (4 on each side) provide excellent heat release without sacrificing protection. Features and adjustable webbing strap with Velcro attachment for a comfortable fit.
This mask overlay is excellent entry level protection that will fit most fencing masks and we've priced this competitively to make it more affordable for new students.

I have this overlay and found that it did restrict my movements a fair bit, there is too much padding on the shoulders to move freely. However, I took it to a seamstress, and they cut off the bottom of it and it works much better now.
