After cycling through hot sand in France 🚵and then Spain,on my Folding E bike, looking forward to this review .What i loved about France is the love they have for cyclists ,and it shows in there road layouts. My husband had squeaky brakes,he tried fix then himself, and ended up like Fred Flint stone=no brakes.Love the 2 camera set up,and the canal looks sublime.Love the E bike your reviewing, and was thinking watch the wind on your bike, man with dog 2 points thinking death bike 2000,and kamikaze pigeons, and low flying tree's.very pretty were you live the area .And great you use it for work"unless raining cats and dogs"😁Now if that was me hubby go"is camera Ok?" Hope your knee Ok,as mine is still playing me up,and i feel never going to get better, you can get sports pads for your knees.Nice getting a cup of tea from phil"not my hubby lol".I really enjoyed this review debs xx ps and agree Alway 's wear a helmet, unless like hubby in France he got his nicked 😱🇫🇷
Yes there’s an idea for a video. Deathlike 2023. Hmm knee is getting there thanks Debs. Still stiff but then I am no spring chicken anymore. Hope you are both doing well. Best wishes from Glos vegas. Ps we are back down your way in September. Would be good to meet for a chinwag. 👍🏻🚶🏻♂️🚶♀️

I was here at the premiere, but had to use my phone as we're busy, friday's arnt great for us at the moment, but had to show our support for our lovely Watto. This was a great chilled ride...well up until the canal hehe. But loving the look of the Ado, looks a great bike, really interesting and seems to pick up some speed which is also handy. A super nice day for a ride out, Glos looks nice! A great day for a fishing comp especially by the canal, nice to see. Great to see the narrowboats too! Really great you're out and about on the bike, good for the soul! Having a mushroom on your head is cool... as is keeping your swede hehe. Rock the Swede Watto! You can deffo see the terrain getting much tougher and so uneven, bless ya. Just glad you're okay, probably bruised! aww. Just glad you're okay!! An excellent video, as always, enjoyed watching and joining you! 🤟❤
Thanks Alessa. Really appreciate you coming along as always. With Brett. Yeah the ground is a bit bad in places and I just got it wrong tbh. Small cut and a bruise but I bounce well. Always wear my mushroom. Might buy some knee pads. 🦵🏻🤷🏻♂️. Have a great week. Catch you soon. 👍🏻🚶🏻♂️🚶♀️🚴♀️
Great day for a bike ride 😎 Ouch 😳 that smarts. Next time don’t tried to leave the rut just follow don’t steer or brake. If you need to slow while in the rut just use the rear brake.
Hi Watto, loved the bike ride then Ouch!, glad you weren't too badly. A lovely cycle along the canal, lots of lovely scenery and nice that you bumped into a few people you knew. Thank you for sharing x Julie and Tony x
Thanks guys. Hoping to do some more in the bike as something a bit different for the channel. Thank you for watching. All ok just a small cut and a bruised ego. 👍🏻🚴♀️🦵🏻
Great ride out on the bike. Looks like plenty of gadgets on it. You can't beat a ride down the canal...well when you don't get stuck in a rut. Glad you and the bike survived the altercation 👍
Thanks Paul. Yes I do keep adding bits to it. Probably should just ride the thing tbh. All mom mate just a small cut and a bruised ego. 🚴♀️👍🏻. Thanks for watching. Have a good week. 👍🏻🚴♀️
Looks like a great bike! Bad times with your crash. It goes pretty quick! Loving that you pass an ambulance at 5mins!! Shape of things to come? Canal side was lovely. Nasty tumble, glad you’re ok. Fair play in dodging the branches! Great ride 🍻
Yep the ambulance was an omen. We are lucky being so close to the canal. I need to work on staying upright for sure. A rolling Watto gathers no branches. 🤣🤷🏻♂️🌳🚴♀️
When I lived in Brockworth, I hated the commute to Benhall & then Oakley well before the days of 'The Doughnut'. An ebike would have been ideal back then. I'm glad you were OK after the tumble. Those ruts are definitely iffy. Between that and dodging the branches. It's good that the bike was OK, but better a broken bike than a broken arm. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Chris. I’m ok a bit bruised and the bike stood up to the test. Interesting you say about Ben hall and Oakley. My sister worked there for a very long time before she married and moved to Scotland. Thanks for watching my friend. 👍🏻🚴♀️
@WanderingwithWatto I joined 86 initially Benhall counting washers then got a shift job at Oakley. Much more interesting. I worked with Radio Officers and whinged that they were getting paid more. To shut me up, one said, "Go and do your RO training." I went to Taunton for a year (now closed), and then after training, I moved to Cheadle (now closed). After that, to Scarborough. 96 I gave it all up to be a Psychiatric Nurse. Now there's a radical change, lol. Dad and Brother both worked at the same firm, but like me, all retired. I enjoyed my time but don't regret the career path either.
Hello Watto 👋. That’s cool bike 👍. Sorry on what happened to you falling down 🤦🏼♂️. 21:06 love ❤️ the views here very peaceful road near the river as well. Stay safe always. Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪.
Awesome little bike Watto. Oh no my heart stopped when you took a tumble 😱😱 At least you didn’t land in the water!! A morning swim would not be welcome 🏊🥶 Are you going to get one for Kim so you can go for rides together?? I hope you’re ok as sometimes the aches and pains don’t show up for for a few hours after an accident. Take care be safe my friend.
Thanks Dave. Kim also has one slightly different to mine so are hoping to get some footage of some of the local area by bike. I was also glad I didn’t end up in the canal. Still bruised and stiff 2 weeks later but never mind. Nothing broken. 👍🏻🚴♀️🦵🏻
I used to love my old mountain bike but got rid of it about 10 years ago after yet another flat tyre and I hate messing about fixing them. I must admit I have looked at these EBikes before, then saw the price, gulped and thought better of it but they do look good to be honest. The canal looks perfect to bike down and nice and flat too and I am with you on the helmets, I never fancied a broken swede either. Do the fat tyres make any difference to punctures or are they just for comfort and that bikes seemed to go over quite easily, which was not good. To be fair it did look good and as I am tipping 16 stone now I was always worried about taking my weight now. Wounded pride and a wounded knee, it could have been worse, cheers Alan
Hi Alan. I was the same which is why we bought our e-bikes. This one is around £900. So in the cheaper bracket. It folds so we can take in car to different spots and even park where it’s free and ride into villages etc. I got the fat thee version simply because I am north of 20 stone and I can say not only is it comfy but the tyres soak up lots of the terrain. Having not ridden for 20 year or so I am still a bit unstable which is why I crashed instead of just riding the rut and letting the bike take me through. But a mistake painfully learned. Overall I would say you would be fine and the fat tyres are good although they offer more road resistance so if you run out of battery it is a heavy bike to pedal on its own. Though I have done it. At my weight I get about 25 to 30 miles using pedal assist but the lighter you are the more range you will get. Hope you are both doing well. Take care. 👍🏻🚶🏻♂️🚶♀️🚴♀️
Great bike ride, except for the little accident! Living in Australia, we're just used to wearing a bike helmet when riding a bike. It's been compulsory here for years, so I do find it strange when I'm travelling to see people riding bikes helmetless.
I love my ebike. Bill wants to get one. Ours don’t fold though. Medic!😂😂. One more time in slow motion. All kidding aside we’re glad you’re OK. Those bikes are pretty tough. As obviously the rider is too. 😂
Nice ride Paul until your accident (good to see you get back on and ride off) Got to agree riding to work over your car journey is a no brainier good fitness and saves a few pounds too🤠👍) All the best maté regards to Kim 🤠👍 Simon
Cycling is great exercise but it really bites when you fall. Most of my tumbles are unglamorous ones, usually involving slipping on curbs. 😅 Ugh, I felt your pain but am glad you were ok. 😊 Some of those trees maybe need to be trimmed, too!
Hi Watto I am sorry to hear the fall. I hope you don't have any bone fractures It was interesting to know PPL periodize the importance of their belongings separately I hope you are really ok, but just boo boo bandage on the knees. Do you often bike for your leisure? You will take care of yourself.
Thank yes I am ok. Just a small cut and bruising. I use the bike for getting to work and also Kim and I enjoy getting out together when we can on our bikes to just enjoy the outside. Thank you for watching. Have a great week. 👍🏻🚶🏻♂️🚶♀️🚴♀️

Hi there. Yes I have commuted for over two years on it and rarely use the throttle. Some times at traffic lights but other than that. It’s not needed. Hope this helps. 👍🏻
I want to buy the EU version with the throttle, however, on ADO's website they have mentioned EU version doesn't comes with throttle and it can't be unlocked. Only pedal and electric assist mode. Did you brought from there official website or somewhere else?

Good advice Brian. My main concern was not shooting g into the canal in the other side. 👍🏻🚴♀️
WOW 28minites, will have to leave this one till the weekend, it's almost my bath time😋
Wonderful biking tour. That’s the great way to enjoy beautiful nature. Glad you were ok for falling and you are great ❤️👍👍
Thanks guys. Yes I enjoy being out on the bike. When I’m not falling off. 👍🏻🚴♀️
This bike looks so cool. Im sure it is a dream to ride.
It is very cool and stood up to the test. It certainly makes my commute better than sitting in the car. Thanks for watching. 👍🏻🚴♀️

oh my gosh be careful!!

Ah do it mate. it does free the mind. Er but don't fall off 🚲
@@WanderingwithWatto I will learn from other's mistakes ;)
Nice equipment 😊😊 Shame you are trying to destroy it 😁. But on more serious note - it looks like a very nice route for a bike trip, I'm quite envious.
😳. Yes I do need to stay upright really. It’s a very good bike and does the job for my commute.
We are lucky to live so close to the canal. Nice to just go free the mind for a bit.
Thanks for watching. 👍🏻🚶🏻♂️🚶♀️🚴♀️
We have the same electric bicycle but mine is the battery is when I use level three for too long is will low but too fast
Using the throttle will always use more battery. Pedal assist and it gets easily 25 miles for me. 🚲
Do u think this bike would be ok to use without a throttle?
Hi there. Yes I have commuted for over two years on it and rarely use the throttle. Some times at traffic lights but other than that. It’s not needed. Hope this helps. 👍🏻
Is your bike international version that comes with throttle?
Hi there. No it is EU version that comes with throttle not fitted but is very easy to fit yourself. 👍🏻
So it's a third-party throttle or ADO sells it separately?
No it came supplied with the bike. It is just not fitted. so just need to fit.@@stebinstephen3635
I want to buy the EU version with the throttle, however, on ADO's website they have mentioned EU version doesn't comes with throttle and it can't be unlocked. Only pedal and electric assist mode. Did you brought from there official website or somewhere else?
Sorry...i know i shouldn't have laughed
Steve I expect nothing less. When I watched it back first I was laughing my head off. At least I didn’t end up in the canal. 🤷🏻♂️👍🏻🚴♀️
