  • This is the second Altered Tin Tutorial I've done over the last two weeks. It's sort of my "Do Over" since I didn't actually do the last one from start to finish. The only part I left out of this tutorial is the painting of the tins. I think the instructions are pretty good on that process though.
    I hope you will all enjoy this one and get a little more out of it. It sure was fun putting this one together.

    Hey! A while back I ordered a 3-in-1 corner punch. If you use the 4mm corner, your business cards will float in, no problem!!! And I shall say how BEAUTIFUL your works are!

      Thank you for letting me know. I actually moved my camera back because in my last video someone said I was too close. I appreciate hearing from you because I didn’t think I was too close.

    Carol, your tins are absolutely gorgeous! I do have a question; would I be able to skip the painting part if I purchased white tins? Or do you need that "primer" paint so everything will grab onto the tin?

    • @refunctioncrafts4928
      @refunctioncrafts4928  2 роки тому

      Hi friend!!! If they are already white you don’t need to do a thing. I love getting the ones that are already painted!😁. Blessings to you friend!♥️♥️

      Thank you my friend!! Nothing added to the resin. It’s just one bottle that I squeeze on the piece and spread around. Then I just put it outside in the sun to cure for around 1/2 hour

    Do you print using a laserjet or inkjet printer? Thanks. P.s. your art is beautiful!

      I actually have an ink jet printer. Usually they aren’t the optimal choice, however I love mine and haven’t had any problems with bleeding or fading. ♥️

    Carol can you tell me what is the resin you used? I just bought some but dont know if its the same as what your using. Do you use that little blue light thing too with the resin. Thanks

      I posted the link on Amazon in the description menu. If you have trouble getting to it please let me know. I love it but there are many good UV resins that work great. I like this one because it doesn’t seem to have as much of an odor when I’m working with it as some f the others. Good luck and enjoy!

    the second reason you don't want to paint them open is because they don't close and open properly.
