Really enjoyed this repair, loved the location, loved filming it and most of all, really loved this car!
Web for buying tools and glue and spray plz
@@a.kaiyummemon8970 most of these can be found in the description:-)
I can't imagine any paintshop being able to do as good as a repair as this with a full repaint.
Agreed. He repaired a really tricky dent on the wheel arch of my AMG...on a sloped drive, outside. He left it as good as new. He’s a miracle worker.
on the first dent, I totally understand why you pulled the majority of the dent up and then knocked down the high spots that came up because of the stretching of the metal caused by the initial dent; you actually had to shrink the metal by knocking it back down as you pulled up the low spots. A guy named Karl Fisher over on Make It Kustom actually taught me a lot on stretching and shrinking metal. I never understood the process of removing dents until watching some of his videos on metal shaping.
This is the most legitimate channel on dent removal I have seen! Great videos!
This man loves autos and loves to see them in mint condition. This is how he has stayed so dedicated and continues to keep motivation to do these videos. 💙 keep the passion going mate!
Thank you, I haven't posted for a while, but hope to have some new content up soon, really appreciate your positive comments, it means a lot! 😉
@@1st_track_dents with all the rain, Id struggle to post at all. But Id say with that kind of cloud coverage it makes for better visuals of the damage with your light vs all around sunlight which is blasted all directions.
@@SweeneyDunston Yes, the perfect working/filming conditions for me is a dull cloudy day and working in the UK they are usually the everyday conditions lol 😁
@@1st_track_dents 😆 Just hang in there mate. You got yourself a long hauler here. 😉 Good on you for comment respnses. Great way to grow the community.
@@SweeneyDunston Thanks!
He dont care where he parks that.
Well done jake as always.
I don t even have a car but fine craftsmanship is always very enjoyable to watch , congrat for this nice repair.
Really appreciate the mock ups, illustrations and cutting of a door to show us the amount of detail you went through!
Thanks! 👍
Amazing work!
What does a repair like this take for time and how much did this cost?
Thanks!
It took me watching other guys on UA-cam doing dent repair to realize just how much of a master you are at this. You are truly skilled.
Thanks for your positive comments, really appreciate it! 😉👊
he is not just a master on this he is also a good teacher
Great job Jake, as always!!
Always an education watching your videos, love how you present and the cinematics are brilliant. Thumbs up as always!
This guy is amazingly skilled and talented. He's by far the best PDR Technician I've ever seen! Really a treat to see him wield his magic. The best!
Профессионал высшего уровня👍🏻 Very nice 👍🏻
Thank You!
What a beautiful car. Excellent job!
Spot on with the filming and the repairs.
Especially enjoyed that you used the one bar of the light to view the dent yourself and used the other one for filming.
I like the method of shrinking the crown of that sharp dent as you push it out. I can see how that weakens the dent and makes it easier for the center crease to get pushed out! great process!
You’re video editing is great!!
Thanks, it does take a lot of time and effort, and I always finish the job wishing I had got more camera angles:-)
Masterclass video! Thanks for all the interesting details.
Skills . Great videos Jake 😎👍
Amazing piece of work...well impressed with your skills! 👍🏻

Красивый авто и классная работа. 🤘
You sir, have given me hope. Thx u . I assumed you'd have to remove to whole interior panel
It would be cool to see some customer reactions when they see the final result.
Very informative video. Looking at just doing my own cars. Thanks
Perfect job again as usual. The time-lapse shots are very good, you can see the dents disappear in front of your very eyes!!
Yes, now you see it, now you don't. Thanks for watching:-)

Hi Jake quality work that must have taken some time and effort to produce for video really appreciated thank you great stuff can't wait for the next release.
Thanks Bill, when the sun is shining and you're working on a nice car, in a nice quiet part in the countryside it's a joy to film it. Most of the time i'm trying to film in a busy side street with rain!
@@1st_track_dents Hi Jake viewed it in koh samui Thailand sun was shining back to Australia next week.
@@billramsey800 Enjoy the sun Bill, I worked all day today filming a job in non stop freezing rain, got absolutely soaked!!!

Thank you for your positive comments:-)
Nice Work
Thanks friend... Jose.. . medellín Colombia!!!!
Thanks for watching Jose!
Amazing, very good.
Thanks for sharing great 👍
very nice and professional work. I just wish that all bodywork repairment were at least 50% of this skill. They all use fillers like there's no tomorrow. I had an accident a few years back and all of my panels were filled with an exhorbitant amount of body filler. I was disgusted as the insurance paid for it and they used crap filler to "fix" it. And then I go and watch a real repairman fix an absolutely twisted fender which I thought was unfixable in 20 minutes (of course this guy was expensive to hire but absolutely worth his time)
Yes, I used to be a panel beater for BMW and before I learn't this skill, I must have filled thousands of dents with bodyfiller, looking back now, all those jobs could have been in and out the workshop in a couple of hours instead of weeks!
Amazing job 👏👏 Tempted to get you to do the dent on my clk but the cars not worth much. Also got a small dent from what looks like the end of an umbrella on my z4. That would definitely be worth doing. I’m in Essex, can I come to you?
👏🏻Vvery excellent👏🏻
Πολύ ωραίο αυτοκίνητο, πάρα πολύ καλή δουλειά

Lovely Jubbly, how do you get so many dents, dodgy car park maybe or tight garage.
Thank you so muchhh
Молодец! И без перевода все понятно показывает!!!
Спасибо за просмотр моего видео!
Jake amazing as always. A question was this laminated glass??
No thankfully not, I wouldn't have gone down the window if it were:-)
The videos are great, I learn a new tip every video! Gives me confidence to start giving PDR a go. I just get worried I’m going to break the window with the pressure of pushing on the rods. Any advice on that?
As long as you are using a very good window guard and the rod is not touching the glass it should never break. A metal felt backed one is what I use. However just be careful if the window is laminated (double glazed) as those windows are extremely fragile and can break very easily, they are normally found on high end vehicles like Range Rover, Bentley, some BMW's and Mercedes although they are on some other vehicles too. I check every glass first before going down the window:-)
ماشاءالله 👍 great work
Amazing
Really like your video's, surprised that someone hasn't created electromagnetic pullers for you. Place them on the vehicle, turn on the power, pull the dent, turn off the power and your done.
Qoil zo'r chiqibdi ofarin
You bend 'em I mend 'em lol
Все Ваши работы высший класс,смотрю вас в России,очень интересные ролики.Продолжайте в том же духе.👍👍👍
Мне интересно знать сколько вы работаете PDR технологией.
Why the hell somebody pushed dislike button for this amazing video? 🤦🤷
Bottom feeders.
Your a genius
Hi, Alexandre, talk from Bolivia. How much this work???thank you
Great tunes...)
Do you ever use a way of measuring the temperature of the paint? And do you not like the lights with the fine lines?
No, I just know how hot to get the panel, you only need gentle heat. If you was leaving an Infrared lamp against the panel for a period of time to dry paint , then it would be important to know how hot you are getting the panel as they get very hot. Regarding line boards, my preference is always a fog board as it is easier on the eyes, however I may incorporate 2 or 3 lines on my fog board to help with finishing dents:-)
Молодец мужик. Не бухает. Делом занимается
Really enjoyed it. Thank You.
Are You using only nylon tips or there are different ones like ABS?
Hi, there are tips made from so many different materials that I just couldn't list them all, I prefer Rubber and the plastic vinyl tips and some of the PVC coated tips 👍
I'm asking because I got 3d printer so I can make myself few from abs or petg
@@karolalbin You could try, the tips and knockdowns aren't too expensive and it may cost more to print them by the time you have worked out your electricity and plastic costs.👍
For my first set I'll buy them and that's obvious but in future if I'll have an idea for different shape of tip I can print it. Printing small tips like this will cost less then 10 pence 😜
@@karolalbin Sounds great, I know how to model in CAD but can't afford a 3d printer yet, so if you come up with something great send me the stl files and I can print one off too whe I eventually get one! Good luck 😉
That Merc when built had the most powerful naturally aspirated V8 in the world
Yes, I would have loved to take it for a spin afterwards!
Which reflector do you use????
Здравствуйте. Не могли бы вы рассказать подробнее про использование экранов для защиты стекла.
Я постараюсь сделать это в будущем видео, спасибо.
I like it I subscribe
Hope you priced this job up, as the replacement cost of that door would probably be enough to buy a good used Jaguar XK8.
You must have so many customers that you are limited by how fast you can "knock them out"!!!
Webchez bet he’s coining it 👏🏻👍
How much did you charge for that job? just curious.

Thank you!
Hi i have a question. i have never done any job related this before. but i have a good hand skill. Do you think that i can do it by myself as a job. by the way i am 35. i really like this job i do want what i want and happy. And a last question Independently in how long can I open my own shop? Thanks for know i love all your videos
Hi, this is a job that does take quite a long time to learn so be prepared to have to put the hours in. Some people pick it up quicker than others. It does require very good eyesight and you do have to be very fit as you have to squeeze yourself into tight areas of the car for hours at times. I would say practice with an old panel in your garage first to see if you get a feel for it and don't fall into the trap of buying thousands of pounds/dollars worth of tools, when you only need a couple of basic tools to get started. Depending on your progress it could be a few years before you have the skills and confidence to open your own shop, but it could be sooner if you are a natural and pick it up quickly! I wish you all the best! 👍
@@1st_track_dents Very good and informative explanation i appreciate this ❤️
@@carsnboys You're welcome 😉
The question we all want to know is: Does Jake ever use the head of that hammer?
Ha ha! I actually spent 17 years as a panel beater using the other end of the hammer, then when I started using this Paintless method I had to turn the hammer around the other way! It just feels comfortable to me and now it's become a habit:-)
@@1st_track_dents Whichever end you use, you're an absolute master! Keep up the good work, I really enjoy watching your videos.
Is that gaffer tape?
I cuando sale el audio español ?
Would it be legal to call your business Dental Care?

No quiero imaginarme cuanto cobra por un simple golpe...
Is this a magic video? Saw it but don't believe it, this guy should go on Penn & Teller Fool Us.
How do you recommend to remove it
You would need to find a local dent repairer, who should be able to help:-)
