Thank you everybody , I failed to mention that I use the carrier 2 for Vocoding with an external keyboard... luckily now we have the 1.5 update and Manuel update as well . Happy vocoding !!!

Hello Justin, thanks for your very useful video. Still trying to get my vocoder vocals TOGETHER with the choral patch (zone) so when I play the FANTOM they BOTH sound together. I can either get my vocoder vocals or the choir patch (zone) but not both at the same time. What am I doing wrong? Many thanks for any advice!
Idk why the vocoder wouldn’t work for me? I followed your video and the sound my microphone went through when I turned the vocoder off but whenever I would turn it on and go into the edit menu to change the sound I would only hear the sound and not the vocoder. I’m not sure what I’m missing.
Mmmm I would say make sure your zone is selected and vocoder is highlighted in both the zone view and effects edit screen . Hold a chord and it should work ! You’ll get it .
Justin Carey oh you know what I might have forgot to turn it on in zone view when I switched to an initial zone. I’ll have to try again later after work and see.

I’d say you could record it as a sample than trigger the sample via the sequencer

Make sure the vocoder tracks are armed , the red/green buttons. Once those are lit the sounds will play together simultaneously.
