Beatiful Peugeot! Hope we see lot of these on roads.😊
Great stuff. 435 miles (700km) range, which can be easily beaten with relaxed driving, is super attractive to me as I do a lot of long-distance driving. A test drive is a must.
You will NOT get 435 miles. Guaranteed. Possibly 350 if you're lucky, 250 in the winter. Trust me.
@@RobertSmith-le8tgOr just chrck the range for different weather conditions and cycles...
Looks like an exciting step forwards for Peugeot! I really like the styling and the Obsession Blue colour, smashing it as always Tish 🌟
Gorgeous absolutely gorgeous and I don’t just mean Trish (who is fabulous) but this beautiful car
Tish
great video of the new e-3008 yes i love this car , like your funny out takes too very good
Car refreshed, Tish REFRESHING!💖
Wow! So much allure! Another fantastic car from Peugeot
Indeed it is! They’re on a role!
Is it me? Or did we miss the back.
No backo U rite
Great vid and like the new 3008 and range can’t wait to go and see it.
The long range option is a headline no doubt. The design is appealing, especially when compared some "odd" looking EVs from the large country thats not the US. Of course price will be the deciding factor for many people and hopefully Peugeot will be competitive with other similar EVs. Can't wait to see some road test reviews.
I enjoyed watching the Video. I like the New styling and the New Interior design as well 😊
Thanks so much for watching and glad you liked it!
tish, is gorgeous as usual🥰 looking forward to test drive this ”big brother e3008" nxt yr🙏🏻
I have a 3008 and so was interested to see what they do here. It will probably come down to the power mainly- as that is my main criticism of the car I have (under-powered for me) ; but comfort , general design and practicality are great. Thanks Tish- liked the bloopers too.😁
210bhp/157kW Standard Range, 230bhp/170kW Long Range, 320bhp/240kW Dual Motor (For the electric) I think the rest is TBC.
Loved this review! Great car too!!
I'll keep it short and sweet. Right off the bat: the colour!! Ingaro Blue looks absolutely stunning. All the more reason why those gloss black fender flares are a massive zonk for me personally. Those should be colour matched😭
What's more impressive: an EV with over 430hp or an EV with over 430 miles?! Tough choice, but damn this car is dazzling!!
Looks great, this EV has big potential.
Good work Stellantis.
I'm looking forward for an alfa romeo or lancia vehicle using this platform
Maybe a new opel insignia to
Tish looked stunning in those black boots, not gonna lie.
Love color on that Pug too.
Looks great
Nice car !!!pretty!!It is very cool !!
Interesting looking vehicle and impressive range - although it's yet another Stellantis product we in the States will never get a sniff of. As for yourself Tish, you look incredibly gorgeous in that ensemble - reminds me of the beautiful ladies in the "Austin Powers" films. #groovybaby #tishthefasionplate ❤🥰😘
Just beautifull. The car also
🥴
Thirsty muchM
Finally decent range!
very accurate pov.
I'm most interested in the nice windows 😆
Great review Tish. At last Stellantis are giving us grown up battery sizes and charging speeds. I suspect it will be overpriced, most of their EVs are but could be an amazing used buy
Its 45k for rhe lower range version. Close to Tesla
I'm tempted my current lease is up in August but I'm nervous about going full electric tbh
Didn’t show the boot space
Thanks. I wonder if the longer range version will be closer to £60k.
It’s possible considering where it places it in the market!
Just got a nice little advert watching your video for a Porsche Taycan, not sure why but I won't be going to my dealership for one, not sure if it's the charging issues or massive depreciation. Can't you take yours back and say it's not fit for purpose?
Good review Tish,
I don't like the current divisive Peugeot "Cockpit", maybe this version is better? What's wrong with a round steering wheel?
I'm interested on what the other cars that Stellantis put on this platform.
I’ve heard that a lot of the Alfa products will go on this platform ☺️
Round steering wheel will cover the screen and will hit your knees as you have to have the steernjg wheel lower with this setup. That is why the engineers cut the upper and bottom part of the steering wheel.
It is quite a logical conclusion I can't get a grasp why you still don't get it
Neither do I. It's obvious why the steering wheel is designed in this manner. I have a 2022 3008. Took me (and my wife) 30secs to get used to the i-cockpit design@@BrateTebra123
Let's hope it gets close to the advertised range.
Yes fingers crossed, the original was not a great first attempt 🤔
Available on motabilty with range 425 ?
so basically the cameraman spends more time showing the host than the car features themselves? Is it a car review or a Tish review?
I have a full hybrid (self charging) has more range when full (£45 to fill) and doesn't cost as much or have to be as huge.
❤❤
We charge in KW.
This is derived from KWh/h,
E-Megane James , JayEm just reviewed on 650 range. Found it just wasn’t all that !!!!!!!! 4008 petrol please. One on our copy each other RedRow estate. No EV worries. Range or depreciation. And crazy styling. No EV evangelist here.
Cheers Tish way to expensive
As someone who had a Peugeot EV for 3 years..if you want to get the most accurate figure for real world range then immediately halve the WLTP figure and then add 10 miles.. Voila! You now have your real world range :)
Not on mine m8 - official range 225 miles, I regularly get 180 miles in it and about 150 in Winter. Of course if you cane it in Sports Mode all bets are off!
And, of course, double the running cost in terms of Wh/mile.
Yes I am with you on that. I have read that they learnt from the old models and these are more efficient but I agree… I’ll wait to test! (The updated Peugeot models are much more efficient)
put this large battery into the e-308 station wagon and you've got my money, Peugeot.
ordered the mild hybrid yesterday GT
Me too what colour did you go with 👍🏻
pearl white, black roof, sunroof pack and electric seat pack. have you seen anyone test drive them?. what colour did you go for.@@sundancer9324
pearl white, black roof, sunroof pack, electric seat pack, have you seen ant test drives yet. what colour did you go for.@@sundancer9324
My only complaint, next time skip the gloss piano black plastics in the interior, fingerprints everywhere. Matte plastics also looks better imo.
Yes I agree, gloss black has has its time!
The WLTP measurement is 30% above real world at best, so if they called it 300 miles it might be more realistic. However even that doesn't take into account winter driving knocking off some range, and keeping a little spare to find a charger on a long journey. So realistically I'd call it 250 miles to be more comfortable. Better than most, but still a loooong way off what an ICE car can do. The EV industry is guilty of so much exaggeration!
Why do you guys just refuse to check the official figures for each cycle and conditions
🤣🤣with heater on ?
I like a lot of it but the cloth trim is a horrible idea. That will have stains all over and look terrible in no time at all. Especially if the person that buys it has kids.
Hate to be a fun spoiler but I bet the range will start at a minimum of £46k-£50k. The e308 with 250 mile range is £42k and this is far bigger in range and size so will be more expensive. Stellantis are completely out of touch with their electric pricing compared to the likes of Tesla. This is a stunning car though and I cannot wait to see it in the flesh!!
You are sooo wrong buddy. The official prices are out and it is less then 46k by catalogue and that means you can negotiate a price even lower. I would say the prices start at £42.000
Different platform my guy
well ,the issue is, that car brands dont ask more money cos the Bom cost is more, they charge you more for the illusion of upper class, i mean, the materials used in the interior look nice but dont amount to much in actual bom cost for the brand, the fabric used over the simple plastic part is maybe an extra 150 pounds in cost, but ask many thausends just for the premium feel of it.
yes the fancy seats are expensive, but when all the news talk about how battery components prices are in the basement:
Lithium price down from last years $80/kg to $23/kg
Cobalt price down from last years january $70/kg to $34/kg
nickel is also half the price
so material bom cost is cheaper and cheaper, but somehow the battery cost brings the price up regardless.
its simple, if a Tesla Model Y starts at 45K pounds the long range at 52K pounds..
hyundai ioniq 5 starts at 43.5K pounds.
Ford Explorer electric 2024 will also start at the lower 40K-ish pounds,
New Renault Scenic E-Tech also starts around 45K-ish
this should also not start over $45K for the normal version, and not more then 52K for the long range version.
Lovely looking car (I have an e208). If the long-range version was £40k might consider leasing one, but given current battery prices it will be well North of £50k and then it’s in Model Y LR territory so can’t see it.
Hopefully if the standard range still has over 300 miles that shouldn’t be much more than 40k 🤔
Tesla Model Y has 550 km maximum, e-3008 730 km. The base model of the e-3008 will cost 48 000 euro for 520 km, a little more than Tesla Model Y base with 450 km for 45 000 euro but still competetive.
It starts at less then 45k
@@raphaelmabo5014Prety much the best competition to the Model Y from the west
98 kWh lucky they can deliver 300 miles 😂
I don't think its Peugeots best design by a long way. The 408 looks better from most angles except the rear and the post face lift current 3008 and 508 were both great designs inside and out but I think the dash in this looks cheap and the front of it could have been better.
Still watching 2024?
160 max charge speed will still be too slow to fill a 98 kWh pack. Needs double that, and Ioniq 6 and other EVs can do it - why do makers sell inferior features? If they can offer two battery sizes at different costs, why not two inverter/charge speed systems at two prices?
It’ll cost a fortune, and the general public won’t be able to afford it. Another win for Chinese car manufacturers who are actually trying to price cars reasonably so normal people can afford one.
You want the longgeat range ev on the market to be the cheappest? Stellantis is also making cheap vehicles, but for now you can't expect everything
In real world 300 miles maybe
Under 50k. Needs be under 38-40k. Markets coming down. The largerE Megane that and has more range. Prob will be a 40k car Steliantus won’t over egg this one this dire market
The e-3008 is larger than Mégane, it competes with Tesla Model Y. Price 48 000 euro for 520 km version. Price for 730 km version not known yet.
You can't comapre Megane and 3008, you can't compare Renault and Peugeot overall over the segments. Peugeot always has more posh enteriors and better build quality then Reanult. It is common sense to be more expensive. btw prices for the electric versions start at £42.850 before discounts
How hard is it to clap a clapper board, jeez 11:41
That screen is dangerous.
These cars can only be offered as lease to buy there losing far to much money to waste money on the key to electric cars will be how cheap you can get 3 year lease deals for
I think very few people do buy nowadays. It's never really even the sensible way of buying a new car.
@@AutoSocialUK here in the irish market buying is still very much how its done as you mite now we have vrt tax on all our new cars so a car here can cost alot more then the uk and northern ireland if i was to lease over here id need 30k miles a year on the car
the new dash looks horrible and needs to be lower. the previous model looked better.
Who has £50k sitting in the bank doing nothing?
All the tec means ridiculous prices
the range is bollox 🤣🤣
But it wont have that range even on the perfect journey. It’s a made up number….🤦♂️ unless of course they’ve mixed up miles for kilometers…😂
Its a number using the WLTP combined cycle
No EV ever gets that. If you only drive urban you get a lot more if you spend more time om highways, you get less
Why do you people just act like this is news or that its a scam? You can literally check what the cycle is...
Tesla is toast. it was always overhyped but the writing is now on the wall ...in capital letters.
This is a serius competitor to the model Y indeed
These cars are never worth 50k … they outpriced themselves now and that’s why dealers are closing because the can’t sell their cars
A Peugeot e-3008 with 73 kWh and a 520 km range costs 48 000 euro, to compare with 45 000 euro for a Tesla Model Y with 450 km range. It will also be available as dual motor with 320 hk. Plus a long range 98 kWh with 730 km range. That’s 180 km more than Tesla Model Y dual motor long range (550 km). I would say that the e-3008 is very competetive and stylish.
This vehicle wasn't thought out properly before building. The design is terrible both interior and exterior, nice use of technology, but foolishly install in the vehicle. What is it? An SUV or a coupe? What does the back of the vehicle look like? Not impress.
