I’ve owned a 3008 from 2019 that’s a few weeks under 5 years , it has been exceptional it was a 180 bhp gt line premium with every extra and I have loved it . Brilliant build quality comfort and superb mileage . I’m about a week away from taking delivery of this above new e3008 GT . I am not an electric fan if I’m honest , but sadly no more diesels are being made . Wheels I hate but I can change them so let’s hope it lives up to its predecessor ! . Good review thanks 🇬🇧👍🏻
Absolutely beautiful and very well built indeed ... In all respect, it puts some of the so called premium brands to shame! Go Peugeot and very good channel
Cockpit design is interesting, they have gone the complete opposite direction to Volvo and their centralisation approach. I think this is better, more convenient and safer than having a bit central screen
this is size vise between the CX40 and CX60, and also more expensive then the CX40. its not in the same class size wise the new EX30.. its around 30cm/ one foot longer.
Waiting for a delivery of my new 2024 3008E. Loved watching your video, Im so excited to see and drive it ASAP. Thank you for an honest talk on it. It's Roarrrrring 👍
I think your pricing is conservative. My understanding is that the full 2024 EV in Australia will be very close to $AUD100K. I would have thought the UK price would be closer to 55K (English pounds). I made a decision not to purchase a hybrid version or wait for the EV for two reasons. One was price and the other was infrastructure problems (in Australia). So I purchased an exDemo 2022 Peugeot 3008GT HDi (2.0L diesel). That is the last of the diesels in Australia. Got it at a great price with a free service package. The engine is proven. Great car. Love it. Will be interested to see the sales record of the full EV model over the next three years.
Good to see Peugeot starting to design good looking cars again (ex 406 Coupe 3.0 V6 owner). Thanks for another interesting review. Can't wait to see the road test.
People stop with this BS. Most of Peugeot cars for at least 30 years are very successful designs. Just a few examples: 406, 406, 405 and 406 coupe, 205, 206 every gen, RCZ, 3008/5008 2nd gen 306 and last two gen of 308... List could longer. And guess what. Most of those designs aren't boring or very outdated even now.
"starting to design good looking cars again"..... mate, Peugeot have been making top cars since 2012-2014..... Where have you been those last 10 years ? Time to catch up, pal.
How did Peugeot not put in a frunk/froot with the size of that front end, obviously they didn't design the engine bay well enough even Hyundai has put one in the new 2024 Kona not huge but big enough for charge cables. I wonder if there is room in there for one will just mean 3rd parties will design one for it as there is for the Atto 3 and Dolphin as a couple examples.
I love the look of this car and cockpit looks light it would be delightful to drive, hate those really plain, massively open cockpits that a lot of Electric cars get.
I have 2019 3008 and love it really (albeit under-powered)…. I’m not so convinced by the styling of this new 3008. I think the cockpit is good, although perhaps a bit too fussy and the exterior… perhaps it works better in person? too bulky; snub nose and raised back end… not for me. Hoping Mazda do something good with next gen cx5…
Generally agree - just purchased a 2022 3008GT- like the look of it much better - although I agree the cockpit has been improved.. Price will be the problem.
The Chinese manufacturers might be able to provide more range for less but they still have nothing on European Style. Peugots interiors are the best under 100K. I think VW group is going to have to take note I think they have been overly conservative recently and they can't really be that and compete.
In the early part the reviewer made a somewhat negative comment re the Peugeot 308. That surprised me as the 308 (in Australia) has a very good reputation and much better than the small Peugeots of that era. I had a 2012 Peugeot 308HDi (2.0L diesel) Had 165,000kms of trouble free driving - terrific car to drive - comfortable - handled well. The engine was bombproof.
Great looking car and spec but will I be able afford it, missing rear wiper! Does it have an option for one and does it come with a sun roof? Great blog, look forward to seeing on the road.
Not a dedicated EV platform! and its already schowing in the back. Remains to be seen if this can hold up to a full EV on consumption and comfort while driving
What’s interesting though is the platform was designed to be an EV on first. They then re-engineer it for ICE, so the compromises are made on the ICE models.
I'm afraid I find the front end of all the Peugeots utterly hideous, this being the worst. The front of the Kia EV6 is as sleek and elegant as this is bluff - I really think the Koreans are leading the way on styling (with a huge exception of the EV9 HGV).

Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it.
Looks like a winner.
Wow! Another superb car from Peugeot, full of allure, truly next level! Thank you 🇫🇷 for giving us this
Glad you liked it!
Great video, just about to sign the deal. This gave me more info and less blab than the salesman.
Thank you.
❤❤❤
price will be the only problem
But this is a very good looking car

I'm not sure about tail design 😬
I have the GT version on order due to take delivery in September. love your review thanks.
Just ordered this bad boy, should be in it by January, test drive was amazing

Waiting on my delivery of one too. Was given 13 weeks, 3 weeks ago. How long do you have to wait?
Was told August September 🤞🙏👍
@@ethelturnbull-roberts4480 Ive been told end of June and see that a Swansea dealership has already received one :-)
Great video as always, look forward to driving the Polestar 4 and the full AutoEV road test

I had a great 406 estate. Brilliant drive.
Might be my OCD, but why is the E2003 off center from the Peugot badge?
Wonder if there will be a ev c5 aircross coming as I think this would be the sister car to that ?

PS I bought the 2022 model with the 2.0L diesel engine - plenty of power.
very nice i like that inside spot on out side spot on thanks have a nice day
was about to order a byd atto3 on motability, now I'm second guessing
It’s not surprising that the boot space measures the same as in the ICE predecessor as this number only measures to the parcel shelf…
True although I’m talking about the approach to cockpit design

Does this car have Apple Car Play and Android Auto or is it like Tesla where it has it's own system for phone connection?
I think it looks great
The "E3008" is off center on the back end, that is giving me an itch. Aside that, the car is gorgeous!!
That's pissing me off. Lol.
@@Mark-wx1ho agree.
It looks like the E was an after thought because if you take that off its central
Thank you. Looks good. I bet the larger battery version heads towards £55-60k. for Stellantis to make any money. Gorgeous interior.
All the attractive Peugeots in the past were Pininfarina designs so it's good that they've found a new and interesting design language - finally.
I agree. It is a great looking car.
I prefer the new Scenic (int/ext)
Super-car 👍
Looks good, but its massive!
Have ours coming in August, tried it last week. A little underpowered the only fault.
I hope it’s got a lithium, iron phosphate battery.
Incredible, gorgeous, huge, beautiful, so biased.

oh! one point not covered in the video, It's got a real big door for a big arthritic bloke like me.
There isn't any manufacturers with as many rises and falls as Peugeot because Peugeot is the oldest manufacturer of cars in existence.
start including metric units in your videos. miles are meaningless in most of the world
Convert it then. We use Miles in the UK, not KM. Get over it.
@@Mark-wx1ho lol who cares about your wretched island
Good thing he isn’t in most of the world then.
Clown
Totally agree
back looks like the Jaguar IPace
Now you mention it, I can see some of the I-Pace in it.

Subjective.
You must be joking
Cannot agree.
The only problem with Korean cars of Kis and Hyundai, they are way too plasticity overload, nothing premium about them at all interior wise.
Buy on of them then 🤔 why are you interested in a product you dislike ?
I don't like it, absolutely. Especially 'cause it's an electric car. For me the Lion King is my new 308 1,2 puretech 130, in elixir red. 😉🦁
The 1.2 Puretech engine is the poorest of the Peugeot engines. The 308's best engine was the 2.0L diesel. Plenty of power and will go forever.
You look very small to the car
!??. Thanks for breathing.
Still underpowered. Dual motor should be at least 500 bhp. Shame. 0-60 in 7.5 seconds is lame for an EV with dual motor
It's not a sports car!!! It's a family car.
Nothing stopping it having more power like Kia EV9 for example @@allanbriggs9007
Very so small ......
Peugeot better than German crap cars
