Have you thought about getting the bike tuned on a dyno? i have heard people getting performance improvements along with better fuel economy (heard of, could be wrong).
Will be getting mt10 later this year (once I get A licence), hope I will be able to get insured! Ive had insurance companies not insure me on a cbr125r but let me get insured on a er6f restricted???.
Yeh you can get slightly better fuel economy. Tune is on the list just not at the moment. Will be interesting for insurance I've 7 years no claims so I was able to issue
Sure I will do a liberty assessment or something like that if it comes to it. Might not be a bad idea for yourself if you want cheaper insurance.

@@Slayer19876Liberty don't actually insure the MT10 for whatever reason, it's online when you get a quote but you won't get one for it and when you call they say they don't cover it. I'm insured with FBD through Carole Nash and they were the cheapest. They insured me no problem last year but I did have 3 sports bikes insured with them so that might be why. Be worth ringing before you comment to buying.

Is it better to go through a broker for your first insurance on a bike or is there a good insurance company for bikes in Ireland?
Looking to get my learner permit soon and trying to figure out what options I have.
There aren't many brokers that cover bike, but I would definitely try them. I will be trying brokers myself for my renewal. Liberty insurance are pretty decent, for your first insurance it'll always be pricey
Can I ask who your insured with I'm 23 and got a cracking deal on insurance on first A bike with liberty after doing rider assessment with them.
I'm insured with Carole Nash, the rider assessment gives you a great discount, I have a level 2 and saved 40%
