Hi pal, I am in Ontario, Canada and the insurance rate here is crazy. I have the same bike and bought it in May. I insured it with a multiple program (home, 3 cars) and again it cost me $2200 per year for for ZH2 only. Consider this issue that here you can’t ride it more than 6 months as you’ll get freezed 🥶 Enjoy your bike and I wish you the best moments with this amazing machine.
Sick of the idiocy and poor judgment of car drivers! I had my accident in June, small van pulled out in front of me, bike written off, I ended up in A&E. According to the police officer on the scene it was clear cut, driver admitted liability. Anything but, the insurance companies will drag out the claim process for months and months with no end in sight. I hate them, every single one of them and I still have no financial redress and no bike.

Same for my ZX6R - got the best deal via Kawasaki insurance and their help centre was very helpful. I had an extra NCB, but my renewal was way less than half of last years
Very useful as they say pays to shop around, will look at your other review as considering one of these in 2022 will be going to the NEC bike show in December, also recognise those roads as just up the road in Worcester, currently ride a BMW UGS for the last three years and want more tech and power ;-)
Traumatic isnt the best word for this, but I understand why you used it
Unfortunately I've had 7 or so accidents in 9 years of riding, of which 1 was my fault. The others have certainly given me something to learn from, especially after breaking half my body and caving my head in! Some people get away with a lifetime of no issues, and some people crash three times in a month (I've seen it personally on many occasions). But such is life, If we were all that worried, we would wrap ourselves up in bubble wrap and shelter from the world.
And dont get me started on insurance

I pay £265 a year for same bike and guess who with Bennetts!!
Compare the market every time.
Also with Kawasaki insurance for my 2020 ninja 650.Free leathers cover and gloves thrown in.
got z1000 2017 third party paying 250 a year, plan buy zh2 too and now afraid even to try it :D

Had the same problem with Bennetts, insuring my ZZR and R1 on a multi bike policy until I wanted to add a third bike Triumph Speed triple RS, Bennetts said the same that the under writers couldn't insurer the Triumph on a multi bike policy side by side with the other two? WTF! Cancelled my policy with Bennetts and got a quote from Carol Nash no problem amazingly using the same underwriter, fathom that one out if you can?

When you say floor do you mean ground?
Progressive wanted to charge me $1200 for my 2020 ZH2 and another $358 for my 2015 BMW K1600gtl for a $1538 total on a multi-bike policy. I shopped around and found Dairyland insurance and wound up with a multi-bike policy for $758 a year. Progressive said the outrageous premium they wanted to charge me was merely because the bike had a supercharger.

Got quoted 2800$ for the year on a zx14r/ZZr 1400 in Ontario and thought that was actually pretty good. And I've been riding clean record for 6 years now. We are getting screwed over here.
