The torque tightening for the oil drain bolt looks more real than the mt 07 and mt 09.. My mt07 manual says 43nm for the oil drain bolt... It seems too tight... Good video.
@@MotomojoFL thats what they say. That is so the oil is thinner and drains better. I just keep the drain plug and oil filter off for a couple hours before refilling.

Cool tail bag! Also good idea with the foil to keep header pipes dry & clean. Sweet bike, xsr 900 owner here the mt-10 is hella cool!!!
XSR is a sweet ride! Glad you enjoyed the video. Posting more soon.
Quick tip. Remove oil filler cap when draining. Better flow.
It would've never occurred to me to use aluminum foil to direct the oil away from the pipes (because I'm an idiot). Thanks for the idea!
Good video inspiring
Thank you sir
What oil are you supposed to use on the first oil change?

What’s the name of that wrench he used to tighten the filter to spec?
Goes by many names but a common name is oil filter cap wrench. Available on Amazon.
This is a great video, thank you very much for it! How do you lift your motorcycle by the front axle?
With a front end stand. Comes in useful when removing front wheel. 🤙🏼
Good idea using the aluminum. I cut a milk jug to fit under the exhaust.
A proper oil change requires warming the bike’s oil for a bit prior to draining it. Header would be warm and that’s why the aluminum foil vs. plastic.

You have 100 ml left.
Hi boss....oil +filter have capacity 4.1 liters.no oil correct in your engine
That’s right. But the filter being dry, it took just a tad more than the 4.1 to get it mid level on the window.
I thought MT10 came from factory with fully synthetic and MT09 came with semi-synthetic
You DO NOT break in engines with full synthetic. Parts won't mate together properly. It's too slippery!
