Wow. Quite a shocking reaction from Lissa, who laughed when she admits she made "mistakes." It's no secret that alot of visa officers don't understand their jobs thoroughly enough to make fair decisions on visa apps. Of course, on a non-immigrant visa, an officer can just say they don't think you qualify, but without further questioning, deciding to refuse is, in essence, malfeasance. If nothing else, it's good that Lissa is not behind the window now, as visa applicants deserve much better. The State Dept needs visa officers who follow the law, are earnest, and, most importantly, don't abuse their discretion.
Thanks for putting our this info out there, watched some of your videos and they were helpful. Got approved on my second attempt ✅ and I am here now.
Great job! Congrats!!
Lisa thank you for your legal counsel.
Nice seeing you again Lissa.
Nice to meet you guys
Really interesting, thank you!
I'm very nervous because my future husband and I have so many complicated circumstances. Sometimes it feels like the universe doesn't want us to be together. We are in a same-sex relationship and I cannot introduce him to my family because they are extremely conservative and homophobic. So no letters of recommendation there... I would only tell them if we get approved and I know for sure I can be with him. I wouldn't want to be disowned by my family and then get denied a visa and have no one. He is from Russia and that country is very conservative as well. I believe he will have to interview at the Embassy in Warsaw Poland so there will be travel expenses for that too. For us to meet we also have to both meet in another country because I cannot travel to Russia. I am worried about only meeting him once, but a trip for us will cost thousands of dollars each time since we both need to travel to another country. We do talk daily, and I hope that his genuine excitement for me would be enough along with as much evidence as we can gather. I stress about this everyday, but I have felt better watching many of the videos you make and know that we will get a consultation when the time is right. Is it advisable to get a consultation before even applying to know if its even worth trying? I wonder if visa officers will look down on him due to the war Russia began in Ukraine even though he doesn't agree with it.
I have applied for J1 visa and it has been denied. I will apply again in two weeks. My mother lives in Turkey, Father in the UK and sister is in Switzerland(married). I'm from Turkey and studying in Bosnia. The officer only focused on how my father went, why he went and so on. I provided some short answers because I didn't expect that he would ask that much deep about my family. What's your advice for future applications?
They want to know if you're a family that is trying to immigrate, so you have to convince them otherwise.
@@ArgoSocial Thank you so much for your response. My family members already live in those countries legally. They are settled there for a long time. Even though, I really appreciated for the response.
Good day. While waiting for our k1 visa, is it ok to apply for visitor's visa? Thanks in advance for your response. God bless
My wife is getting ready for a CR-1 Spousal Visa interview, she has been denied 3 tourist visas and I had her walk away from a job in Malaysia because her boss broke the contract by not having her working as a maid like she was hired for but had her running his Juiceworks business. What should we do if she can't get a certificate of good conduct because of this? Can you do more videos on Spousal/Immediate family Visa's? Thank you. Do you have people in Manila that could help my wife with the CR-1 interview?
My husband is on F1 visa for Spring 2021 intake he went to USA, now i got an admission in same university for Fall2022. Can husband and wife can study in same university ?and is there any chance of rejecting the F1 visa on this reason !!!kindly clarify
Why does it take so long for Juarez consulate to schedule k1 visa interview been waiting over 2 months 😵💫
If someone was denied study visa long ago to a different country my question is would it effect the visa approval to USA???
Good morning I have a question my wife had interviewed last December and the Consoler officer told her that interview went well but the gave her a paper said you need to be on administrative Process and we submit all documents that’s required nothing missing, so for your guys experience how long takes to get decision from the embassy.
Thanks
Hi I am a doctor from India. I have served in Indian army medical corps as a doctor. Currently I am working at a private hospital. I have mentioned it in previous employment as well as under the section of military service in ds160. I want b1 visa for doing medical observership.. Will military service adversely affect my chance of getting b1 visa? Or is it advantageous? Please answer this question
Your military service is not necessarily a red flag for your B1/B2 visa. Nevertheless, your application may go through administrative processing.
@@rickkhan1093 I got 10 yr visa 😀
This stupid. How she gonna punish people for not having wedding plans if they don't know when they will get a VISA? The current K1 visa people getting approved been waiting for like 1 - 1.5 years. And the VISA gives you 4+ months to start the 90 days... plenty of time to plan after approval
Please help me with this

Can anyone say what was the reason?
The first rejection probably because you mentioned you want to become a software engineer they thought you will migrate..second one maybe because you got tensed.. No idea
We can analyze that for you. preview.argovisa.com
The first...maybe because you talked about furthering with your masters...looks like you may not want to come back home
The second...the officer may still be discouraged cos of your reason for first rejection
