@@SafeDriveSolutions My husband and I own an A/V company that covers 5 States.....and he installed car stereo for years. I'm not saying they aren't convenient to have....but it's NOT something the average person needs for a one time install. Telling ppl they need this tool to install a dash cam is dishonest.
@@jillfranklin7377 I at no point in time tell people they have to buy that tool. I say we have to use our specialty tool. There are plenty of people using a tie strap to run wires. I am not one of those people I prefer to use this tool for efficiency. I had a competitor tell me we must be hacking it in doin g some of the installs we do that fast. I said no we have paid for specialty tools to increase efficiency. When they seen my videos some of my compeitors have went and bought the same tool to increase their install times. I also use these videos for education a lot of customers will never do it themselves and our wonderin g how we do it. I am sure your customers are curious on how you do things as well. @@SafeDriveSolutions yeah everything is covered. And I don’t want to fish the wire through. Should I just stick it to the inside ceiling? I would like to stick it on the window but it’s looking impossible
Hi ! Do you know what is the lenght of the cable that comes with the rear camera for the Viofo A139 ? I would like to run it at the back of my Hilux, which is a pretty long distance...thanks for your help !!
Finally a video where I get all the info I need without the endless talking. Thanks!!
My 2024 Outback had the Voifo 229A installed just like that, 3 cameras $99
Can’t beat it. Glad to see they did it right. Great video!
clean, straightforward, simple, and helps me better understand what to do. Great stuff. Thanks!
You don't need a " specialized fish tool".....and yes you can find glow rods and other wire fishing supplies at hardware stores.
These fish tools specifically do lots of vehicles that a fish tool found at local store wont cover.

Wire hanger and tape will do the trick. It’s how I ran wires thru the firewall plenty of times.
@@SafeDriveSolutions can you share where one could get those speciality fish tool?
VERY CLEAN! GREAT JOB!!
Telling a few porkies regarding the fish wire and the grommets but nice job none the less.
Got motion sick watching this. Good info though.
Can you pls also upload a detailed video for 2023 crv?
I am pretty sure this is a brand new crv
Good video. But my cam doesn't have right angle when I hang it on the window, so I think I'll hang it on the rear window panel with screws.
I would think that mounting the rear camera on the inside of the back window would reflect off the glass creating a glare.
Usually back dash is a bigger concern
Yeah I’m trying to do this on my RDX without taking it apart. It’s a lease and I don’t know if I’ll keep it yet.
Newer RDX the back hatch is a little different than typical hatches

@@govindarampersaud688 Have you considered getting a professional installer to run the wire for you?
@@SafeDriveSolutions yeah I was looking into that, but again, I will then need to to remove it for me when it comes times to return the lease .
👍
Took me like 10 minutes to run mine throughout my car with just my bare hands done all wires are hidden also
Thats great
I can't find anywhere how to install Dashcam viofo a229 pro mazda cx-3, please help🤗🙏

approx 20 feet
Anything on front?
Here’s how you do it, but you can’t do it because you don’t have the tool. ha ha!
No tools, just zip ties and WD40...
Don’t have a plastic strip on top of the rear boot 🥲 (polo 6r)
Assume they did the factory wiring with the window off
what type of vehicle?
