I think it would be cool (as far as new content) to hear dusty and candy react together to different posts from the parenting subreddit. Just hearing y’alls parenting advice/opinions would be really cool.

Umbrella story she is the *hole. I don't think she really took responsibility for her mistake because she was continuously making excuses as to why she can't return it even though she only lives 10 minutes from the school (you can do laundry and still have 10 minutes between loads to take umbrella back) and then also made the situation worse by being petty over her mistake.

Nah Umbrella is an a- hole, not a huge one but still. If you make a mistake, especially in taking something that's not yours, apologies and get it back to them. The, "go and get it", doesn't work here because she didn't even know where to go and seemingly was never actually told. All we were told is the rough estimate of OP's distance from the school so unless she pulled a super crazy move of ringing every doorbell she had no ability to enact agency outside of phone conversation and meeting at the school. Op seems to have just brushed it off as a little thing that could be solved whenever and that is an asshole move.

4-story number one I think the husband has a gambling problem and that problem is eating into his funds. I don't think he forgot to give her a gift I think he didn't have enough money to give her a gift and his plan was to win big at the casino and give her money from his win. I think the problem isn't that he forgot to get her anyting and it isn't that he had money for her and spent it on the casino I think he never had it at all and he didn't know how to tell her. He probably had a negative reaction to her being upset about everything because he is covering up a lot of shame and he doesn't want her to find out how bad his finances are and his gambling addiction is.
If we never give people an opportunity to grow and be better than racism, we are guaranteeing they stay racists. I'm not saying there shouldn't be consequences, but our culture at large (in all subjects) has almost forgone forgiveness and become a puritanical society in which someone who has made a mistake has no road to redemption. No matter how bad they feel, no matter whether they apologize and try to do better. We all make mistakes, and I think it's time we act like it and offer others the forgiveness we hope to receive when we are inevitably the ones making the mistakes.
I'd say attacking her character when telling him what happened with what's evolved with her dad, is an ascon2 move.
The last one, I find myself wondering if OP’s sister has had a miscarriage or a scare of one and it triggered her? Because this is awful nuclear to go over a 10-year old seeing OP talking about that on Tiktok. Like, was the 10-year old traumatized? This is really freaking weird.
