As a Baloch Programmer, developer & coder, I understand the potential of this oil discovery, but there’s more to the story than meets the eye. When the video mentions 'Islamabad,' it’s referring to the central government, but the reality is that it’s the establishment, the army and certain political forces who have been controlling Balochistan. They’ve consistently marginalized local communities, with unjust military operations, resource exploitation, and little regard for Baloch rights. One serious issue is the Afghan refugees who have been settled in Balochistan with support from the establishment. Over the years, many have claimed lands that belong to the local Baloch, including strategic routes, despite originally coming as refugees. These settlements, enabled by military backing, seem like a planned effort to replace the Baloch and alter the region’s demographics, furthering instability. If this new discovery is to benefit anyone, it must be directed by genuine Baloch leaders who are loved and trusted by the people of Balochistan. Not proxies, not military puppets, and certainly not those who are here to replace the Baloch. Only then can we ensure that this newfound wealth uplifts Balochistan and respects the rights of its native population without interference from an establishment that has consistently acted against the interests of Balochistan. Without authentic Baloch representation, this will just be another chapter in the long history of exploitation.
Don't tell the half truth, your Baloch feudal lords and leaders also have a huge role on the current situation in Balochistan, in fact feudal lords own most of the land there

I came across your channel through this video- case studies are incredibly valuable, and I'm eager to see more in the future! Building wealth involves establishing routines, like consistently setting aside funds at regular intervals for smart investments.
You're correct. I think the smartest way to go is to spread out your investments. By putting your money into different asset classes like bonds, real estate, and stocks from other countries, you can lower the risk if one part of the market goes bad.
That sounds like a good plan. In the past two years, working closely with a financial market specialist, I've built a six-figure diversified stock portfolio. Now, I aim to diversify even more this year.
I'm a newbie talking about a financial market specialist, do you consider anyone worthy of recommendations? I have about 10Ok to test the waters now that large cap stocks are at a discount
IMF doesn’t impose restrictions it just gives out conditional loans So it’s like here is $10B to keep your government running but you can’t use it for energy subsidies. Calling that a restriction is misleading.
Except in the cases I know of, the money is given with preconditions to address issues that result in nothing, almost as if the money was never given, and was just laundered through the recipient nation. Argentina: here’s several billion to run your government, except you can’t run your government with it; you can only service foreign bonds and debt obligations. Paying off debts is cool and all, but it seems these funds come with preconditions attached to them that prevent them from serving that purpose.
No. the condition is not regarding how the money is used, it's regarding how it's paid back. So they force govts to cut spending in certain areas in order to pay back the loans, when that shouldn't be up to them. Also IMF is led by an Indian, the kind of conditions they have put have made electricity prices higher than rent, this isn't normal. It must be intentional.
As someone born in Karachi, it makes me happy to hear that there may be good news on the horizon for Pakistan. I just wonder why some people just keep trying to put down even a the slightest good news coming from Pakistan. It speaks volumes about some of Pakistan’s neighbors.

Hi, 15-year oil and gas business professional here. Geological (I'm assuming seismic) surveys alone do not constitute "discoveries". As per SPE PRMS definitions a discovery would require a well to be drilled confirming the presence of hydrocarbons with logs and a well test to prove moveable fluid. These are exploration leads or prospects at best. Prospects' average rate of success / discovery would be 1 in 10 wells. I don't know much about the Pakistani offshore geology, but a quick Google search indicates that companies have been drilling there since the 1960's. Assuming these companies were technically sound, they would have drilled the largest prospects early on therefore increasing the risk profile of an economic discovery in future drilling campaigns. While it is possible that a sleeping giant is out there somewhere, I would not count your chickens just yet. This seems to all just feed some speculation machine and any decisions being made by the government or any investors on these discoveries will most likely lose money.
i propose to Pakistan that this discovery should be hidden from world and oil should be extracted secretly because somebody might start planning for human rights protection and freedom for Pakistan from Pakistan

Oil prices are definitely coming down in the long term. More and more gets discovered all around the world while OPEC is beginning to price each other out of the market.

@@Blingblang7 He is speaking the truth. so most probably Indian. So where is the oil that was claimed in 2009 and in 2012 and later in 2020???

IMF doesn’t impose restrictions it just gives out conditional loans
So it’s like here is $10B to keep your government running but you can’t use it for energy subsidies.
Calling that a restriction is misleading.
So many people don't understand this.
But it is not only loans, often enough it is just given.
They do impose austerity etc.
No. the condition is not regarding how the money is used, it's regarding how it's paid back.
There are definite problems in Pakistan, but if Turkey can invest in Somalia (as the video also points out), then surely it can do so again in Pakistan.

Great insight!

Pakistan doesn't meet the requirements for oil reserves in the offshores
there also have been no resent geological survey
many operations have been drilling for oil since 60 years and didn't find any
its highly unlikely that there would be any oil reserves there
